We could not ask for a better vet. We have a special needs bulldog and the staff at Wandermere has gone above and beyond for our bulldog. All of our dogs really. Dr Moore and Heather and staff are the only ones we trust or precious bulldog and two bostons with.

The only vet/hospital my girls have ever been to, staff and doctors are very knowledgeable, all 3 dogs go in tail wagging, weird I know. They are the best!

Because I've moved around a bit, I've had several different vets for my dogs — and Dr. Moore is far and away the best one I've ever had. She genuinely cares about them and their wellbeing/quality of life, and she's SO good about responding to questions, concerns, etc. The best vet I've ever been to, hands-down.

Friendly staff, treat your animals amazing. They explain everything to when it comes to your pets care and the best route to go. Been taking my babies there for over 5 years. They might not be cheap but the care is worth every penny.

I had to put my dog down so I was an emotional wreck. They were very kind and sympathetic. Made the experience easier to get through. Even sent a personalized card afterward. Very caring people.

I had a terrible experience and I hope its not the norm for this establishment. I was trying to get my kitten spayed, they were not clear in how they schedule for a check up a week before the surgery so I had to reschedule. I was never given the estimate of cost until I arrived the morning of my rescheduled appointment. They also tried to reschedule my rescheduled appointment that very same morning. If you choose this clinic make sure you are prepared to ask all of the questions and them some so that your expectation dont become as shattered as mine were.

I brought my puppy there because it was the closest animal hospital, they have covid regulations right now so we had to call when we got there (understandable), but when we called i told her my dog was bleeding a lot, it was an emergency and he had lost a lot of blood already, she told me i had to be put on hold, then hung up on me. I wasn’t sure what to do so i waited, I called again when my dog was howling in pain, and she said “hopefully we can get someone out there in a little” i asked how long it would be, and she just kept saying “hopefully in a little”. I could see in the front window, she kept pointing at me and talking to the other person at the desk, but no one was coming out for my dog, after awhile of that we drove a block down the street to the Fairwood Animal Hospital instead and they got us in the doors as soon as we pulled up, they saved my dogs life. They also gave us cleaning wipes and spray to clean the blood from my car while we waited. They had amazing staff there too. Overall i’d say if you have an emergency don’t waste your pets time here, go the extra block to Fairwood !!!

I've taken our family dog here for 12 years and our cat prior. They always take great care of her and make her as comfortable as a dog could be inside of a vet.

They actually care about you, your animal and your wallet. Only do what has to be done, won't suggest what isn't necessary. And they feel like home. Worth every penny!

These guys are awesome and super friendly! It's usually very easy to get an appointment within a day, sometimes the day of, which is really nice. I just want to say Dr.Shaw has been absolutely amazing!

Dr Moore is one of the kindest women I have ever met. When we had to put our 14 yo dog down, Dr Moore was down on the floor crying with me as we said our goodbyes. She's wonderful!

They are actually there for your pet. Other offices I have been to, I feel as if they are only there for the money. Wandermere Animal Hospital was great in each area. The front desk, the veterinarian, and the tech were wonderful with my dog. All so inviting for me and most importantly my pup. He LOVED it. Would recommend this place for sure.

After many years of taking my animals here, when I came home in the early afternoon to find my cat struggling to breath, Wandermere was the first place I called. I was asked by the receptionist why I had called them, were they truly the closest clinic to me? I explained that I had called them as they were my regular vet and knew my pets, and I thought if anyone would squeeze us in, that my regular vet was more likely than a clinic I had never been to before. To which I was callously told that I could not be seen that day and would need to find somewhere else to take my cat. Long story short, he ended up needing to be put down, and the added stress of struggling to find a place that could get us in made what was already one of the worst days of my life even more horrible. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I will be finding a veterinary clinic who will see my animals whenever they need to be seen, even if it is an emergency. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. In light of the disingenuous response by WAH, I feel obligated to update this review. Before I get into my response, I want to state that I voiced my concerns directly to WAH and received no response. It was not until I wrote a public review that I received any kind of response. Now to respond. First, let's be clear. Telling someone to call around and try and get in to a different clinic somewhere else is in no way “referring” that client anywhere. Sure, if they had called ahead to another clinic for me and sent me directly there, then it would have been different. But that is not what happened. They told me I would have to call places to find somewhere that could see me. Yes, they did offer to give me the names of some other clinics that "might" be able to see me, but I would still have to call around to find out. Thanks for nothing. Second, trying to spin this as worrying about my cat's well-being is nonsense. The truth is that they did not want the inconvenience to their schedule of trying to squeeze him in. I could have loaded him in my car and reached WAH in 20 minutes. But by having to take time to call around to other clinics, and then once I did find one that would/could get me in, to have to drive to that clinic which was at least as far from me as WAH took more than an hour. And all the time that I was trying to find a vet that would see us, I was having to watch him struggle to breath. I will never forget that, and never get over knowing that it didn't have to be that way. That my poor kitty suffered for more than 40 minutes more than he should have had to suffer. That if they had not refused to see him he could have been getting help before I had even found another place to take him. I fail to see how that could possibly have been in my cat's best interests. Unless someone lives extremely far from WAH, I fail to see any reality where refusing to see someone's animal and leaving that person to search for alternative care could possibly be what is best for that animal. Not to mention that, while many clinics (though apparently not WAH) will find ways to work a client's cat into a busy day, they will not do so for a non-client. Plus, WAH is the place that knows my cat and his history. Let's not forget that fact either. At least he was on oxygen at that point, but the clinic I took him to had to wait for his records and try and get up to speed. Another unnecessary delay. The truth is that yes, that 40 minutes did not change the outcome for my kitty. However, it did change the experience for both of us. WAH turned one of the worst days of my life into a living nightmare. There is no way to justify this. They can try to claim that they were just looking out for my cat, but if that was true they would have seen him. Please do what is best for your animals and go to another clinic. I hope no other client ever has to go through the misery that WAH put me through.

I called to make an appointment for my 2 dogs and the reception was extremely rude. I had some questions for her before making an appointment and she hung up on me. She asked me why I wanted to make appointment for 2 dogs if only one is sick. I told her that we just moved to WA and wanted for both of them to be checked out since we don’t know what the shot regulations are for this state. I’m never going there even if it’s life or death situation.

I've been a client here for about 4 years. This clinic and Dr. Moore were highly recommended by another vet when I needed a new primary care clinic. My pets (5 in total) have always been treated compassionately here. What impresses me the most is that they use available online resources to assist them or confirm a diagnosis/treatment and share this info freely. In addition the techs here are also top-notch.

I wouldn't go anywhere else with my dog. They all, the doctors, the vet techs, the receptionists, everyone is kind and caring. Chloe has congenital kidney problems with many emergencies. They have always been there and jumped into action. Dr Moore just saved my little dogs eyesight with a progressive treatment, a leap of faith and with working with the animal eye clinic. She has gone above and beyond for us, with Dr McCorkle right by her side. We are blessed and very grateful.
