Our pets have been long-time patients of Dr Thomazin, and more recently with the entire staff at Salish. We don't live in the area, but are more than happy to make the trip for the amazing care we receive. We highly recommend Salish Vet Hospital!

If you're looking for great customer service, caring docs that take time with your fur baby and integrate holistic care with western medicine, this is your place! We have a young pup in the puppy program to get her off to the right start and an elder pup with a heart murmur, nerve issues and arthritis. They take their time to consider all angles for treatment and don't push unnecessary expensive treatments.

Receptionist couldn't actively listen to what I was saying. They couldn't simply provide an emergency medication as I'm traveling even if I had my vet send over a prescription. Vets that can't handle a simple request shouldn't be in business. They probably just wanted me to pay for a full consultation exam just to allow me to buy the medication.

They told me that the puppies were not ready to be born, they asked me to go back in 10 days for one more X-ray but according to my math that would have put me 10 days over the 62 day. If I would have have them do the c-section then I would have lost the litter and even my dog!!!!! we went some we’re else and had 6 healthy puppies. I would never trust them and I regret spending my money at that clinic

I have a new puppy that was having some issues. No other vet could get us in right away but Salish Vet did! The staff was helpful and kind. They gave me updates and explained everything in detail. Very affordable price compared to some other vets. I brought home a happy pup! We will definitely be going to them from now on!

Salish Vet is always wonderful! They have overly pleasant doctors, assistants and employees overall. My pups are 15 and 16 years old... Salish Vet Hospital has ALWAYS been there when I needed anything; whether it be a scheduled visit, an emergency visit, or even just a phone call to give advise or calm my worries. My pups are not going to be with me forever, and with the way everyone at Salish vet cares about these fur babies and their owners, I couldn't imagine sending them over the rainbow, anywhere else.

We were delighted by the quality of care that Willow received. The only small issue was that after the nail trim we were told she received, her nails were still very sharp. This is a tiny matter. Everyone treated us very well. Willow was happy and comfortable. Thank you!

I’ve taken my dog to Salish Animal Hospital for about 9 months now. Up until now it’s just been for vaccinations, and a first time check up. Today she was there for a vaccination, and the asked me if I wanted to have her nails trimmed. Sounded like a good idea. I heard her yelping and crying in the background. When they brought her out she was scared and wet. They said she was anxious about having her nails trimmed and had to restrain her. I asked if she was biting, and she said no she was just anxious. She had been so scared she messed herself and they had to wash her off. I may or may not keep going there for vaccinations, but will NEVER go back for any other extra services, and will insist on being in the room with her.

Went to this place for the first time, since I am new to the valley, and got a weird COVID explanation for not accepting more patients. So sketchy. At least, be more pro and update the website!

My dog was flowing blood out of his nose and they wouldn't help. Very upsetting situation.

These people are knowledgeable and very passionate and kind. We had a lot of issues with our cat and after seeing 3 other vets they have him cured. Best there is!!!

Have been seeing Dr. Thomazin for 28+ years. He is fantastic. He has cared for our dogs and cats over the years for various illnesses (kidney problems, heart problems, cancer, injuries and also routine exams. He and his team are all very caring and efficient. We feel confident that our pets are getting the best care when we are at the clinic.

We moved from our vet in Renton to Salish due to Dr. Tomazin. He was the vet for my husband's dog for years and after a few mishaps with our vet, we decided it was time to make the move. Sure, we drive 30m each way but TOTALLY WORTH IT! We have 3 dogs who are more or less healthy so our vet visits are typically for annual shots. However, we have had a couple of issues resulting in us needing to visit a little more often and zero complaints. From the minute your call is answered until the minute you drive away after the appointment everything is amazing. And, our pets don't have the 'vet walk' when they visit because they love everyone at Salish Vet Hospital!

Incredibly over priced. Beware, though they are open on weekends, there is an additional surcharge of $111 for going in then. They drive up prices that way and offer no advice or care for sick animals, they only offer more services that are unnecessary and expensive.r

My pup had had two TTA surgeries at Salish. They are organized, professional and really compassionate. I appreciated the call to let me know he was under sedation and doing well and again to let me know the procedure was over. They know how nerve wracking it can be to have a pet in surgery and do what they can to alleviate the nerves. Wonderful place!
