The staff are very friendly. It was my kittens first visit and we were given samples of a few different things and a full bag of cat food for each!

Friendly, pet sensitive, good systems in place. On my visit, the wait was short. The procedure was done quickly and minimal stress to the pet. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

I usually do not write reviews, but I feel it necessary to write one for Guildford Animal Hospital. My cat Naya has had exceptional care from the doctors and staff at the hospital. From routine checkups to treating her bee stings and her most recent severe fever they have always been able to fit her in at the last minute and ensure that my long recounting of her symptoms and behaviors are carefully and empathetically listened to. Another assuring component of their care are the follow up calls to inquire about how Naya is doing. I have moved province but otherwise Naya would have continued to be a loyal patient. Thank you to the whole team. You made incredibly stressful moments bearable.

They took care of my puppy, Reese, really well and gave professional advice. I will recommend this Animal Clinic to all my friends.

We adopted a dog with very bad hip dysplasia when living out of province and weren’t sure who to see when we moved back to BC. Guildford Animal Hospital, and in particular Dr. Kathy, came highly recommended from a friend. We now drive over 30 minutes each way to see Dr. Kathy and it’s worth the trip - our dog loves her. He actually loves the entire staff and has even taken to whining to get out of the car so he can head inside with whatever lovely tech is taking him in for his appointment; a far cry from the dog that used to be terrified of his old vet. Nothing is ever pushed on us that we don’t need (and let’s be honest, going to the vet for even a simple checkup isn’t low cost) and Dr. Kathy always works with us to find the best solution for our boy and genuinely cares about him. I cannot recommend Guildford Animal Hospital enough. Everyone there feels like they’re doing what they’re meant to be doing for a living and it’s evident in their interactions with both us and our dog.

best vet clinic ever:) i took my cat there due to an health emergency and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment the day after i called them! they were very nice; my cat is a bit shy but she seemed quite happy coming out after having a few tests done on her and a checkup. when my cat had some vomiting a week after her visit, they were able to again squeeze a check up the same day i called them. i highly recommend coming here as they are super accommodating. pepsi has been doing great ever since her checkups here!

My friend used to take her cat to this clinic when Dr. Lisa misdiagnosed her with demodicosis and prescribed her advantage multi which she never should have as there are many better and less toxic treatments for this parasite available. My friend spent thousands at this clinic and her cat would not get better. Multiple times when I visited, her cat would be in extreme discomfort and visibly ill ie. vomiting. None of the medications given to her (advantage multi was only one in what seemed like hundreds) were working. They would always tell me they didnt know what was wrong with her and that they had spent thousands at this clinic trying to find out how to help her. The clinic never gave them a straight answer as to why she was not getting better but would make her come back weekly. Ultimately, all that needed to be done was to switch Rosey to a raw diet (the vet had switched her food at one point to try and sell their in store products)as a raw diet is biologically appropriate for cats. Within 1 week their cat was back to being healthy and playful. This was a very easy fix and had the vet wanted to actually care for animals she would have told them this to begin with instead of grabbing all their money. My friend has called the clinic multiple times to try and return one of the medicines (advantage multi) to no avail. Stay away from this clinic as they are just a money grab. Response: You’re welcome for leaving this review, I hope everyone reads it before they decide to come to your clinic. I am not sure what medical inaccuracies or factual inaccuracies you are speaking about. Bottom line is when she was visiting this clinic she was very ill and medicated with medicine she did not need and the minute she was switched to a raw diet she was healthy again. Rosie was misdiagnosed and was given incorrect medicine. Had a human been misdiagnosed and given incorrect medicine the doctor would lose their license. I’m not sure why this not being my pet and me not having visited this clinic has anything to do with her misdiagnosis. It’s simple, had the Dr. switched her to a raw diet Rosie would’ve been happy, healthy and my friend wouldn’t have spent as much money as she did. She didn’t need any of the medicine and she definitely didn’t need the kibble you sold to her. My pet has been on a raw diet for the past 10 years, per our veterinarians advice, and has never needed any kind of medication EVER. My friend trusted you with her cat and she was not taken care of. Often times she was ready to give up Rosie because she couldn’t afford the medicine anymore, only to find out there was nothing wrong with her to begin with. As far as her calling your clinic and speaking to the Dr. to clear things up, she was trying to. Dr. Lisa wouldn’t return her calls for weeks. And then when she finally did she said she would “try” to have the medicine returned only to go ghost for months until my friend finally called again and you once again said there’s nothing you could do. Don’t tell people to reach out to the clinic under the pretence that you’ll “help” them or clear up any issues when all you do is run and hide. Had we been able to actually reach out to you we wouldn’t be writing these reviews and warning everyone else about this clinic. Anyways, this post wasn’t even for you, it’s for the rest of your patients. If anyone is interested in putting their pet on a biologically appropriate diet you can reach out to True carnivores or Dr. Karen Becker or you can visit Kayla Kowalski nutrition on Google. They have many appropriate meals for your pets available. Raw diets for your pets can boost immunity, improve gut health, reduce tartar buildup and allergies, create shiny coats and, most importantly, increase their lifespan. Lastly, we’re all really happy Rosie is doing much better and it’s no thanks to Guildford Animal Hospital.

GO TO FRASER HEIGHTS ANIMAL HOSPITAL. BETTER SERVICE, BETTER TREATMENT AND WAY WAY WAY MORE REASONABLE PRICING FOR CARE FOR YOUR ANIMAL. CHECK OUT THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE GETTING RIPPED OFF BY THIS VET! Wow I can't believe how terribly I was just treated by the dr. I've never been talked down to or disrespected by a place of business like this ever. He threw me and my two-and-a-half-year-old son out of the establishment because I would not agree to pay for an exam that was not done. I took my cat to have a checkup and she's too mean to do an exam without sedation. I told the doctor that I didn't feel what he was charging me for was completed because he could not examine her oral health or take her temperature and that the full exam was not done. I was willing to pay for what he did complete but he told me to get out never come back and if I want to go to some cheap animal hospital to go to another one down the road and that he is sending me to collections. They wanted me to pay $500 for further testing and would not guarantee I would have any results. They also said I could pay $1,200 to have a small growth removed which he didn't specify any medical advice on. This place feels like a complete money-grab and the doctor showed his true colors when I wasn't up for spending his suggested $500 on blood work. If he is the business owner, this business will not be in service for much longer with that type of customer service. Do not take your pet here for anyting the guy is literally charging you for things that are not done. I never write negative reviews ever. Look at my profile and you will see I utilize this to help businesses not knock them down. Being self-employed I understand how reviews can affect the public view and in this case I don't want anyone else to have to go through what me and my son just have gone through. What an embarassment. UPDATE: after my experience at Guildford Animal Hospital I took my cat to Fraser Heights Animal Hospital. My cat was mad and not cooperating however the doctor decided to wrap her in a towel and take some fluid from the growth on her body. She was quite knowledgeable and believed it is important to do everything possible without sedating an animal. She gave me her Professional Medical opinion on the growth. Determined it was a cyst that likely would not cause any harm to my cat. She gave me the option to have it removed. We decided to go forward with getting her blood work done and completing a proper exam under sedation. If I wanted to also remove the cyst the total bill was $550 which also included the cost of the exam and the blood work and sedation. For the exact same Medical work up my quote from Guildford Animal Hospital was $1,200. How can one vet charge so much more? Likely because they add things to the invoice such as a $33 per day charge for your animal to be in their care. Imagine taking your car into a shop to be fixed and they charge you to keep it on their property while they work on it. Quite a rip off if you ask me. The biggest complaint or surprise I had from the Guildford Animal Hospital is that when I came home from work today the SPCA had stopped by my home to respond to a formal complaint that was made by a vet clinic. The Guildford Animal Hospital complained that I was refusing veterinary care for my pet. When the constable from the SPCA met my cat Bella she realized how loved she must be considering she's groomed and has already seen another vet since my terrible experience at Guildford Animal Hospital. The Guildford Animal Hospital is a money-grabbing terrible place of business. If they think because I refuse to pay $62 for an exam they never completed they can try to involve the SPCA to take my pet away they are mistaken. My next step in all of this is to contact Global News. If you have read the entirety of my review your best bet is to go to Fraser Heights Animal Hospital where the care is incredible knowledgeable and Fair.

Called with a question regarding our dog, receptionist on phone was very dismissive and seemed like she was in hurry to end the conversation. I am surprised at how unhelpful this place was. Very disappointing.

Just a word about the receptionist on Sunday, March 21, 2021 @ 11:40 a.m.. Quite rude. I just about lost it and called another clinic. Very snotty. Care and the vets are fantastic, just that one spoiled my opinion slightly today.

My dog is 8 years old and has kidney disease. The Vets here are amazing, and all the staff are kind to the animals. I feel that my baby is in very competent hands.

I love this place because they always follow up with you, so you never forget to bring your fur baby in for things like their yearly shots, etc. Or they'll call you a few days after your appt and to see how my dog is doing. It's the little things. I 100% trust my baby's health with them.

Our dog got misdiagnosed here (proved when we went to another hospital) and eventually received over-treatment for it. It was very unprofessional of all the doctors to just neglect the problem and never admit the misdiagnosis. Don't go here; save your time and money.

Charged me for things that were so unrealavent. The female doctor there has an attitude and was being so rude on the phone. My poor cat was shaking after the exam because they handled my cat so aggressively. They started saying my cat isn’t cooperating and saying my cat is one of the hardest they handled? My cat has been to many vets and my cat was just fine. He gets a lot of cuddles and affection at home. They over stressed my cat out. Never coming again i never want to hear that rude lady again.

I honestly do not even know where to start. This vet has taken care of my little furbaby since he was just a little guy. ???????? Unfortunately, my cat Dash had a noticible heart murmur right from the first visit. It was later determined that he has a heart defect and needed to be on 2 medications. It broke my heart to know my little guy was sick.. let alone wonder how long we have with him. Guildford animal hospital has not only taken care of Dash but they have also taken care of me (lots of tears this past year). Everyone is so unbelievably kind and compassionate and I know each time Dash goes for a visit he’s well taken care of. Dr. Rubenstein has been amazing and his knowledge is like no other. I highly recommend GAH and would never take Dash or any of my future pets anywhere else. If you want a vet that actually cares about your animal this is the place to be. ♥️
