I called in today to see about having you see my pet. I would have been a new customer, but not after the abrupt call I experienced. You are literally down the road from where I just moved and was hoping to have you as a vet, but I am now willing more than ever to continue going to downtown Tacoma for our regular vet. I understand that your staff may be overwhelmed with the situation at hand with Covid, under staffing and the like, but there's always a moment to take pause and realize what someone is truly calling into you for. I would give you zero stars for the interaction if I could.

They are all so FANTASTIC & treat our Oscar with the best of care. Dr. Strauss is THE BEST!!! So blessed to partner with them for Oscar's care.

We have been taking our animals here for quite a few years. We unfortunately had to lay our rescue fur baby Jake to rest yesterday after 13 years. We decided outdoors would be a more peaceful way for us to say our final goodbyes. The most aweful thing I have ever experienced happened after his passing. An assistant came out with a black trash bag. I was mortified. My heart sank. Instead of carrying him inside wrapped in the comforter we had, my family had to see a trash bag being brought out. Disgusting to say the least. I will forever be devastated and we will no longer take our pets here. Do better Tahoma Veterinary Hospital. I hope no other pet owner or family has to experience what we did.

I took my bunny, Charlie, here to get neutered and I was a little nervous because he's never had any type of surgical procedure. My concern immediately dissolved when I spoke to the staff. They are amazing! I was kept informed throughout the day and when I picked him up, he was still out of it from the anesthesia, so they took him back and cared for him for an additional 45 minutes, until they felt comfortable releasing him to me. I am so thankful that there are people in this world that care about animals as much as I do, and it truly shows at Tahoma Veterinary Hospital.

I had been a customer of Tahoma Vet Hospital prior and was not happy with only the front desk, but it has been a couple years. They are very close to my home and I know the vet's here are great at what they do. Knowing this, I gave them a call and I had a great visit with my pup-a-roni Maggie Mae. I loved the vet and the front desk. Service was great and they didn't do anything extra to add to the bill. Honest with great service and care. Thank you Tahoma Veterinary Hospital. I will be back!

Olive one of our mini Aussies was very sick recently with severe GI upset and dehydration. They worked her in and did a fabulous job in treating her. We love the staff here and appreciate the outstanding treatment our pets always receive here.

We’ve utilized this office for a few goat emergencies over the years and they are always responsive, caring and help get everyone back in shape. Our most recent mishap involved a couple of our herd having to stay multiple days and it was so fun having the techs and vet always talk about how sweet they were and how much they enjoyed having them. We will continue to use them for routine care and feel great knowing they are there should we have more emergencies.

Being a rescue group its very hard finding a vet and clinic who can help out, because we get so many animals it can be overwhelming, tahoma vet has been amazing all there doctors and staff accepted us,Done amazing job with every animal that we've brought to them.when you step inside there clinic your treated like family. We highly recommend them and are very blessed they are helping Purrr rescue :)

I love this Veterinary office. They took in my dog as an emergency patient when my old veterinarian didn't have the time. I guess having saved my beach born puppy was not enough to merit another emergency. So Tahoma took good care of her.

I visited this office about 3 weeks ago. At first they seemed very nice.. they said they would reach back out once my dogs test results were back. (They said 2-3 days) They did not do so. I followed up about 5 days after my visit and they said they did not have my number on file and when someone was available to talk they would call back. They did not return my call again and I had to call back yet again just to find out they said they had my number on file all along ( new and old phone number) . And promised they would call back today before they closed. And Again I received no call back. This is very unprofessional and I would not recommend this veterinarian hospital because of their lack of communication

The staff here are wonderful with my pup and two cats but they also treat all other kinds of animals as well. In fact, the last visit there was the biggest goat I've ever seen! We've also been able to get telehealth and prescriptions for a couple of different issues without having to bring our pets in. That is the kind of service that makes Tahoma Vet stand out.

As far as I'm concerned this place is the only place now that I would take any of my animals to. They are kind gentle and truly concerned about what they do. And all of them seem to enjoy their job which really makes it a blessing. I have six other clients that I work for that use them as well. We all say the same thing this place rocks.!

I switched to Tahoma veterinary hospital after I tried to make an appointment at the previous vet turned out their computers were down they took my number and they never called me back. So, I got recommend to Tahoma and have no regrets. The care has been top-notch every time.

I went there 2 days ago and they did nothing but have all respect for me and I'll take all the rest of my animals there for now on
