Cobblestone Animal Hospital Issaquah, Washington

Here's an update as of Jan '22 - Although we still love Cobblestone, because of their popularity it is becoming harder and harder to get the timely appointments. We are now looking for an alternate Vet or a backup Vet who we might be able to see our baby when our baby needs help and not when Vet is available. Yes, grass is always greener on the other side, but unless we try, we will never know how green :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We are the first time pet owners. Our friends (with furry babies) use other Vets in the area. We took a chance signing up with Cobblestone based on the location (for convenience) and online reviews. We are so glad we did. The staff and Dr. were so polite and professional. The first visit went flawlessly and we got all the information we were looking for. In-fact one of the staff (I believe she was the nurse, not sure) stayed with my wife keeping her company and answering her questions while I was running a few minutes late to pick her up.

We recently switched to Cobblestone and couldn’t be more pleased with Dr Erin’s active management of problem areas and focus on prevention. I really believe that switching to Cobblestone has bought our senior kitties a couple more comfortable years of life than they would’ve had if we hadn’t found this clinic. Dr Erin’s professionalism was also commendable - when heard we were not pleased with our previous vet she apologized for the reflection that had on the veterinary profession as a whole, but also assumed the best of the other vet by saying they may have simply been overwhelmed by the volume of pets they were managing.

Absolutely stellar care for my dog Panda for the past 2 years my family couldn't be happier with the staff and level of care at Cobblestone. My dog had an incident where he was severely dehydrated due to a stomach bug and they practically saved his life. Prices are very reasonable and "on this earth" when compared to other clinics too. We are forever grateful and would not hesitate to recommend this clinic.

I recently moved to the area and my two dogs were in need of a new veterinarian. I scheduled them for general checkups with Cobblestone Animal Hospital to ensure they’d be a clinic that I’d like to bring my dogs back to for years to come. I was not disappointed in the service that Dr. Erin Russell provided. She’s exceptional, passionate, and knowledgeable. Not only did she thoroughly examine both my dogs together, but they loved her and the staff! I have a very anxious and aloof cattle dog who despises every veterinarian hospital he’s been to EXCEPT Cobblestone Animal Hospital. When I came to pick him up, he wanted to go back inside which is simply unheard of. In addition to my dogs loving the care they received, I was also very appreciative of the extensive information Dr. Erin provided and her dedication to education. My other dog has allergies and he’s getting up there in age. She sent me lengthy emails detailing his symptoms and ways in which to improve and prevent them. It wasn’t the typical “here’s the meds your dog needs bye” treatment I’ve experienced in the past. It’s safe to say we’ll be coming back to see Dr. Erin and the rest of the wholesome staff at Cobblestone Animal Hospital.

Our experience was fantastic. Staff were friendly and professional. Our dog was cared for, and I felt like it was efficient but not rushed.

Dr. Winnie is great! She is patient and calm- just right for my Chow. She's very communicative and kind. We wouldn't take him anywhere else!

Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Very knowledgeable about Veterinary care. They also offer Discounts for Veterans! Outstanding care. I would recommend them to all that cares for their pets.

Update to review below: Dr. Peng reached out to me to discuss the below experience. She was very apologetic and empathetic to our experience. I feel everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes and we are giving them another try. The pandemic has created chaos for everyone and the veterinarians were not spared. The vet is very nice and initially everything seemed fine. However, after my kittens first check up, I was asked to bring them back a few days later for a vaccine rather than them just doing the vaccine while we were already there. Okay, perhaps that was for a reason. Following the next visit, I received an email with a quote for spaying and microchipping when my pets were already clearly spayed and they already had the microchip number. The next visit I was notified that I can pick up an animal that I didn't own. The thing that drove the decision to switch vets was taking my pets in for a vaccine and being verbally told they received it and then receiving a notification that they needed that vaccine. When I called to correct the mistake I was told they were given a vaccine I had declined and not received the vaccine they were supposed to. I don't feel my pets are safe here since they can't seem to keep their records straight.

The most attentive, kind, trusting, and reliable vet ever. We live in SLU and still choose to drive to Issaquah because they are worth it. Truly the best vet experience we’ve ever had and we’ve been to a few (highly rated) vets in Seattle area - just doesn’t compare to Cobblestone. Wouldn’t take our pup anywhere else.

I cannot say enough good things about cobblestone! Front office staff, nurses, and vets alike have been wonderful to work with - including expertly navigating a recent severe and distressing course of illness with our sweet cat Sophie. On multiple occasions each of the vets, (Dr. Ellsworth, Dr. Peng, and Dr. Russell) made themselves available to guide Sophie’s care and the seeming daily twists and turns. they made the time to help Sophie and me even though on several occasions these unscheduled needs occurred at extremely in-opportune moments! Thank you cobblestone for supporting Sophie (and me) when we really needed you!

We love Dr. Peng and everyone at Cobblestone. We've been taking our dog there since the practice opened, and seeing Dr. Peng since before then! Our dog always gets great care, things are explained thoroughly, and everyone is kind, responsive, and knowledgeable

Every time I call to ask questions, they always patiently explain things and make sure to take care of my concerns. Very grateful for their high quality and friendly service! My doggo is also always so happy to see the vet!

We love taking our dogs to Cobblestone. They are super knowledge and easy to work with. There have been a few times they couldn’t help us and we’re able to refer us to some great places as well which we really appreciate. We love taking our dogs to Dr. Mary and the whole team. I’d highly recommend this vet!

I’m so glad they took the time and care to really understand what was going on with my dog- they really care! Keira loves going to the vet, it’s great!

The staff are incredibly friendly and they have taken good care of our 3 dogs and 4 cats over the past years. They have an excellent perspective on geriatric animals and do not push an inappropriate level of care like many other vets in the area do. These folks care about you and your pets!

I’ve been taking my senior pug, Casper, to Cobblestone for almost 2 years and we’ve always had a wonderful experience! Dr. Peng and Dr. Ellsworth are both amazing!

My dog who arrived from Korea 4 weeks ago did well with her teeth cleaning she received from Dr. Winnie Peng. Everyone was helpful, kind and took good care of us. All doctors and staff are professional and responsive to our needs.

Everyone at the clinic is so knowledgeable and professional and wonderfully caring with our Labs! So happy to have found them :).

The staff at Cobblestone Animal Hospital is top notch. They have given me and my dog quality care. I've never felt rushed or unable to ask more questions about service, test results, or ongoing care. They have been honest and thorough in all conversations thus far. It's a great place to take your pet. Highly recommend.

Made our first visit to Cobblestone AH and it was nothing shy of great! I have seen Dr. Peng in the past at another office and loved having her as our trusted vet, so I was happy to see she has her own clinic now! This visit we saw Dr. Ellsworth who listened and addressed all of my many concerns with our 15 year old aging lab and got her on meds to resolve some of the issues she was experiencing and ease my mind. Great communication and experience from everyone we interacted with, both in person and over the phone. There's also an app which I would strongly encourage people to sign up for. It is a SUPER convenient way to help with appts, med refills and messaging. Wish I would have come here sooner but definitely will be back! Wonderful team at Cobblestone!

Cobblestone is a wonderful vet clinic. The vets, techs, and all staff are caring, and friendly. They have always found time to deal with emergencies, and are fast and efficient for regular checkups. I also enjoy how they are good at communicating via email for quick questions. My dog is nervous to be left alone anywhere (and due to covid, she goes into the building without me), but, as she leaves the vet, she always has a lick and a wag for them.

The Cobblestone team are always helpful and friendly when I call with questions. I know my cat is in great hands when I drop her off! Not to mention that they all do what they can to keep things affordable for pet care. Thank you

Our 14 year old cat went from 60 to zero in 2 days and needed emergency services our regular vet couldn't provide. Cobblestone managed to fit her in for several exams, labs and meds. We have no doubt they saved her life. Their commitment is incredible!

Every time we call they answer and provide the best care available. First time we called was emergency and they showed compassion every step of the way. They are considerate of budgetary constraints offering all options available and sensitive to the cost of care. We trust their practitioners and always experience high level of customer service.

The best vet we’ve been to in the Seattle area in the last 20 years. Vet and staff are very attentive and competent. I feel like they care about my pets and have their best interests at heart.

They have taken excellent care of our little kitty Nike-Lu. We are so grateful for all they do!

Dr. Ellsworth was amazing with my shy kitty who hides from new people-within minutes she was relaxed and purring!

We absolutely LOVE Dr Winnie & everyone at Cobblestone! We feel like family and our sweet Golden Retriever gets the best care. We never feel rushed & our thoughts and concerns are always respected and thorough time given to talk things through when needed. Absolutely recommend & Ella gives four paws UP! ????
