We brought our girl Nala in this morning to be put to sleep. They got her in promptly and we were greeted with nothing but kindness during this very difficult time. We are very grateful for you all, thank you.

We love Dr. Hurtado and his team. They are ALL very sweet, kind, patient and explain things very thoroughly. This is by far the best veterinary clinic we have worked with ever — and we have been to many over the years. The pricing is also pretty reasonable and fair for the 5 star services that they provide.

I have mixed feelings about this place the care my pets get seem great... making me sit in the parking lot for 45 minutes when they said they'd be right out is not so wonderful. The parkland location is even worse for that... i stopped going there cause a 2 hour wait in December in my car was unacceptable

Miss one if the doctors who left to the Gig Harbor location. Seemed to butt heads with the Dr who taken over Gizmo but I think he finally respects me as a pet parent amd I respect his thourghness . Pugs can be tricky... but overall am very happy with everyone that works there and how my pets and I re both treated. Wittles my 17 year old Tabby, can be hard to warm up to but she never gives them trouble.

I had a horrible experience at this Vet Clinic... My Husband and I took our Poodle of 16 years there because she had a large tooth that fell out. So we immediately took her to this Clinic for emergency help for the pain and some antibiotics. When we walked in the receptionist was coming from the back she said they were right in middle of a euthanization... I explained my dog’s situation and she placed us in an exam room and we waited almost an hour to be seen by the Vet... During that time I was practically begging them to please check out my dog... When she finally did come to exam room I specifically told her ( Dr. Dahl) that my dog’s tooth fell out shortly before we came in there...that was the ONLY reason we brought her in there is for pain medication and antibiotics...The vet didn’t even address the tooth issue at all. She looked at our dog and immediately diagnosed her with pyrometra which is a uterus infection in female dogs that aren’t spayed and that had multiple litters or false pregnancies... My dog was a virgin..... She focused only on euthanization the whole time there.... After adamantly reassuring her diagnosis was correct just by looking at my dog nothing more than just a quick look at her, with no tests to back up her diagnosis. I was passed back and forth between Vet and Assistant trying to persuade me that putting her down was the best option that she was going to die that night anyway.... I continued to refuse euthanization completely... I told her I was not going to euthanize my dog... Eventually she broke us down and convinced us that was the best thing for our dog was to end her life... Hysterical I said my goodbyes to my dog and they immediately took her to the back without even giving us the option to be with her while this took place. It was not even 5 minutes later when the assistant came back out and said we can drive around to the back door and pick her up she is ready.... We put our dog in the backseat of our car in the cardboard box that they put her in, we were about 4 miles down the road or so when we started to hear her convulsing in the box... There was loud whining and multiple banging noises coming from the box.... We immediately pulled over in a panic to look in the box and when we did we seen and heard very loudly painful whimpering and ALL the air come out of our beloved dog right in front of our eyes... We were devastated.... We then continued to drive home still hearing those same noises from the box... I cried and cried the whole way home.... We get home and I immediately looked up the diagnosis that the Vet was “sure she had “ with my Biscuit Girl (My Dog) right next to me in the box and that is when I found out my Dog didn’t even have ONE symptom for Pyrometra and knowing it was too late she had already passed away was more than heartbreaking... I was completely crushed to find out that she was wrongfully diagnosed 100% and that completely crushed me.....she was put to sleep for nothing more than the loss of her tooth.... The pain I feel is extreme over this.... I would not recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone...

3 weeks to get a phone call to schedule an appointment. Then at least 3 weeks wait for the appointment date. And no you can't talk to anyone about it.

Came here with an emergency, my dog broke his toe nail and was bleeding. They were completely booked but still managed to squeeze him in immediately. Everyone in the office was extremely kind to both my dog and myself. My dog is feeling better and my anxiety has reduced greatly. Thank you for caring and going that extra mile for your customer.

I never ended up going to my appointment. I called this one to schedule an ultra sound. Asked for a price estimate, the lady couldn't tell me so she said shed call back. Never heard back so I called. They made the appointment but didnt have a vet to actually perform the ultrasound ????‍♀️ they had me call the other vca on 512 made the appointment to be put on hold when I asked the price and was informed then that again they didnt have a vet to perform the ultra sound. So why make 2 appointments at 2 different facilities only to be told they cant do their jobs? Horrible customer service and horrible training.

We got a call last night that our cat that has been missing for 9 months had been found. We were sure one of our near by neighbors had him. Sadly our cat is sick an has an abscess an sadly the people who had him didn't take care of him an just dumbed him off. We are so greatful that they scanned his microchip and called us Immediately. We have never stopped looking for him an we are so thankful for VCA hospital for their help an reunited our family with our baby. We would like to put these pieces together an find out who the person is who just dropped him off.
