Bone-a-Fide Dog Ranch Snohomish, Washington

Needed to find somewhere to let our girl Celeste stay for a couple of nights while out of town. I highly recommend Bone-Fide in Maltby.

The staff here are very knowledgeable and truly care about what's best for your dog. They are also very responsive to emails which is great. I love that they really take the time to get to know each dog and really do their best so that your dog has the a great, positive experience. I appreciate that they do a screening visit to see if your dog is a good fit, and also take the time to give everyone a tour of the property and answer any questions. My dogs have only gone to daycare a couple times here, but they absolutely love it. They come home very happy, very tired pups. Just be prepared that since they are outside a lot they will come home nice and dirty (well at least mine do, but I don't mind- there's not a puddle my dog doesn't have to lay in so I've just accepted it by now :) ). And I think they do do a bath service if you request it. Looking forward to using their boarding services next time I'm out of town. I know my dogs are safe and happy here and that's #1 to me.

Bone-a-Fide was worth a 45 minute drive when we lived in Lake City. Now we are 10 minutes away and we are so grateful. They are pros through and through; even with our dog who has been kicked out of every other day care and longer stay places nearby despite dozens of hours and thousands of dollars in training.

My go to place for boarding. My dog comes back exhausted and happy.

If we lived within 30 miles of Bone-A-Fide, our dog would go several times a week and be a very happy dog. They are the ideal Dog Ranch!

Our dog developed eye infections while we were out of the country. The staff at Bone-A-Fide consistently kept us updated with his progress and even transported him to the vet, obtained antibiotics and eye ointment (with our consent), and provided the medical attention our dog needed, all the while monitoring his behaviors. With previous experiences, I've always noticed that each of the staff really understand dog behavior. Thank you again. We will always board our dogs with you in the future.

One of the best dog places in Seattle, if not the best. This is dog Disneyland. The people genuinely care for dogs. We leave our 120 pound lab for 10+ days without any worries whatsoever. Our dog comes home tired and happy

Bone-A-Fide is the best!!! We take both our golden retrievers here and they clearly love it - always so excited to go! The staff are so kind and incredible and they remember the dogs every time. I also love that they have you bring your dog for an assessment before boarding - it gives you that extra assurance and peace of mind to know that your dog is safe and happy when you’re away.

Boo to Bone-A-Fide! Took my puppy there for a “tryout” and there was an “incident” with a dog that was clearly inappropriate for the service. I got some vague explanation and asked for a short written report. I was told that the owner was too busy and I could call and she would remember the incident — because she had a really good memory. Really??? This sounded shady to me. I also thought it was suspicious that they would not let us see the facilities and play area because of COVID. We could all wear masks and stand six feet apart to hear the sales pitch. Why couldn’t we all wear masks, stand six feet apart and see what the dogs were doing??? Edit to add my response to Bone-A-Fide's: The owner gave me a convoluted explanation of what happened with my dog. I believed a written explanation would be concise. I would better understand the incident and could pass this info along to a trainer. They essentially refused. Furthermore, she DID NOT offer to work with my dog. She initially suggested bringing my dog in the next day to "hang out" with one of their employees dogs, but by the end of our conversation, that offer was taken off the table. (No, it was not a contentious conversation --to her credit.) There was NO other talk of working with my dog. I was disappointed that this boarding opportunity wouldn't work out for my trip, but had other options. There was no pressure to make something work. I get that bad reviews are tough to read and public perception is critical to a business. This situation was devastating for me. I left Bone-A-Fide in tears, thinking that there was something seriously wrong with my dog. My confidence in my pup was destroyed. This situation was not handled well by Bone-A-Fide.

We've been sending our black lab Lucky to Bone A Fide since 2012 when he was a puppy. Every time we leave town and can't take him with us, he gets a vacation too. He still loves it and gives it 5 stars! Always comes home happy and tired, bathed and nails trimmed too! Highly recommend for pups that need to be active every day instead of cooped up in a kennel. Shoutout to Bryan - you're the best!

My dog loves going to daycare here, he comes home very tired which I can rarely achieve on my own. He loves to play in the water (and mud ????) so I do have to protect the car and bring extra towels to mop him down before heading home.

These guys have gone above and beyond for us each time we have boarded our dog with them. They are responsive to calls/emails - update us whenever we ask, and we trust they know what they're doing when it comes to dog care. We really wanted a wide open place for our dog to run/play and exercise as he is a high energy pooch. We found it here and at a great value for the money! 5/5 starts we will definitely be using this team again.

We take our dog here pretty much every week since my wife and I both work and our puppy is very needy. He needs a lot of exercise for his breed. Every time I pick him up at night he is exhausted! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

My VERY energetic border collie absolutely loves this place. As we drive up he starts barking and jumping in the backseat. And he always comes home and naps for the full day afterwards. This is an incredibly difficult feat for a border collie! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I have learned a lot about my dogs anxious tendencies from them. We love it so much!!

We recently adopted a pup who is a bit shy and can be high maintenance around strangers. The crew at Bone-A-Fide welcomed him in for boarding and daycare and took such good care of him. It’s obvious that they care for the dogs and enjoy their jobs. I’m thankful to have a great home away from home for our pup!

Go to dog ranch .... Staff is amazing and will treat your dog - like you would .

This was the best place to take our dog while vacationing in the Seattle area. The people are fantastic! The dog had a great time she ran and played the whole day while we went places that we couldn't take her.

This place is clean and the dogs have an outrageously fun time!

First time taking my dog to a boarding facility of any kind and they were absolutely amazing. He stayed there for two weeks and had a blast and didn't want to leave. It was obvious he wasn't pleased with me when he got home. Lol! The entire staff was so kind and loving! The overall facility is not what you'd expect...it's way better! The dogs get their own (human) house to sleep in and it is insanely clean. They have so much room to run around in and the fencing ensures no one is able to sneak out. I was so reassured by how well they cared for him and highly recommend bringing your babies here! Thanks to everyone on staff for easing my mind and taking such great care of Rocco!

Our pup loves going to the ranch to play with all his friends. Comes home tired, happy, and if it's been raining, muddy. All signs of a good time had by all.

A wonderful place for dogs to spend the day or board overnight. The owner cares deeply for dogs and it really shows.
