Everyone is incredibly kind and professional

While I think that the staff here are friendly and courteous, this is NOT a hospital. It’s a very small and bougie vet clinic. I had a cat with severe anemia (which we later found out was due to feline leukemia) that desperately needed to be seen, and at no point did they suggest to go to an actual animal hospital (not to mention not knowing such a thing existed), instead causing us to wait days while the cat’s condition deteriorated. By the time she was seen, she was so sick that they had me come back to take her to an actual vet hospital in Renton. The cat’s diagnosis is now so bad that she likely will not make it. To be blunt, the people here should of had the care of the pet in mind and should had referred serious issues to the right facilities - not just treat it as another typical visit. That lack of attention and care resulted in a serious negative health outcome, and it personally burns me to my core that this “hospital” is legally allowed to have such a word in their name. I agree with the other poster that this clinic is mostly just for small boo boos and routine inspections, not any actual serious critical care.

My dog, Sly, and I visited for a dental cleaning consultation. Our vet tech, Amy, was so helpful, understanding, and genuinely kind. I’ve been a little nervous about having my dog’s teeth cleaned under anesthesia. He is 12 lbs and 8 years old. Dr. Shearer and Amy patiently answered all of my questions, and they both really put my mind at ease about the whole process. I feel confident that the procedure will go well and that my dog will be in very good hands.

I got a puppy three months ago and we're so lucky this Veterinary Hospital in our neighborhood. The clinic is clean and the staff is attentive. They have been very busy so call in advance to get the appointment time you want.

Every interaction that I have had with this vet office is so unprofessional. There is so many options in Seattle that I would skip out on this vet office. Do not recommend.

Good safe service, and available for chipping the ships cat on short notice, without being regular clients.

Eastlake Veterinary Hospital has always taken good care of my dog. I did a TON of research on vets when I moved to Seattle and Eastlake Veterinary Hospital had wonderful reviews. I’ve been so grateful that their service has met the expectations I have and the high threshold for care I hold to the caregivers for my pup. They are well informed, responsive, helpful, patient with my multitude of questions and most importantly from the second we go in to the second we leave every treats my dog with patience, compassion, and kindness. During covid, I’ve felt safe and comfortable with their process and their ability to continue providing through care to my dog.

Trustworthy veterinary clinic with caring and knowledgeable vets and staff. I have been taking my fur babies here for over 7 years and will continue to do so in light of the professional and caring services provided. Update 2021, took my beloved Yorkie for teeth cleaning in March and I really appreciate the high level of care he was given and that I was provided with a complete assessment of his dental health.

Very professional vet and doctor took good care of my cat.

My cat seemed very ill. After the blood test results came back, the vet said she was terminally ill and predicted her time of death with astonishing accuracy.

I've been taking my cat here for a year now and they are the best! The vet/vets are super smart, kind, and easy to converse with. They speak with you directly and are extremely through. My cat even loves it there!

We have had numerous DVM's over many years taking care of our dogs, our kid's dog 's , birds and a large variety of other non human, sentient beings. I have also spent the majority of my adult life working in health care. Dr. Shearer is #1 in our book. His staff is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Jim Kunkler

Very easy visit during COVID. I stayed in my car, the team came out to get my kitty, and the whole thing took less than 20 minutes for her yearly exam.

The team here are so friendly and helpful Easy location to find and always plenty of parking out the back. There COVID protocol is park & call them to acknowledge arrival & someone will come collect your pet. Mask on when interacting.

We’ve been coming here for 10 years and always feel good about our visits. (They’re a quality establishment and don’t try and upsell on services or supplies like we’ve seen elsewhere) We’ve had good experiences with all the doctors but primarily see Dr Sheer who we really like. He does a great job taking care of us and our cats.

The people who work here are absolutely wonderful, they're incredibly flexible and very personable. They always know the best tricks to calm my cat down and are always just a phone call away for advice if you're uncertain, but don't want to make the trip. The office is very clean and spacious, but is not wheelchair accessible as they do not have a button to open the main doors.

I've only spoke with them on the phone but they got me an appointment which is only about 2 weeks out and they were very friendly and will do a pick up at the door and you can wait in the parking lot for your animal

It's not been easy to find a good vet in Seattle. This was our 3rd vet hospital and finally a jackpot! We have been taking our dog for over 4 years now and can not be happier. The staff from veterinarians, vet technicians to the ladies at the reception desk is exceptional. They are knowledgeable and always will make time and are willing to accommodate. They love animals and are truly invested in every furry customer. They know them by names and always check in (call you) if they get notified that the pet went for emergency to say Blue Pearl overnight. I am very happy we found them. They perform procedures well (without surprise charges as some other vets did) and always offer you multiple options upfront without pushing you; always willing to provide estimates and extra details if you ask and never get annoyed when I ask questions. It gives me peace of mind that my dog has such an amazing team to take care of him. Highly recommend.

Dr Shearer has been my dog's vet since she was a puppy and she loves going to the vet! I completely trust the staff at Eastlake Vet to take good care of my pup.

Eastlake Vet Hospital is a community of caring, thoughtful animal-lovers who have always went out of their way to be helpful, to listen and to educate, and care for our animals. They have always done an excellent job!

I've taken five German Shepherds to Eastlake Vetinary Hospital over the years. Having tried other vets ... what a difference at Eastlake. The doctors and staff know our Shepards check, in with us periodically and know our pups and my history. You can't find anyone better!

I have been taking my cats to Eastlake for over 15 years and love all the doctors and staff. They are kind, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.
