Just want to say they're the best. As a first time pet owner, it is nerve-wracking whenever my dog isn't feeling well. Eastside vet always responds to my emails and calls right away and they take such good care of my dog. Couldn't recommend them more! So glad we live close to them.

The absolute best place to have your pet boarded. They take really good care of my cat. She is 17 yrs old and need medication twice a day. I won't put that burden on my cat sitter. They monitor her weight and how she's doing. I get an update from them if there has been any changes I should know about. The facility was built as a place to board pets as well as a vet office. On their website they have pictures of the boarding areas and a link to the info regarding the designing of their facility. The staff is always friendly, curious, and professional. They're still doing curbside pickup and drop off. They allow me to send food and littler with my cat so she doesn't have the stress of too many changes. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. I'm so glad I found them. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

If you are boarding an elderly dog I would suggest a different business. Our elder dog came back with what we were told was "salivation" but was laying in urine. We were essentially asked not to board our dog in the future because of his high anxiety and their inability to show some compassion. Even after returning home it took 2-3 days for our dog's routine to return to normal. If you can get into Roscoe's Ranch it is so much superior.

They are responsive, IF you have never been in to see them. They will not see your pet for emergencies……..they send you to Blue Pearl and Blue Pearl is completely overwhelmed. They absolutely would not figure out a way to get us in, not even next day. Our dog is having intermittent seizure issues. We thought moving him to vet close to us would be best so when he was having issues he could be seen quickly. Be sure u ask if they take emergency appointment???? My advice is just don’t do it!!!!!

We boarded our cat there and they were amazing! They kept in contact with me, answered my updates and over all my cat was very well taken care of. I’ll be using them again. Thank you east side vet.

My cat needed to be seen pretty quickly for an issue and we were turned down from our usual vet. I called all over the place and Melanie, the receptionist here, was so kind and efficient. She got us in the next day. Dr. Allodi was also great and very clearly communicative. All the meds were nicely organized and easy enough to understand. They were all so kind and helpful in getting my cat in, seen, and all fixed up. We will definitely be going back here regularly!

We needed a vet to care for our cat Chip and the staff, including Dr. Huang, did not disappoint! Dr. Huang gave all the best advice and always explained everything down to the details. She was always very patient with me and answered any questions that I had. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our beloved kitty. We received the nicest card in the mail for his passing from the staff and it made me feel I made the right choice and did everything I could for my sweet boy, Chip. I look forward to taking and working with the staff to provide the best care for my future companion. Thank you for everything!

Great team. Lower wait time than other vets in the area. They answer the phone. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely my go-to place for my pup

I love taking my Bernadoodle puppy for care to Easstside vets! Dr Hung and her team are amazing. I completely trust them for my puppy’s care. Dr Hung spends loads of time explaining everything that’s going on with every visit, one feels totally supported especially since this is our first dog. I highly recommend them for your pets care. Both Kirkland and Newcastle locations are great!

We are pleased with this vet. Prices are reasonable, wait times reasonable, last minute emergency requests handled professionally. They care about your pet and handle them with care. We also enjoy the kenneling options. Their kennels are wonderful and not just a cage your pet(s) sit in. Thank you. I'm beginning to think a lot of the negative reviews are fudged. This is why we switched from newport hills vet to eastside vet. Eastside vet is amazing after dealing with newport. We switched from newport hills after their services tanked, started upselling unnecessary things, lab results were not completed in a timely manner, meds/food/prescriptions were not ready for pick up (often misplaced) requested to come back multiple times (items still not ready for pick up), wait times got horrible, newport started doing decisions without owner consent (one simple procedure turned into life or death), in addition to customer service issues. We're pleased with eastside vet associates. Would highly recommend. I will do appointment only vets from now on. At newport hills we ended up waiting an hour or more in the car with pet in carrier having melt downs and damaging them selves on the carrier. I had to replace two carriers because an odd odor got on the carriers and the cats never wanted to set foot inside them again. One cat was too afraid to leave carrier and use complementary litter box. Eastside gets you in within less than 30 min appointment times vary upon medical need. My cats are quite comfortable with eastside vet.

I would like to thank Eastside Veterinary Associates for the compassion and quality of care they have shown with my companions. Even in these trying times we are living in, they have been resilient in their commitment to the highest quality. Having visited many vets in the area, I highly recommend them to anyone seeking veterinary care.

I own a Japanese Akita Inu. This breed only recently has been acknowledged and accepted as a unique breed separate from the American Akita by the AKC. This is not a common breed and requires some unique understanding and approaches in raising and care. I feel blessed and fortunate that I found Dr. Coil at Eastside Veterinary Associates. She is compassionate, and thorough in her approach and guidance with my dog, Kekoa. Dr. Coil and her nurse Cindy, have always gone the extra mile to provide his necessary health care . Dr. Coil and nurse Cindy, have always offered positive support for Kekoa , with a great deal of compassion , guidance and genuine loving care. They always return my email and phone calls in a timely manner. Dr. Coil also provides me with education that has helped me make the best decisions for Kekoa's overall general health and care. We trust Dr. Coil and have a great deal of respect for her.

My experience with Dr. Allodi, Courtney and the staff has just been amazing. I adopted two kittens who ended up being sick, and they have been so truly helpful and caring, taking the time to explain all the meds to me and the process - sometimes twice. Dr. Allodi called me personally to answer all my questions. My kittens are on the mend, and I am very grateful for their no-judgment patience with a new kitten-mom! Thank you!

I have taken my dog here for a few years. I worked with Dr. Ingall (who recently moved to CA) and now Dr. Nemeth. I am very pleased with the doctors and the clinic. They take very good care of me and my dog. I never feel rushed.

We took our 7year old cat skittles in because he seemed to be limping and stumbled getting up stairs a few times. East side is a nice new facility that’s close to our house. The people there were very nice and courteous. When the doctor came into the room to examine skittles I explained my concerns and said “I think he fractured something falling off our balcony and he should have xrays”. The doctor did the exam and recommend tests instead which showed a high white cell count. We took skittles home and waited to see how he responded to the meds we were given. 2 weeks later my wife took him back again because he was getting worse. They ran more tests and still didn’t have an answer. A few weeks later with skittles condition worsening my wife took him in again where they finally ran xrays. Even then my wife had to insist on full body xrays instead of just the chest area. The xrays showed cancer in his stomach. We were then sent to Seattle Veterinary where they could run a ultrasound to verify what was shown on the X-ray. During that exam the doc felt his stomach and noticed a big tumor right away. After the ultrasound he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We had to put him down 2 days later due to his rapid declining health. The reason I’m rating East side so low is because they just couldn’t figure out what was wrong. 1800.00 later , 3 visits later and on our insistence to be xrayed he was finally diagnosed correctly. I just don’t have faith that these people know what they are doing. This is a tough business and I understand but we take our pets there to get expert advice and not to run every test they can until one finally tells them what’s wrong. This is unacceptable to us. Thanks

We've been to 3 other vets since moving here and FINALLY came upon Eastside Vet Assoc. It's the little things that make all of the difference. The staff are genuine and caring and the doctors treats our pets like they are their own. Cannot tell you what a breath of fresh air it is to be a part of this establishment after the nightmares we have had in the past. Dr. Coil is fabulous!

Dr. Coil and the Dr. Nemeth are two of the best vets I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had boarded my now angel pup with them several times and taken him to them for check ups. All times they were so considerate, patient and helpful. When the day finally came for me to say goodbye to my dog Charlie, Dr. Coil and her assistant were very comforting and even emotional with us, as they loved Charlie from his many visits. One day I came home to a very thoughtful card that the staff had written their condolences on, along with a beautiful box for my baby boys ashes to rest in. Thank you so much to the people that have been there to play with Charlie and love him. It has been and will continue to be a process of grieving, but he is no longer in pain and I thank you for that.

My account of Eastside Veterinary Associates is Outstanding! The staff is professional and the medical director goes above and beyond to provide care to their patients! Do not believe any of the "fake news" that is posted against E.V.A.. Our family pet, to which we love dearly, had experienced a major medical event and was hospitalized. Eastside Veterinary Associates provided realistic guidance on what to expect for our pet's condition. No upselling of any sorts occurred for the care of our pet. Eastside Veterinary Associates were sensitive to our needs and is still there for us, no matter what the outcome. Our pets are our family members too. If you are serious about the care of your family members, you have to go to Eastside Veterinary Associates!

My dog, Lucy, does not like strangers to touch her, especially her feet. Dr. Coil & her team have worked with Lucy to find a positive solution for exams & nail trims. They communicate with me and are very respectful of the special needs of my dog. Beautiful facility, great location.

DO NOT bring your pet here. The doctor here authorized all sorts of things (shots, bloodwork, medications) to be done to our dog without our (the owner's) permission, ending up in an enormous bill …

I have an 8 week old yellow Lab that has extreme itching. The people at EVA have been great and very thorough in diagnosis and management. I needed medication for my 9 year old Lab and they found a place where I could go and pick it up so I didn't have to wait before I recieved it. The place is very clean and Dr. Hung has gone out of her way to help us. She has found us top specialists to help and patiently answered all our questions. We are so glad we finally found a place we really like.
