Terrific vet to all 7 of my dogs….

From the first phone call to ask questions and up to the wave goodbye as we pulled away, the staff was energetic, involved, caring, compassionate and worked quickly without any problems. The 'barking spot' curbside service couldn't have been better. Throughout the rain and busy lot, that so many obviously knows where great vet work is, they flowed flawlessly and made each of us sure that we were the most precious case. Easily accessed business and wonderful and aware precautions taken (smoothly) to protect us all in their care as well as themselves. Thank you, steamboat staff. We were lucky enough to get our pup into steamboat due to an emergency follow up appointment. They booked us out a month, but called within 1.5 weeks with a cancelation and got us in sooner. We have loved the care the vets and staff have shown our pets and their communication with us. They are very reasonably priced and don't pressure you into things, but explain the processes and help you reach a decision. We had a very stressful situation with our pup and they helped ease the stress and make it a manageable situation. This experience has been consistent with both vets we have been paired with. I know with COVID it is a longer timeline to book, but definitely worth the wait for the love and service your fur baby will receive.

They take good care of our pets verry kind to our dogs

Brought my dog in for some dental work. Made sure to pay extra for the full blood panel before he was put under. The dental work came out great but when I got him back he was very lethargic and wasn't himself at all. He was just about to turn 9 but when I got him back he acted like he was 15 and could barely walk all the sudden. After taking him to two other vets because steamboat "couldn't" figure it out, I found out he was a diabetic but was already too far gone with diabetic keto acidosis. I've talked to several vets after this experience and all have told me the same thing. A simple blood panel shows blood sugar and it should have been caught before he was even put under for his dental work. Because of their negligence my best friend passed away before his time. If I would have gone to a different vet he would still be here. I would advise anyone who reads this to stay away from Steamboat Island animal hospital.

Very understanding of our pets needs. And very caring.

I have been taking my pets here throughout the pandemic and have been given excellent service the entire time. Yes, we have had to wait for an appointment and yes, it is difficult to get pets in sometimes but the entire staff has been so helpful, patient, and kind that it hasn’t been a huge issue for me. I am so grateful for the care we have gotten here for my dog and cats. Thank you, Steamboat Animal Hospital!

They took care of our very sick pup (pancreatitis). Knowledgeable, insightful, and animal-intuitive staff. Yes, they are busy. That’s a pandemic issue (more pets & staffing shortages). So grateful for their go-the-extra-mile service.

The staff here is amazing. They're kind and caring. We had to put our cat down and I've never felt such warmth and sorrow from any other place before.

Is professional fast and accommodating

Thank you SO much to the staff and doctors at Steamboat Animal Hospital. Our little June Bug (kitty) is 8 mos old and got sick with an upper respiratory infection. Every single animal ER from Centralia to Tacoma to Yelm were at capacity so regrettably turned us away but Steamboat Island Hospital was able to squeeze her in. Thanks to ALL Vet staff out there. Thank you for working tirelessly to keep our furbabies safe and healthy!

My babies love to go here, they get so many cuddles and attention.

The only thing that could improve my score to a 10 would be allowing the client to accompany their pet in the exam room.

The front office people are really nice and friendly, the Vet's are very knowledgeable, caring and ask if we have questions or other concerns. Everyone remembers your pets from one visit to the next and treats them so kind. We love it here !

I have two cats. I had to take her to an emergency clinic in Tacoma! They said the wait would be 5-8 hours. So I waited. After 9 hrs I went up and asked them to ck in my cat. They forgot me and my cat was still in her box and Waiting for help. Blue Pearl vets. Don't go there!! 400.00 later I was livid! A friend said Steamboat Animal clinic. So I took in my other cat in .These people made me feel like family. When my cat came out of there he looked better wasn't crying on the ride home nothing. He even looked like he was smiling. Long story short, these people were kind, caring, professional and my cat was feeling so much better. He was my cat again. And that I am so thankful for! I will never go anywhere else. Take it from me. I know and so does my cat. THANK YOU STEAMBOAT ISLAND VETERINARY. I hold you high on a pedestal! Thank you

If I could give a million stars, I would. My fur baby has multiple stomach issues and sensitive skin. Every single time we've had a concern, both the front desk staff, technicians and providers have been very responsive, careful to cover all aspects of her care, pros/cons of treatments, which has helped us make decisions when needed. Dr. Warbington, and her staff, 10 million stars; her knowledge and explanations have always left us feeling our dog is the best of care. xoxoxoxo

Business is always swamped but always makes time for our pets when we have emergencies. Very reliable and professional, would recommend.

Incredibly kind, competent, and professional staff. It's obvious that they know and respect how much people love their animals.

Our husky was limping badly. I called our regular vet and they couldn't get him in for at least 2 weeks(not quite sure what the point of a regular vet is, now) All other emergency vets were a wait-in-the parking lot for 8-10 hours. I called Steamboat Animal Hospital and they had me bring him in the next morning--and kept him all day, finding time throughout the day to take Xrays and splint his broken leg. Not only were they kind and responsive to my beautiful dog, but their follow up was wonderful. Definitely a good place for animals (and their people...).

Great service, awesome vets and techs. Always take time to explain their treatments and options for you. Only part that sucks is it takes forever to get appointments.

I have been taking our dogs to Steamboat Animal Hospital for the past 12 years. They were very helpful when we had to put our 13 year old dog down 3 years ago, now they take care of your new dog. I will not take our dogs to an one else. All of the staff are great. I just love this place.

I dropped my very scared and injured cat into their care. Everything from the scheduling to the veterinarian calling me with an update, and then an assistant calling to let me know the cat was ready-for-pickup were great. The people I spoke with were friendly and professional. Two vet techs explained the at-home care. My cat's injury is healing nicely. The cost was much lower than I had expected.
