**Editing my star review to recognize the responsiveness of the business owner and good faith attempt to improve experience. Dr. Emery's quick and personal response says quite a bit about integrity and community** This is not a review of the vet services, but of the experience I had at the desk while trying to walk into, while masked, their empty office to inquire about becoming a new patient. I understand that businesses are taking COVID precautions, but I barely stepped foot into their reception area before one of the receptionists tersely told me to wait outside. "We don't allow people in the office," she said. I explained I was looking for a new vet, and wanted to see when the next new appointment might be, and was again told unapologetically to wait outside. So, I did. For ten minutes. Then I left fairly annoyed, frankly a little embarrassed, and decided the unfriendly customer service was a sign that the clinic just isn't for us.

Our previous vet had a lot of challenges supporting our reactive dog's well-being, but our dog Loves everyone at SeaTown, she is always able to get the care she needs. We are so happy our girl has them!

Every staff member I've talked to has been friendly and they seem to really care about the animals they treat. The doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate and I always felt confident that my cat was in good hands with them. I'm sad to leave them behind now that we're moving out of the area!

Love Seatown Vet but NEVER GET YOUR DOGS NAILS TRIMMED HERE. So the vet itself is amazing and the timeliness and the professionalism is awesome but never get your dogs nails trimmed here. I have include my invoice to show the outrageous price. A couple issues I had with it being 5 times what it cost when I go to a local pet salon to get my dog’s nails trimmed are 1) the price or even the fact that it is a charge wasn’t disclosed; this was a complimentary service at my previous vet and 2) they explained the abnormal cost with “difficult dog”, having a subjective way of up charging clients when we can’t even be in the clinic right now just didn’t sit well with me. Great vet, very operationally sound and organized, but super backwards service with regards to nail trims

My wife and I just started bringing our cat for biannual wellness visits earlier this year, but we really love these guys. They're great with our older feline, and the vets and assistants here are wonderful all around. We'll be permanent patients moving forward, and we'd highly recommend them!

I just got my first cat in February, and needed to take her to the vet. As I’m sure you can imagine, I was nervous and couldn’t get her into the cat carrier. The vet was willing to come grab Clementine from the car, and was extremely kind about it. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. A little bit on the spendy side, but it’s absolutely worth it. Mis Clem deserves the very best.

The folks at Seatown took great care of my dogs dental needs. Also, I have a Frenchie that is very much a challenge when it comes to nail clippings but they rose up to the challenge

We had such a pleasant experience with Seatown Vet. Our pup, Finn was rescued from a shelter and can be very reactive and nervous around new people, so trips to the vet can be pretty stressful. The whole staff at Seatown eased our anxieties from the beginning and took great care of Finn. Dr. Emery called me a few times throughout Finn’s appointment to let me know how he was doing, which I really appreciated. We feel lucky to have found Dr. Emery and would highly recommend this clinic!

Great local clinic, I really like that it's not a chain or VCA. Overall the staff are nice and they are very responsive over email! Also they have later appointments which is nice.

I can't imagine taking my dogs to anyone else besides Dr. Emery. She has been taking care of my two dogs for almost 8 years. I know I can trust her and will always get the best care for my babies. Highly recommended!!!

We have struggled with Seatown because they have not been responsive to some issue we have had with our dogs and cat. Overall Dr Emery is extremely impressive and thoughtful and we wish we were always able to work with her.

I’ve had two doggies at Seatown with great results. They put my older dog down with lots of compassion, which is why I was so shocked at what happened to my puppy. It turns out that most vets won’t spay a dog in heat because of longer recovery time and heightened risk of infection. All other vets do and should examine the dog first to determine if a dog is in heat and then advise against spaying during their heat. (After this incident I called ten other area vets to better understand standard practice and they all recommended waiting and the majority wouldn’t perform the surgery at all if the dog is in heat). Other vets inform you of all risks BEFORE the actual surgery. Seatown informed me my dog was in heat AFTER performing the spay and she then developed a horrible infection that required thousands of dollars in emergency vet care. After what happened to us they changed their whole clinic policy to require acknowledgement of the risk. Obviously they knew what happened to us was a major blunder otherwise they would not have changed clinic policy. (Or offered us a paltry $300 afterward. Less then ten percent of our post op expenses). But they refused to even split my dogs medical care or acknowledge what a huge mistake they made. It was a major breach of trust as I’m not a medical expert and expect to be informed by a professional so I can make informed decisions. Please consider this information carefully before patronizing this business. Now is the worst time to be paying for costly mistakes.

We have a reactive dog and were so worried about taking her to the vet after adopting her. We let them know our dog was “special” and they are always so accommodating and our dog does great with Dr. Emery! She loves all the treats Dr. Emery gives her. Super clean, welcoming office with awesome staff.

With a new puppy and really no clue what I’m doing, if I’m being honest, Dr. Emery and her staff have made me feel like I can do this. They have been there for every call I’ve made, which has been a lot, and are more than willing to take the e tea time during exams to answer and questions and help me if needed. The prices are fair which is also a plus. I’m so glad the Seatown Vet family is there for me and my pup Tucker.

We've been going to Seatown Vet since we adopted our dog from Seattle Animal Shelter in 2017. They are serious about high quality care. You genuinely feel like they know and care about your pet. They are really kind and knowledgeable. So happy to have found them!

Dr. Emery and her whole staff were so amazing with our cats. When one of our cats was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, Dr. Emery was so compassionate and clearly explained all our options. The whole staff were very caring and concerned for us as well as our cats. The clinic is extremely clean and welcoming and it’s clear the staff love their jobs and what they do. Highly recommended.

Brought my dog in for updating shots for the first visit here at SeaTown Vet. Unfortunately a few days later he started having diarrhea and looking lethargic. Brought him back and the vets here were SO good at what they do, they diagnosed him quickly and prescribed antibiotics. Recovery was quick for my little buddy and I cannot thank SeaTown enough for the excellent care, concern, professionalism and thoroughness. I'll continue to use their services as long as I'm in the area.
