Marine View Veterinary Hospital Des Moines, Washington

We have been taking our dog here for routine checkups and the staff are so kind and helpful. Recently our dog injured herself. We went to Marine View where Dr. Felts and the team did a phenomenal job of diagnosing and treating her and now our sweet dog is doing so much better.

We have been going here for years and have always received great care for our pets.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our dogs love it here. Even after moving 30 miles away this is still our primary DR for our pets.

Dr Jon is always very professional and never pushes treatment on you like some vets. I trust him.

I'm always confident to leave Pippin in the care of a Marine View Vet and helpful information from the team.

All though I have two sad occasions on why I had to go to the vet all my visits including those two couldn't have been any better. The people here care and the emotions they have towards you and your pet are amazing and caring. Truly an amazing veterinary hospital. I am glad I chose them almost 2 years ago. All three of my cats come here and have never had a bad experience! Prices are reasonable and don’t try adding extra services. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and my cats feel safe with the vet dr.!

Dr. Gabby was great with my, sometimes, difficult cat. She explained everything, provided good solutions for some issues I was having with him.. Professional and efficient and affordable! Absolutely recommend!

They did a new puppy exam, updated shots and several days later did a spay on our mini schnauzer. Love their staff and Vets. Would recommend

Everyone at Marine View has been wonderful with our various pets, even while we had to make the hard decision to put our pup down. They were so supportive while we took time to make the decision. The vets spend time trying to make our pets as comfortable as possible and take time to talk with you and address any questions. So thankful to have you all in our community.

If you ever going to travel with the pet to anywhere, do not come to this clinic for rabies vaccination, they got the documents wrong, even my pets birth date wrong. No rabies tag number provided. ( They apparently don't provide it.)

We've been going there for a long time and they really care about our animals. They aren't the closest to us, but they are worth the extra drive.

I havent had a vet experience the way this clinic handled it, EVER. Doctors are so professional, and meet with you right away, and techs are friendly. They obviously care about accurate and friendly experiences. I havent even had a procedure done and im already impressed. Thank you so much for caring.

Recently moved to the area and started taking our two dogs here due to the positive reviews. The veterinarians lived up to hype and were all very professional and great to work with (which is the only reason this isn’t a one star review). That said, their customer service and appointment setting process is laughable. We’ve shown up to an appointment on several occasions (again this morning - for something relatively urgent - which is at least partially the reason for this post) to be told that we didn’t have one booked (and must have “accidentally” booked with the wrong veterinary clinic)… which would not be an issue if it took less than a week to see a veterinarian. We will be taking our dogs elsewhere going forward and I would not recommend - unless you enjoy having your appointments cancelled and then being condescended to.

All of you at Marine View Vet Hospital are fantastic. I have yet to have a bad experience, pressure to do something not needed, etc.... I won't go anywhere else if I can help it. I have been coming to MVVH for 16+ years for 2 dogs and a cat and can't say enough kind words for all the people that work there.

I absolutely love this place and my pets do too! My dog will actually jump out of the car to get in there lol ???? he loves all the staff! They are friendly, nice and supportive. Always a pleasant experience.

Great service but not enjoying the "Covid style" measures where you wait in the parking lot. It's over the top since Covid is over. I expect to be given a complete check up analysis for my dog, which is difficult when I'm in the car waiting.

great team, always feel like our pets are in good hands

There is a reason why we still drive 45 min each way to come to this Vet after we moved away from Des Moines... it's because everyone at Marine View Vet is incredible! Our dog Ally is a nervous dog and is not good around dogs when she is on a leash, and she is especially scared of vet appointments. Staff members and Dr Felts have been extremely understanding and accommodating of her situation (such as letting her go in and out of the back door of the office so she won't interact with other dogs, Dr. Felts being really patient with her and taking the time to get her comfortable before the exam, etc). I've owned dogs my entire life but I've never had a vet that's full of kind and caring people like Marine View Vet. They are the best!

I’ve yet to take my dogs here but I know that after talking with Tina for about 25 minutes on the phone this will be the place for our dogs! My sister has brought her pups here for over a year now and has had only positive to say about them and how they treat her fur babies. We went through a pretty bad experience with our youngest pup Zuko at a different establishment so naturally we had a lot of questions and concerns/trust issues when inquiring about bringing our girl Luna here for a surgery. Tina was extremely patient with me and answered every single question in detail. She was also very helpful giving as much extra information that would suit our specific needs! If a phone call and getting appointments set made this much of a positive impression I cannot wait for Luna’s first appointment and our future appointments with our other two dogs! Thank you!

The people in the doctors here are wonderful they actually care about your pets

This vet is close to us, which is why we chose them. I don’t love that I can’t go in with my puppy. As a new pet parent I also don’t find that things are explained well or that staff listens to my questions. I often have to ask things multiple times to get a complete and full explanation.

Dr John and his staff are so gentle and kind. When we had to put down our 17year old dog they were so gentle and thoughtful. I would strongly recommend them for your new puppy too. Months later we adopted a rescue puppy and were concerned that his 1st vet visit be the least traumatizing as possible. We were equally impressed with the staff at Marine View with this visit as well. They are reasonably priced and we strongly recommend Marine View Veterinary and their staff for all your pets needs.

We have been with Marine View Veterinary Hospital for more than 10 years. Doctors are top notch and have been knowledgeable about all aspects of care for all of our pets. They are caring individuals and have treated us and our pets respectfully. The entire staff has been very helpful in a multitude of ways, we appreciate the kindness they show every time we walk through the door.
