Although this clinics website states "Even so, about 5 % of hyperthyroid cats have unusually ‘stubborn’ tissue that may require a second treatment with I-131. We typically carry the cost of retreatment for the owner, unless the second dose is necessarily quite large." that is not the case at all. My cat was treated here in 2019 and now needs this procedure to be done again. When making the decision to have this procedure done I was comforted by the strong indication that if it was needed to be done again it would be available at a low cost. This is not the case at all.

Great communication from the staff and so far my cat is doing well following treatment. She was well cared for while under treatment at the facility and I was provided with regular updates while she was away from home. My baby girl says thank you!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. Was referred here a few years ago by my veterinarian to treat hyperthyroidism in my older cat. They really are the experts here! They explained the entire procedure, risks, benefits, and after-care. They kept me informed of my cat’s status every step of the way. We’re now over 3 years post treatment with no return of the disease! I acknowledge this isn’t for everyone because of the cost of treatment but if you can do it I absolutely wouldn’t think twice about any other option or anywhere else.

We used Dr. Vaughan's clinic in 2014, when our older male cat started to waste away from hyperthyroidism. We were treated with incredible kindness and patience. The staff answered all my questions, gave daily updates while Kitteh was receiving treatment, and sent home specific instructions how to deal with Kitteh's Radioactive Poo. Today Kitteh is slowing down, finally ... at the age of 23. He still seeks affection and eats well, and we are forever grateful. The treatment works and was worth every single penny.

Took very good care of my cat and gave me daily updates. I'm so glad there's a vet that provides this service in the area.

Jennifer at the front desk is the most amazing person. Dr. Vaughn is so great. This whole experience was so good. I was nervous, and anxious. Really I was freaking out about having the procedure done and leaving my cat overnight for multiple nights. Jennifer put my mind at ease about my kitty being well cared for. My cat likes her, and my cat doesn't really like anyone but me.
