The only place I'll take my pets now. They're upfront and honest. But most of all they care. Would recommend and will return.

The staff here are polite, professional, knowledgeable and care about the animals. They're also affordable and offer treatment ideas without pressuring you into spending.

We've been taking our cats here for years, and Urban Animal has always been fantastic. The doctors, techs, and staff are all kind and helpful.

They care a lot about your pets and want to do what is best for them and you. Their staff is kind and attentive. If you email them questions, they get back to you quickly. I love that they are on a walk-in basis. Thanks for always taking care of my little fuzzy ones.

I have had such a great experience during a scary time for my kitty’s health! I was unable to get in with my regular vet day-of so opted for Urban Animal since they are a walk-in clinic and now I consider them my primary vet. Everyone from the receptionists, techs, and vet (Dr. Stillin is who has seen my cats) are so compassionate, thorough, efficient, communicative and clear. I really trust this staff with my cat’s care. The vibe of the clinic is also very cozy and accepting. I also find them to be comparatively affordable. Thank you very much!

Love this place. Always very friendly and helpful. Make sure you get there early as the appointments are first come first served. They do have the ability to check current wait times on their website which is helpful. I know my pets in good hands when I take him here.

Very grateful to have found this place when I did. I brought my dog in and they diagnosed and preformed emergency surgery the same day. I could have lost her and I'm so glad they were able to help so quickly. 4th day post op and she's doing so much better already ???? thank you

Urban Animal is hands down the best place in King County to bring your animal for veterinary care. Even after moving to Bellevue, I still take my dog to Urban Animal because I haven't been able to find any vets that take such a thorough approach to my dog's care. They are diligent about finding the source of my dog's health issues rather than just treating the symptoms. Everyone in the office is also so incredibly warm and friendly. I always know my dog is in good hands when I bring him here - and I reckon he knows it too based on how much he wags his tail when he sees where we're going ????

Much improved at their capital hill location now that they have expanded with separate waiting lobbies for dogs and cats. Wait times and having to play the appointment lotto during the lockdown had gotten a bit out of hand before this change. I generally have been happy with their service. The convenience of walk-ins is awesome.

I’m so grateful for this hospital to save my cat’s life. It was the first time I realized my cat need to visit a ER since he wasn’t able to urinate. I was so anxious when most hospital said they are at capacity so can’t take him. Luckily I found this hospital with its lovely online excel sheet telling you how many people is waiting now. I took him there and told them the situation, the stuff is so kind to even bump him up for his urgent issue! They put surgery on him, helped unblock the urinary. Also helped contact the overnight hospital for him to stay. And keep him cared and monitored next day seamlessly. Eventually I took him home with so much better condition the next day evening. Can’t tell enough thank you to this hospital, it really was a great experience and this is a caring place for pet.

We've been coming here for the last few years, even after moving ~30 minutes south. Tips: - no appointments are available for routine check-ups, only walk-in - after you walk-in, you're placed on a list and texted when it's your turn to be seen (we were told to expect a 3-hour wait today) Love Urban Animal, though would've saved the bulk of a day if the two considerations above were communicated.

I had an injured Dachshund and after trying to find emergency assistance at both a regular doctor as well as Blue Pearl, it was recommended that I try Urban animal. They were amazingly helpful and the best part was as opposed to waiting and they're waiting room for several hours oh, they took my phone number and texted me approximately a half an hour before they would be able to see my dog. It was without a doubt one of the best veterinary experiences I personally have dealt with

I called them and told them that I thought I needed to put down my elderly pup. they gave me a timeframe to come in the afternoon and already had a room ready for us. multiple staff came by during our visit to give him love and treats. it was so hard but the staff really made it as comfortable as possible for the both of us. thanks again.

It’s a great place for walk-in. I went there right on the opening time at 8 am, and there already had some ppl waiting in line. We eventually got into the exam room around 9:50 am, and saw the doctor around 10:20 am. If you can’t come early and do not live nearby, you should definitely check their wait time through the website, it might take a while but totally worth it if you have some urgent concerns with your pets

These folks have such great hearts! They work with what you can, but their focus is the animals! They now have 2 separate areas/entrances (dogs & cats). They will do what they can and really care.

The staff here are great. They are very caring and sensitive to the needs of both you and your pet. They have always been great careing for all my pets. Recently one of my cats got sick and passed away at home over a period of just 3 days. He was 15yrs old, a but over weight and had a heart murmur. The staff helped take him and make arrangements for his cremation and return of his ashes to me. They were very kind and helpful at a point where I was not thinking right.

My Spencer was one week from turning 16. With ongoing seizures, I could no longer deny he had reached his time. I brought him to Belltown Urban Animal who had been caring for him the past two years. I arrived to a long line. The front desk recognized him in my arms and triaged him. Though a heartbreaking time for me, the vet was so compassionate and took time to listen to me and help me come to terms for what was in Spence’s best interest. I am forever grateful to the vet and staff for all of their sensitivity and help. My sweet boy Spencer was in the right hands and with the right people. Thank you. K

Very impressed by how the check in person knew both Kafka and Rumi's names without us spelling and knew who they were named after! However, I was 5th in the line at 730am and got moved pretty quickly into a room for nurse/vet to see us. Then it took over 1 hour for them to see us. We were waiting in the same room from 8am to 9am and still waiting right now. Update: vet came to see our puppy after 90 mins of waiting. Again to clarify, this is not the wait outside, this is the wait INSIDE, in the room assigned to us. Update 2: after talking with them and their response, changing to 3 star. We still love them but the wait today was ridiculous :)

The staff was friendly and attentive to our dogs needs, he was in because of a dog fight that he sustained injury from. They checked him out quickly, gave us their honest treatment.

Brought my 10yr old cat to capital hill, told them everything about my cat and how he got sick. They gave him medication, they did not show me how to apply it or give it. Seem like everyone there is just going to the motion of being nice, except for one lady. After a week still my cat just got sicker. Told them again and nothing after three more days of nothingness from Urban animals my cat pass away. Forever hate that place!!! ????

Insane wait times but I guess that’s not on them. I wish you could add your name to the wait list online

Been coming here for 5 years and the service is great. Due to staff shortages they only do walk ins now which is really tough. Even if you get here before they open you can wait for over an hour to be seen. I know it's an industry issue with staff but I wish you could make an appointment and just charge people who don't show up a fee like the dentist. Probably only so much they can do though.
