Been going here for 15 years. New ownership has streamlined communication with the same service. No reason the change now.

Love the staff here, they are so sweet. My dog was sick, they were a doctor down, but they still fit her in to a day full of appointments. Appreciated it so much. They have always been very concern about my pets health,

They were very professional and told you all they were doing and helped set up pet insurance for my fur baby Frankie.

Great care, just a bit disappointed that no one called to check in on our 14+ Pom that had surgery on Friday. Just a quick call to see how he is doing would have been nice.

It's always been stressful taking any of my animals to the vet over the years. They are awesome with my almost 2yr old Yorkie and I never have any doubts about her care while she is there. The staff is very responsive, always want to hear all my concerns and address each one thoughtfully. I look to them for guidance for the best care and they have yet to disappoint. Thank you Lake Meridian Team....you guys ROCK!!

My ederly Mom's dog had a simple ear infection and it cost her $280 to get treatment which I think is ridiculous!! Staff were great though, although they are very understaffed at the front desk and answering phones.

Able to get pet in on same day, drop-off basis, which was appreciated, but never got to meet or talk to the vet in person, only by phone call, then an email from the vet regarding test results & treatment plan. Processes seem a little convoluted, and costs seemed high. ALL staff were friendly & helpful. Perhaps with scheduled appointments (rather than a drop-off) the care is a little more personal & increases clients trust that your pet is getting good care.

They did not tell me my X-rays would be over a $140more to get them back in one hour which In Reality it was way more than an hour when I got results it could of waited the normal 36 hours to get them cheaper very deceptive plus I have to get my dogs own urine sample cuz they said they couldn’t get one from him he was there for over five hours do not take your pet here unless you want to pay more than any other place I will never take my dog back there again

I was at Lake Meridian Animal Hospital just the other day and I was not impressed. A lady came in with an appointment at 11 however her dog started having an emergency at about 10:45.. she repeatedly asked can someone help me my dog is bleeding (all over the floor) and the receptionist completely disregarded her and kept typing. They came out cleaned up the blood and told her to wait till her appointment. Not cool.

Joanie & I recently went through the most difficult loss of our lives, when our best friend, Zeek, developed pancreatic cancer. He was almost 15 years old & those of us that have a pet we love more than life, we can't help, as years go along, but think of the inevitable. For me it was a mix of tragedy & blessing, because while we never want to lose our beloved pets, in our case, the cancer developed quickly & Zeek was not in any pain or discomfort for very long & it resolved itself in the best possible way, given the circumstances. But what means more to my wife & I is the manner in which these folks helped us through it & acted with great compassion, precision, guidance, & love. They were comprehensively thorough in their diagnoses, communicated the hope as well as the possibilities with absolute professionalism, and through it all we felt like what we were going through really mattered to everyone concerned with our situation. They also gave us the referral to an amazing group of individuals at "Lap of Love", and this on top of their service to us, made such a difference in the manner we were able to be with Zeek in his final moments, I can't express my gratitude in any way that adequately conveys our thanks; I have never been served in any capacity, with an equal degree of professionalism... as a business owner of 35 years, I recognize & admire this degree of commitment to excellence; it has become so rare. As hard as the reality is, it would have been so much worse had we not had the girls at #LakeMeridianAnimalHospital taking care of us. I especially want to mention Dr. Iby & one of her assistants, "David"; they are a rare gift to the profession, we want to wish all of you strength for the times you have to help others through such a heart-breaking loss & we pray for God's very abundant blessing on all your efforts to be a source of healing & hope, we are so very grateful for you ALL!

Everyone was so nice and professional, very detailed and really cared about my puppy. I had a horrible experience at my last vet and they really cared about fixing her issue VS pushing it on the back burner. Highly recommended.

The one thoii didn't like, is. We had an appointment at 10:30 am and we were still waiting to be seen at 11:10 am. So my question is why have a stupid appointment at all. If you still have to wait to be seen it's a waist of my time. Ppl have better things to do then wait at an doctors office. Even if it is a necessary thing.

My pets (two cats and one dog) have been patients here for close to 10 years. Though they have seen a few different docs, techs, and admin over that period, they have all been wonderful! The vets are all caring, highly knowledgeable, and excellent communicators. For the regular check ups, teeth cleanings and vaccines to the all the bizarre things that have popped up in my baby’s lives, they’ve been there to take care of or guide me in the right direction to the specialized care they needed. Now as my dog enters the final chapter of his life, he’s been shown such loving kindness, compassion, and patience (he doesn’t get around very fast!). I’m so grateful that the team at Lake Meridian Animal Hospital is there to help me keep him feeling good for as long as we have with him!!

Had appt to update shots and tests for our German Shepard. I was there 3.5 hours. I told them he is our rural farm dog, and he's not used to strangers. Yet, they, the assistant and the vet both, tried to pet him without asking or warning us. He growled and gave a warning snap. I would have told them not to approach his head without him getting used to them. He's really sweet with our grandkids and people he knows. He needs to size up people before he trusts them. They really should have known better. After the first warning he gave them they asked me to put a muzzle on him. I did and he felt he was in trouble. They then took him away from me to a back room to give him shots, fecal test and blood test. I thought that was odd. About an hour later they came out and wanted me to buy sedatives for $50 and bring him back another time so they could finish drawing blood and do the fecal test. I offered to be with him to hold him and calm him down, but they said everyone was too stressed to continue. Really makes me wonder what they did to him in back room. My dog and I are very close and I'm sure he was terrified by their practices. They should have never take him from my side and they should have listened to me when I told them he is a rural farm dog. Won't be going back and I would advise anyone with a protective rural dog to avoid this place. They just don't get it.

I have been bringing my pets here for years, in Kent and Puyallup. The staff is always kind and professional and offer the best care! This was our first appointment since the start of COVID and we came for a wellness visit and vaccines. We were there almost 2 hours, about 20 of that actually receiving care/talking with someone. They were busy at the time but my appt was at 2 and my dog didn’t receive her vaccines until after 3:20, and that was after I went up to the front to check when she would receive them. On a positive note, I called close to closing time because my dog had a reaction (typical for her) and was able to get through and an answer from the vet within a few minutes. I have always appreciated and loved how much they care for our pets there but there seems to be a communication disconnect and overbooking issue right now. We will continue to go there because this was the only issue we’ve had through out the many years and I love the staff there. Thank you for great care to our pets!
