I don't know which other vet i would take my dog to if not Surrey animal hospital. EVERY ONE is ever ready to help. Would 100% recommend to every one who loves their animal

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU CARE FOR THEM. This place is only in it for the money and that's all.

I was young and naïve. I volunteered there and they were rude. It was always hot and smelled bad. They leave the animals in cages to urinate. They did not appreciate it when I bought coffee for them. One girl said she did not want cream. Another girl would not say hi. Always showing attitude. The doctor points with his foot to a rock for me to sweep the floors. The lady said "you've never worked before." Poor people always phone and say they have no money. She made me count the bags of food for no reason.

we always take our dog for vaccines etc . never had any bad experience , always problem solving & reasonable prices.

The current staff are amazing. They have been very helpful with caring for my dogs and rabbits. They would call me immediately after a procedure to update me on the situation. The prices are very reasonable, and all my pets have recovered within a week or two from their neutering /spaying surgeries.

Don't even deserve 1 star

Please avoid this place as the workers there do not treat the animals with respect. They treat animals by giving them unnecessary treatments to give them more profit. This exact "veterinarian" has his license taken away once and probably will happen again. Please look carefully at other 1 star reviews and see the constant comments of bad treatments to pets and to customers. It's unfortunate to see this many people scammed from this place. They take people's money when at the weakest point and treat the pet horribly. They should be closed for malpractice. I warn everyone who reads this... please consider another veterinarian.. And those who still go here... good luck, you'll need it.

This place saved my female Golden Retrievers life when she got a Uterus infection that went septic. Unfortunately we only had another two years with her before liver failure took her from us. Again at this final stage of life they were very professional and humane with our dog as well as with my wife and I.

I have used SAH over the years for different things and find the staff very friendly and the prices VERY reasonable. Not everyone can afford vet care as the majority of places out there cost an arm and a leg which in the end makes the animals suffer. I have always been able to get a quick turnaround time on appointments as well, not having to wait a week or more. More people should know about this place, even just to provide the basics with an annual exam.

why isnt this business shut down? so many people are saying they scam them and have even killed pets multiple times in these reviews. try to sue them

I walk by this clinic daily and they leave dogs outside behind the clinic UNATTENDED and UNLEASHED. The back area is not fenced and is a parking lot… They're left out for hours in all kinds of weather.

Donot recommend this place ,if you do love your pets.

this rude girl in the counter i went to get my cats nails trimmed and this woman told me to hold the cat so i did but my cat is sometimes moody and mad half of the time so i could tell she was moody and i couldn’t or else she will scratch me and the girl said yiur scared of your own cat ???? and just attitude the whole time they made me wait 15 mins and put my cat in the room and then after more then 15 mins this guy came and he cutted the nails he did way better then that girl ???? don’t take your cat here if you do then make sure to get it all done by the guy

If the College Of Veterinarians was worth ANYTHING this DEATH HOLE would have lost their licence several hundred independent formal complaints ago! Don't go unless you Want your family member murdered or lost!

You can easily tell which animal hospital is in it for the money and which one is actually filled with caring employees. This one is DEFINITELY in it for the money. Please please please avoid taking your pet here at all costs. They do not treat/ diagnose/ medicate your dog correctly and also lack basic communication skills. Please avoid this hospital. Do your research and find a vet that will genuinely care for your pet unless you want to pay for inadequate treatment.

I asked to open my puppy eyes with small cut on the side, they put small wire in both eyes to open, I was frustrated very upset asking them to remove it and get my money back, the wire scratch my puppy eyes it was bleeding, they refused to get ride of the wire and not giving me my money back, very bad service and bad attitude.

Dr. Peter and the Staff are Very Good!! I honestly do not understand some of the "miserable reviews"??? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Why? 1. There Diagnosis &Treatment are excellent. Dr. Peter is a Knowledgeable & Caring Veterinarian. 2. There Services are AFFORDABLE & FAIRLY PRICED!!! ie: We just took our cat "Isablella" (12 years) old for the following: Urinalysis $60, Blood Work $180, Radiograph/xray $150, Exam $20. This Clinic compared to others in the Lower Mainland has Affordable Pricing & Quality Health Care for my Pets.

Over priced for animal care. Like they do not care only for the money.

My dog had a dental surgery and they were able to take him in at short notice. My dog and I thank you for your wonderful care!

This is the worst vet. If you care for your pet, I suggest that you never set foot in the door.

Absolutely appalling experience for my friend at this vet. She took her dog for a routine spaying procedure. When she brought her dog back however it was clear that there were a few things wrong. The stitches were messy and actively secreting fluid. Further, her dog simply was not recovering, she was lethargic and unwell. After returning to Surrey Animal Hospital they vets insisted she was fine, and instead of running tests, or even trying to show they care they simply prescribed antibiotics and told her that there was nothing wrong. My friend then took her dog to another vet where they immediately recognized that there was an infection. They also did such a poor job with her stitches that her organs were not secured. When asked about this Surrey Animal Hospital refused to take any responsibility and tried to state that the other vet was trying to make them look bad. The dog is already doing much better 2 days after seeing the other vet. I would avoid this vet at all costs, as they seem clueless, unprofessional, and irresponsible.

My friend took her dog here for a normal spaying surgery. And they ended up doing more damage than intended. Did not stitch her up properly, her internal organs were coming out. When taking her back to the vet they would just say she’s fine and has no infection and just give antibiotics. Took to another vet and they found what was wrong she did end up having an infection and her internal organs were coming out. These guys don’t do there job well, refrain from going to this vet if you care about your pet.

I'm not one to bash a business, but I will if it is for the sake of a pet's health. This place is very business orientated and only cares about the money rather than the well being of your pet. When my cat was sick it took about 3 visits of them recommending ways to improve him which all cost very much. We took him to another vet and they figured out the problem after one visit and he was fine after a month with their recommendations. They don't follow covid regulations, not professional, and try to scam you of your money rather than try and help your pet.

Terrible job and worst vet ever , they only care about your money , not your pets , The only vet is an extremely rude old india guy , our cat need FelV shot , but he put indoor shot for our cat although both front desk and I clearly told him we are here for FelV shot , when I nicely told him that he put wrong shot , he got angry and yelled at me , what a terrible service ! if you want your pets suffer , then go to this vet !

This is an amazing vet. They are kind and the vet really seems to care about people. Our cat had a liver infection and they helped take care of everything. Our cat even took several swipes at the poor lady but she didn't mind at all. I couldn't recommend them highly enough for others. I'm not sure what the other bad reviews are about but I didn't see any evidence of what they complained about at all. The only con I might have is that one of the front staff members seems a bit... sedate at his job in that there's not a lot of enthusiasm in his affect. He still did his job fine but it came off a bit like he didn't care.

Atrocious staff and practice! The worst experience I have ever had and I will never ever return. They scam you out of your money and try to pretend to do more procedures just to try and take your money. I work in medical care and I understand the need for certain procedures and I was blatantly able to see their scam. They are so unprofessional that they yell at you in front of everyone and in front of all the other customers. please, for the well being of your pet and yourself, never take your animals here!

VERY bad negative experience. They ultimately ended up killing my cat. She was only 9 years old. :( Don't take your pet here if you can avoid it, or if you actually LOVE your pet. This vet only cares about cash $$$. They took X-Rays but he's such a bad vet that he couldn't interpret a simple chest/lung x-ray himself and he had to 'order out' for a report that cost us an extra $200. Don't go here, save your animals and go anywhere else! A regular qualified vet should be able to look at an x-ray and interpret it without consulting an external 3rd party service! This vet has previously been given penalties by the Vet boards and lost his license.
