This place will be visited often here on out for my dogs eye care needs. Had to drive about 3 hrs to get here and 3 back but worth it if my boys vision can be saved. It was wet and snowy when we arrived. But was lucky to find a parking stall in their very, very small parking lot right by the front door. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile by (one) front desk staff member. One friendly smile is better than none. When I got there, there were three other patients and we were 15 minutes early, yet, those three were seen and four others came in (after) us and they were seen before we finally got seen. So even though we got there 15 minutes early we were left sitting for an hour. Over booking? Not sure but I didn't appreciate being seen last. I'm not a "Karen", didn't whine, yell, demand our complain because I was just grateful we got there safely and on time. But still did not appreciate being made to wait an hour. I do expect to be seen close to the time my appointment was scheduled for which took over a month for my boy could be seen. A whole month of more deterioration to his eyes. Probably all the dogs there had to wait over a month to be seen. I realize we aren't special. What I do not understand is why even those who arrived after us got seen before us. And quickly. Four of them with an average of 15 minutes each in the exam room left us waiting an hour. I really find it hard to believe they overbooked four before us when they arrived later than us. Our appointment was for 1030a., but people arrived at 1045a, 1100a etc and got seen before us even though we arrived at 1015a for our 1030a appointment, see what I mean? How is that right or justified? So, first visit was not all that great, or left me feeling positive. And, there is no cure for my boys eyes. We are due back in Spring so we'll see how that goes. I may not be so dosel if we're 'over-looked' again. The doc who saw my boy was alright, his assistant was very nice.

Animal Eye Clinic has always been our referral place for ophthalmology emergencies, eye diseases. The Doctors and staff are very communicative, and although they are busy, they will take the time to listen and discuss cases. Dr Riesberg did a double phaco for our yorkie. 1.5 years later our pup is still able to play again (would never guess she is 13 years old). Dr Riesberg is always kind with the animals and their parents - you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals.

This place is amazing, not only did they make my blind dog see again, but they truly care about every animal that comes through the door. The Dr that did my dogs surgery has called me several times just to make sure I had all the details and care instructions or just to check on him. The gals up front are also extremely kind and went out of their way to help me with driving directions when my phone died and helping me find a hotel that was dog friendly. I don't think I've ever had this level of service at any vets office, EVER!

So far they have been very helpful in the ulcers our 15 year old Pomeranian has gotten on his eye. I had zero complaints until recently one of the front desk staff was a little rude to my wife when she took our dog in for his follow up. Their parking lot is extremely small, and access to the back lot in confusing if you’ve never been. My wife had to find street parking and immediately upon entering she was lambasted for not “calling ahead to let them know she was checking in before coming into the building.” They have signs that ask you to call in their tiny little front lot, but if you can’t get a spot there you would have no way of known. It sounds like they eventually apologized to my wife, but nonetheless you can’t expect everyone to just know that’s the case.

Very friendly, helped me with my many questions. My cat can now see when before he was blind in one eye. Very grateful to have them.

Friendly and caring staff located on a beautiful campus. Once you figure out the parking, it's nice to walk around with you pet while waiting. I've traveled several hours to this clinic for my dog many times and I highly recommend them. ????

Very caring staff even though they are extremely busy! Hopefully the treatment they have prescribed will help my foster pup regain and retain his vision so he can be adopted by his furrever family.

The Spokane Animal Eye Clinic has some great people working for them. They seem to have things running efficiently. Directions to enter the parking lot off of Sherman would be beneficial.

Very happy with the outcome of our girl's surgery. Only complaint is their greed for $. You'd expect that if you're paying 1300 for a surgery, they'd let you make a payment plan but they require all up front. This was not disclosed until I called to make the deposit.

Today my dog had eye surgery. It is my 3rd time here. The girl that came out with my paperwork was super nice. Im hoping the procedure works, so far so good. Not much for parking, and its really easy to miss, cause not much for signage, but we made it. Id go here again, and recommend it to others. If there is one thing I truly dont care for, its the blonde girl at the front desk. Both times I have encountered her, she has been kinda rude. I wont go into detail, but she could learn to be a little nicer to the people trusting their kids to them. Ill raise my 3 star to a 4.
