My daughter and I have been helping out and doing service at Partners for Pets for several weeks now. I have never seen a group so caring and passionate about the welfare of the animals in their care. They do a wonderful helping to socialize and prepare unfortunate and mistreated cats for placement in a new home. A great group of people and a great cause.

We got a cat from them and love him however they need to allow these cats to be social with people when they come into the establishment. When we came into this place, they advised us not to touch or pick up the cats. How does one expect a cat to be social towards any adopter when they can't be held or touched. Also, the original owner of my cat sent numerous emails asking for an update on him, photos and also a house visit. We declined as this was an odd request.

I adopted a kitty from here 14 years ago. He passed away this past week. I have some of his food left. Unopened cans and an open bag of Science diet. Quality food to donate but no one can be bothered getting back to me. Frustrating as I am trying to support this facility and help the animals out. Common courtesy is to respond with an answer.

I went to Petsmart which they provide kittens/cats to adopt there and we found one we loved! We have two girls 5/3 and we were getting ready to adopt but was told we can only have that kitten if we had or get another one. We planned on that already so they made us an appointment at partners for pets. We get to the store and we were basically told every reason why the cat won’t fit our home even though my girls were petting another kitten for 10 minutes. Jill Miller came into the store who was the foster parent of the kitten we wanted and she literally was saying from the start that kitten wasn’t for us. My girls woke up that morning wanting one and we have found one but we were talked out of it because she said we weren’t the right fit for the kitten! They are so unprofessional and left my girls crying leaving the store because all they wanted was a kitten! The only thing they were worried about was the kitten didn’t always like to be held but my girls were petting and playing with the kitten at petsmart plus petting and loving on another kitten at partners for pets because remember to adopt the first one we HAD to get another one but they didn’t want us to even get any of them! So thank you for leaving me with two sweet loving girls without a kitten even though they loved them! Worst experience ever so thank you for the sad day for my girls and family!

NON KILL SHELTER. Friendly Staff & I Got Both These Adorable Babies From There, This Year. I Love How They Let The Kitties Roam Around.

These folks aren't trying to find loving homes.they have an unreal ideology for what's best for the wellbeing of cats.I don't recommend them and will never donate to them.

We just adopted two kittens from here and the process was so easy. I love that you get to see the cats walking around the place.

I love Partners for Pets so much, I love going there to play with the silly adorable kitties. When I was 8 I got surprised with a cute little kittie and my parents wanted it so badly but said if it is still here next week, we will get it, and my kittie was there the next week my parents say it was a miracle. Boo is our little bundle of joy and I can thank Partners for Pets for her!

If you like cats, you have to go in. Closed because of COVID-19, but you can call fir an appointment to see the cats that are for adoption. All ages, colors and personalities.

My son and I would occasionally stop by here to meet and play with the kitties. At one point, about a year ago, I was considering adopting a cat. I went in there by myself and explained I was thinking about getting a cat for the family, kind of like a Christmas present for my then 7 year old son. The lady didn’t like the sound of that and basically verbally denied me. Fast forward to this past summer - we adopted a young cat from Scraps. My son is great with her! He plays with her all the time, gives her her second meal of the day, and cleans her litter box daily! It’s too bad this lady likes to stereotype children, as well as whatever else she didn’t like about our scenario. I imagine this has to happen often with her, which is unfortunate for the kitties there. ????

Very clean, cats are happy, running around and playing. We adopted a young cat who is well adjusted. Really a great place to go if you are looking to adopt a cat or kitten.

First off I’m not a huge cat or pet fan in general, but this place is actually super clean and quite scent free from what I would’ve expected. Tons of super cute and sweet cats and the people were really nice. Awesome place to go for a cat or for fun.

I am blown away by Partners for Pets. They greatly value the responsibility of pet ownership and pet care. The application process is tough compared to other shelters. That process is important and valuable to ensure pets don't end up back on the street or in a bad home. They insist on all their pets being spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for common health problems, and vaccinated. Then you walk in the door and see the most unusual shelter experience. Most of the cats are spread out and free from cages. They are just lounging around everywhere. It is by far the most welcoming shelter I have ever seen. The folks there obviously care about the cats and them going to good homes.

I had come here searching for a kitten and was told, after playing with a kitten that didn't seem to care whether it had other felines around it or not, that it was mandatory that kittens be taken in pairs. So sadly, a kitten was denied a warm, loving, and financially stable home that day :(

Filled out paper work to adopt a cat and was denied because I do not already have a cat ????. Me:How am I supposed to get a cat to have if you won’t let me adopt one!? Lady: I don’t know. The foster mom just said no because this cat needs a playmate and your too busy. WTF! I had just filled out the paper work about how my family and I are finically stable and I’m pretty much home all the time and I have a kid who is looking forward to having his first pet. Maybe she couldn’t read. Anyway, I turned to craigslist, found a beautiful kitty for 40 bucks, got him fixed and all of his shots taken care of and he’s the most spoiled cat ever. Lesson learned with that establishment...

Here at Partners for pets they put the cats first. They tell their volunteers that they are allowed to ask a person to leave the store if they're irritating the cats and kittens, and there's a policy where if a cat is under 4 months of age, you must get a second kitten. Once they hit 4 months, which isn't that old, you can adopt a single cat. Just a couple weeks ago, I adopted from petsmart through the partners for pets and got two kittens, brother and sister. I loved them both but grew extremely attached to the boy, which I named Diamond. Unfortunately, the sister, Piper we called her, was not very clean with her litterbox and cats don't grow out of litterbox habits. We had to return them and found out that we had to go to the actual partners for pets facility so I had a chance to scope out a possible future adoption of a 4 month old. I fell in love with the place, it was such a healthy environment, the people seemed understanding about the challenges with our kittens and I immediately volunteered to help out. My kitten Diamond is still there and he'll turn 4 months in about 22 days, so I'm also hoping to adopt him again, but only him.

Partners For Pets provides a loving and stimulating home for the cats while they are waiting to be adopted. All of the cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption. In addition, Partners for Pets is a no kill adoption center that makes a lifetime commitment to each cat they rescue from other regional shelters. It is a fun place to visit even if you aren't ready to adopt!

Cares more about policy than they do about finding their cats good homes. VERY strict adoption rules, so beware.

Clean, friendly, obviously well take of cats, smelled clean, no dirty kitty litter odor. We immediately sponsored 3 cats. We bring our grandson weekly to visit the cats. ????

A great place to find a new kitty and take home. They have a heart and love all the cats that are there. Would highly recommend them for cat adoption ????

We recently adopted Clarabelle, she’s 8 and lovely as can be. She was at Partners for Pets since May, because she was a bit reserved and didn’t love being around other cats. However, she was so well cared for and socialized, after bringing her home she was interacting with us within 10 minutes after her initial hiding under the bed. We love her, and will take excellent care of her ! ????

I love this place, they neutered both our cat and dog. They do limited veterinary services as well. The staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The low cost makes it much more affordable for folks who might be struggling to make ends meet
