Have always had top notch care of my pet. Rapid call back from staff, vets. Much discussion re meds for pet. Really nice clinic, staff. Highly recommend. This is Woo's (Ashley Johnston) cousin.

West Seattle Animal Hospital has really impressed my family 100%. We took our Chihuahua here after another vet in the area kind of went downhill in their business practices. West Seattle Animal was so very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. We saw Dr. Johnson, the owner, who was really great with our little pup. His Veterinary Assistant just fell in love with our little one. They are always friendly and courteous whenever they answer the phone and provide quick and efficient service. They got our dog in in a reasonable amount of time for his neutering surgery as well. Dr. Gomez did the surgery and personally called to let me know how he did and gave me great instructions for recovery. I would highly recommend West Seattle Animal Hospital after mine and my family's experience there. We will be continuing to go back.

These guys are Bright and busy doctors that never leave out the details. My dogs and cats over the years have been going for the last 25 years

The order took longer than usual due to their putting together a rather large order for a shelter. They ran out of rice as a result so I had to sub something else. There was only one person working that day for lunch service and one walk in customer walked out due to the long wait times. Others seemed annoyed but stuck it out. The food was good and so is the service (excepting the long wait). They did not forget my food preferences despite the circumstances and did a good job setting expectations on the food substitution. I suggest allowing more time on peak hours by ordering online or delivery. Planning around it would also work. Maybe they can hire more staff when people are ready to come back to work.

A regular exam here is now $92. Also, they closed on Sundays, they don't offer appointments Saturdays anymore, and M-F there are only docs from 8p-1230p, then 230p-6p which is "due to covid" (every business' stock excuse for anything). This clinic used to provide valuable vet services to the community 7 days a week. Last time I tried to make an appointment, they were going to book it 2-3 weeks out, and of course for urgent/emergent care, I was out of luck completely. Be safe and establish care at other clinics, otherwise you may have no options when your pet really needs care and be stuck with a massive emergency room bill with follow up treatment/medicine needed the next day at your regular vet...who can't get you in for weeks.

My senior dog has needed a lot of extra care and Dr Johnson and Dr Beck have be instrumental with his quality of life. Everyone at this clinic will bend over backwards to help you if they can. The nurses are so helpful for general questions and responsive. Dr Johnson has called and checked in on my dog just to see how he is and was very calming and sincere speaking to me. I know my dog is getting excellent care and can’t thank everyone here enough.

Great service, but the new phone tree with only voice mail boxes is a step away from good customer service. If your call volume is too high then outsource that to a phone service, not a voicemail box.

West Seattle Animal Hospital haa been my Veterinarian since 2002. Unfortunately, today I had to make a euthanasia appointment for my 18 year old terrier. ???? Something every pet owner dreads. West Seattle Animal Hospital has always been so kind and empathetic with end of life decisions. The pandemic has made it very hard to get into a vet for last minute appointments. I was relieved we were able to be seen within 2 days. The staff is very kind and the Veterinarians are great. My pet family is very grateful to have found compassionate care. In loving memory of The Queen "D" "Olive Brigham" 2003-2021

Took good care of our boy (cat) and LISTENED to us. Highly recommend Dr. Blank. She was awesome to deal with, even if we couldn't come into the room.

I have called their office to see if they can see my 8 month old pup who has been having loose stool. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone for 10 minutes and it was an emergency. When I got a hold of someone, the lady didn’t ask any questions on what going on. All she said is there is no one available and I can leave a voicemail to a nurse. Very disappointing

We LOVE our vet, though right now it's a little farther, West Seattle Animal Hospital! We ended up going to them when our dog, Ripple, tore her CCL because our normal vet (Lien Animal Clinic) refused to make the time to see her. WSAH let us speak to a nurse over the phone for no charge then made time to see her the next AM when she hadn't peed and was still in a lot pain. We have literally never left and still make the drive to WS from North Beacon Hill cuz its worth it! In December, we had a fatty cyst on her tail that kept getting torn open removed (and teeth cleaning) and due to the size, placement, and her age- it didn't heal well. We had to take her in 3-4 times per week for bandage changes (they regularly charged us for every other and called us to stay updated), then it got to the point we had to consider amputation ???? and they sent us an estimate but adjusted it due to it being a followup procedure. Finally at last moment, they suggested laser therapy and taught us how to do bandage changes at home which was a miracle! Her tail started showing signs of improvement after just 1 laser treatment! Dr. Gomez literally saved her tail!!

Dropped my cat off in the morning for an ultra sound, and upon picking him up he had a limp. The only explanation the nurses offered is that he’s old and it’s probably arthritis which he has never displayed before. Time to find a new vet.

Dr. Gomez and the rest of the staff are and have been amazing. Not only did they take my kitty back quickly, and make sure he would be OK. They've gone out of their way to keep me up to date with his treatment and help put my anxieties to rest.

I love Dr. Johnson. His gentle manner with my elder dog is awesome. He always explains everything we are dealing with and gives me a lot of information.

Dr. Lee and Dr. Kornmann saved my cat's life! I am so grateful to have received the care that I got from WSAH. The nurses and team are incredibly kind and helpful, whether it be on the phone or in person. I called the morning of when Benji had a urinary obstruction, and Dr. Kornmann squeezed him in the morning schedule and treated him immediately. Dr. Kornmann and Dr. Lee were both very thorough throughout his treatment, and always managed to call me back on the phone to give me an update. Benj came home a very happy cat and I am so thankful!
