Best place to shop in town!

Great products and service. I have been doing business here for several years and my kitty loves the food.

I love mud bay. The reason I love mud bay is because they are very customer oriented. I will always go to mud bay besides this is the cheapest place I can buy my brand of dog food.

If your an animal lover, you'll find this store is really great. If I don't buy online, I go here. The staff truly make the difference. Incredibly helpful, and even more knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff. Was super excited to learn about their trial program with wet food for my cat. I am trying to change my cats food and I was informed that Mud Bay has a program that will comp cans of food for you until you find the perfect match. Besides that the staff is always knowledgeable and eager to help you find what you’re looking for. The place is clean and well stocked, and if there is anything missing, there is usually a sign that gives you a heads up as to why it’s missing.

Gotta love this place. Small shop service with competitive prices. Looking for some new food for a senior dog. They provided 3 sample cans (full size) to test things out. Who says good service is a thing of the past.

My girlfriend has a chihuahua named Ollie. Ollie hates me. A lot. We come to Mud Bay in order to refill a plastic bucket with various treats that Ollie likes. Whenever I give him one of these treats he hates me a little less, and I've even been able to get him to sit and stay in order to get one of these tasty treats from my hand. I'm happy to not get nipped when we have treats for Ollie. Sometimes though, we run out of treats before we can go refill the bucket again. I call those the Dark Times. The staff at Mud Bay are friendly, knowledgable, and they barely giggle when I come walking in with a bandaged hand and an empty treat bucket. I'm always glad to see the wide selection of treats they carry that help Ollie hate me just a little less.

Came in here to find a raw food to switch my cats to and the lady I talked to was so knowledgeable about the brands they carried and the ingredients. I feel like they knew more than my veterinarian!

Favorite place for my dogs food and other stuff they need

Depending on how you feed your pet, Mud Bay can be a bit more expensive than the big petfood chains. They sell mainly higher end or ‘boutique’ style brands. I feel it’s worth it, especially if your pet has dietary restrictions. The emoloyees have always been great and quite a bit more knowledgeable than I’ve experienced in larger chain stores. The place is clean & well organized. For those who are interested, they have taken covid precautions seriously and even have the payment card readers on long tables that put some distance between the register and the customers. They even had a handwash station by the entrance the last time I was there. I like the fact that the Mud Bay employees don’t hover, but they are always present & visible if a question needs answering. They seem to want to be there and seem to care about finding the right stuff for your dogs & cats. They have single serving dry food samples, and sometimes small can samples for cats, just ask and they’ll send you off with some things to try. I usually buy things like leashes, collars & beds online but I’ll always come here for my dog & cat’s food.

Amazimg place! Such sweet folks. Highly recommend. 15/10 ever time.

Yoooo, homemade natural dog treats 3.99 a lb. need I say more ?

They were awesome since I usually shop at UP store. Both stores went out of their way to meet dogs needs.

They set up an Easter Egg hunt around the store with treat-filled eggs for the pups. Need I say more? Well, they also stand behind everything they sell, and will refund/replace to help you get what's right for your pet. I have been to another local shop where the staff watched as I bought and opened a $10 bone and as my dog snubbed it refusing to touch it in the store. When I asked if I could exchange It, they simply said "no", citing that I had opened it-- yeah, they don't do that here.

I came in last minute because I didn't realize the time and they didn't close early or anything even though no one else was in the store. I was quick to get my stuff and very thankful. They're always very nice staff, will offer my dog treats and even carry heavy bags out to the car! Great brands and great service!!

They are a specialty pet store with wide range of food and supplies. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of merchandise.

Everyone is so wonderful here at the stadium mud bay location !! I am sure that's because of the great manager Melissa. I had the pleasure to meet and see in action how amazing she is. I am so impressed with this group of people here. It's well worth coming to this location. Nice parking right in front and overlooking the water view.

Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly too. As soon as I came in they welcomed me to the area since we are new here. They listened to an issue about our cat and immediately started helping me find possible food solutions. They gave me some free samples to try out before we commit to a certain brand and even some free cat treats. We will definitely being going back.

This place has amazing, unique items. Very high quality. The staff is exceptional. They always welcome you with a smile and are knowledgeable about the products they sell. There's really no other pet store like it in Tacoma. Definitely worth a trip. Your animals will thank you for it! :)
