We’ve been bringing our senior pup here for the past four years. Lovely, kind, and professional staff and veterinarians. Standard prices and open to discussing what procedures are absolutely necessary.

Friendly all around, great with our dog. Busy, as is every vet nowadays, but never felt rushed or anything during our visits.

First appointment was this morning for my 4 year old pup and I was blown away by how much new information I learned about pet care. (Mind you, I have cared for dogs my entire life.) From big picture things such as explaining important food ingredients to smaller details like listening to more points on her chest than I typically had seen. I am over the moon that this place is within my neighborhood. Thank you Dr. Kennedy!

We were visiting the area and needed to visit a vet for a flight health check. Sunset Hill was recommended to me and I am so glad we went. Everyone is incredibly professionals and friendly. They knew what to do for the flight certificate but also made time to answer any other concerns I had. I was incredibly worried about flying and getting the paperwork done but I had such a lovely experience in the end. Thank you so much! I highly recommend. (COVID Note: there timings and Covid protocol for the waiting room was very efficient)

I found a little puppy roaming, so I called to see if they could scan it for a chip. It was nearly closing time for them, but (I wish I remembered the woman's name! It was on June 7th, if that helps management figure it out) offered to stay in case I couldn't get there in time. I know sometimes it's hard to care about work when it's time to go home, but this really showed a level of compassion that I look for both in a human, a business, and especially a vet service.

Don’t be fooled by their good rating, if you look through the reviews most of the 5 star ones are well over a year old+, which makes sense because I’d give them zero stars if possible. After months of taking my puppy there, I’m finally done with their lack of ability to perform even their most basic job duties. His primary vet was fine, however they book out completely and don’t allow ANY day of/walk-in appts and the few other vets he saw when she wasn’t available were condescending and awkward. By all means take something like an ear infection and explain it to me in medical terms because that’ll help me and my dog. Aside from the awkward one-off vets, what really puts this place in the ground is the staff. Are they friendly? Sure, but that’s about it. They always forget to send invoices (even when I requested a note be added to my file AND I always remind them when paying my bill), they never send any post-visit vet notes, they forget to call with test results, they accidentally cancel appts you booked months in advance without telling you and just say “So sorry, we can see you in a few weeks does that work?” If this place had a motto it would be ‘So sorry for the inconvenience’, but when everything is an inconvenience, what exactly am I paying for then? Sorry, not sorry, I think my dog deserves better than this. If you want subpar, over the average price care for your pet then this is the place for you. If you want dedicated support with capable staff to develop an actual relationship with your pet and not have to worry about little things piling up over time into bigger issues, avoid this place because I wish someone would have told me to.

My dog gets along well with the staff here even if she isn't thrilled to go. They've taken really good care of her and did so much to help with her surgery.

An excellent vet. They spent so much time going over the details with me and I didn’t feel rushed for a moment. Just nice, friendly and competent folks.

My rescue cat does not like most people, and really hates going to the vet since it involves leaving his comfort space and meeting new people. Sunset Hill has failed to perform a basic visual inspection of my cats chipped tooth on two separate occasions on account of him "hissing and swatting" at them. The second time he was on enough Gabapentin that he couldn't climb his cat tree before leaving for the appointment and still three hours later has not made a single noise to me when he is usually very vocal. They are nice people and come from the right place when they didn't want to scare him, but he will be scared no matter what. They want me to administer TWICE as much Gabapentin and bring him back in another time, but I will not be doing so as I'm not comfortable giving him more considering how large of an effect the current dosage had. I'll be scheduling an appointment somewhere else that is able to do the job requested of them. This would have been a 1 Star review for putting my cat through stress that was only unnecessary due to their refusal to service him, but at least they were friendly and did not charge me for either appointment.

Wow, these people are awesome. They worked with me to get my pups in for teeth cleaning (my previous clinic did not think it was necessary, but it turned out one of my dogs had a cracked tooth and bone loss in his jaw...I guess you always should go with your gut). After the procedure, they called the next day to check in and make sure everything was fine. When I called to leave a message to tell them the dogs were doing well, they called back to thank me for letting them know. These people love animals, and it shows. It's probably why they are consistently rated as one of the best vet practices in the city.

They discriminated against me when I missed my puppies first appointment due to an emergency. I received this email shortly after the missed appointment. "This message is to notify you of Zara’s missed appointment with us this morning at 8:40am. Since we are a small business, we do have a 24hr cancellation policy with all appointments, failure to give notice of cancellation will results in a fee equivalent to the service that was scheduled. Our appointments are booked out several weeks at a time and there are many patients with medical concerns waiting on a cancellation list, those clients are unable to be contacted to fill sudden no show appointment slots. Since Zara has been seen previously at Banfield and it looks like she’s up to date on her puppy vaccines, we feel it is best that you continue her care with the clinic she is already established with. Kind regards, Krista Miller Clinic Manager" If they charge a fee, they can not also tell me to go some where else unless they do this with all of their clients.

We recently moved to Seattle from southern CA. I took our dog to Sunset Hills Vet clinic yesterday for her annual wellness and vaccinations. They were responsive, professional and thorough. I was impressed with their organization even during covid times. The appointment was seamless.

In my opinion they have a really good set-up for vet visits during the COVID-19 Shut Down. I appreciated how they set up a call to go over things at the start of my cat's appointment. Then also the follow-up call for preliminary results for tests and letting me know if there was anything of concern that comes later they would call me regarding testing.

I was recommended to Dr Lamb from my pup’s primary veterinarian and I couldn’t be happier with the recommendation. I really enjoy how she and the staff really show that they care for your pet’s wellbeing and will work with you to make sure your pet has happy and comfortable. After my pup spent time doing the laser treatments and PT exercises, I could really see a difference in her.

I can't begin to tell you how good this clinic is to the customers and the animals. My kitten was completely at ease for his first visit, the entire staff treated him with love, the doctor was thorough even through phone. The vet addressed every single one of my questions and concerns and went above and beyond. I will not take my cat anywhere but here from here on out. Thank you for taking such good care of my little boy and scheduling all his critical follow-ups in advance!

Excellent service and wonderful people, you guys took good care of my baby boy, we are very pleased to have you as our vet. Thanks to Heather and Dr. Lamb, very nice to have met you. I know we are going through very challenging times right now, and despite all of this you managed to check on my Teddy and did everything that had to be done, we are very thankful. Looking forward to our next visit.

We're super picky about care for our dogs, and Sunset Hill has been consistently fantastic. Can't recommend them highly enough. Love how responsive they are, and how easily they're available via text and email.

I have a rescue and she is extremely shy and skittish. Dr. Wong and Nurse Emily helped make her feel at ease. These people love dogs and it shows. Thank you for making Janey's first visit a good one!
