My dog is really sick and we have an appointment with them 2 weeks out, so took him to Olympia pet emergency cause he was so miserable we couldn't wait. Found out he has a serious issue that needs care right away. Due to being an emergency clinic the cost of further care is very high there. I called Haigh to see if they could get him in sooner and the lady was very rude and short with me. Had no compassion at all for me or my pet. I canciled my appointment with them and will never go back there again.

Our two cats are new patients here. Even though the appointment was booked a ways out I'm still so glad we went with this office. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful and while I was initially a little uncomfortable about waiting outside during the exam and vaccine administration, I know they took great care of my two nervous cats. I'll be back for a teeth cleaning for one of the cats in a few months. The prices are very reasonable.

I took My Yellow Lab Sasha in for Our first visit for a well pet check up, a few weeks ago few weeks ago. Less than a week later they literally saved Sasha's life when She ate some salmon at the river and developed salmon poisoning...???????????? Salmon poisoning is quite serious, She was Very Sick...???????????????????? The Kind, Compassionate staff at Haigh evaluated Her, and treated Her with anti nausea and antibiotic meds, they also sent us home with some canned dog food and some probiotic powder also. She was deathly ill for a couple of days, then not Her usual perky self for a few more days. She seems to have recovered completely now...????????????????????❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ We moved to this area in the spring, and could Not Be Happier with the care Sasha has received here. A Huge Thank You to Haigh's pleasant and professional Staff.????????❤❤❤

Had to put down our munched loved Bandit 12 year old dog. Haigh doc and nurses helped to put Bandit out on their lawn and administer the meds. Young Dr Haigh and his staff are great. They do need more vets as they are always at least 1 month booked in advance for appointments but made an exception to end the pain in our puppy. Bless you guys.

Terrible customer service they don't fax prescription to like other pharmacies where the medicine is quite a bit cheaper, you have to mail it yourself.He was supposed to add Bravecto with her other medicine and he forgot both times I called the office to see if they would just call it in and they refused I had to drive all the way back to there office and pick the prescription up that happened last year and then again this year I live 45 minutes from the office and having to mail it is another 2 weeks for pharmacy to receive I am changing vets.

I can pay 20.00 cash at chiropractor and get an x-ray for myself. They wanted 400.00 to x ray a damn chicken, which is twice what pet emergency in Poulsbo charges which I thought was outrageous!!!...

I called with an emergency eye issue on my dog and was told they were full up, next appointment was in mid April. Not very sensitive or service minded.

In spite of being able to only speak to Dr Haigh over the phone re: the consult on Merfey, he was very kind, very helpful in my decision process, and emphasized that the decision to operate or not did not need to be rushed. I am very happy that these kind people will accept Merf as a client.

Called to see if I could make an appointment to get my dog in for a wellness check and without even asking my name said, they are not accepting new clients. In other words they didn’t want my business and had no referral care in place. No stand-by list or care

When I needed to take my dog in they couldn't see my dog.

We moved to the area about two years ago and started using Steamboat Island Veterinary Hospital as our local Veterinarian. When our 14-1/2 year old Havanese, Lucy, woke up lethargic, weak and unable to walk well I called Steamboat to get her in. They were unable to get us in as they were booked out for several weeks. They referred us to Olympia Veterinary Hospital. I called the Olympia Hospital to ask for directions and they informed me there would be a four hour wait. With Lucy looking worse by the minute, we wrapped her up and headed toward Olympia and the four hour wait. As I drove through Shelton and came upon Arcadia Road I remembered reading in Nextdoor about Haigh Veterinary Hospital and what great reviews they had. I instantly took a left and thought I would give them a try -- which turned out to be the best choice I ever could have made. I pulled in, called into the office (stayed in car due to Covid rules) and explained my situation. They were able to get Lucy in right away. The staff was amazing and the doctor was kind, upfront and willing to take the time to go through the possible options of Lucy's care. He was attentive in calling to check up on her even though she wasn't a normal patient. Sadly, we ended up having to say good-bye to our furry little girl, but I feel truly blessed to have had the care, compassion and guidance of this fantastic team. Lucy, in her last moments, was in wonderful hands. That's all I could hope for. I recommend Haigh highly. If we ever add another furry one to our family, I will definitely be back. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Haigh Veterinary Hospital.

A couple years ago our cat's lips began turning black & scaly and patches of fur falling out. First vet called wanted an appointment in 2 weeks. It seemed too urgent to wait, I called Dr. Haigh, who saw our cat the next morning! Happily it was an allergy and treatable. We now take both our cats here. Due to COVID, do not bring your pet inside, park and call their office. A vet assistant will come out, ask about pet and take inside. (small animals in carrier, large ones leashed) Once pet is examined, vet will either call you or assistant will come outside to discuss treatment etc.

They are great with our animals.
