I am happy that Tyson has a good place to go for his care. Most places are not ready to care for this nervous pit bull terrier. However, he has been a patient of Sacajawea Healthcare for pets since 2007. They're understanding, friendly & clean! We just ???? this place!

We've been using Sacajawea for our pets since the mid 70's. They always take good care of our 'kids' and they are especially caring and understanding at the end of our pet's lives.

I was concerned about my dogs lethargy after a surgery 1 day ago. They examined the pup without a scheduled appointment and put me at ease. My puppy was just tired and sore and needs lots of sleep to recover. They took great care of Leo!

Super disappointed with my visit for my cat. From the second the vet came in I got the feeling they are just trying to get money instead of truly finding a solution for your animal. Then I was I told I had to schedule a follow up appt. Which is okay but why do I need a follow up if they addressed the issue correctly. I feel like it should be my option to schedule a follow up if treatment was not working. I received a phone call two days after checking in my cat and suggesting to start different medication?? Then two days after again to suggest me paying for antibiotics which I should have left them office with.. like i said just over all very disappointing. Do not recommend if you truly care about your animals and would like a cost efficient solution.

We have been here twice for regular wellness checkups for our rabbit. The first time was while Covid protocols were in place that prevented us from coming into the building. The second time, we were present during the exam and I got to see first-hand how skilled and comforting the staff was with our rabbit. Dr. Crouthers also explained everything clearly to us throughout the exam, while also directly addressing our pet as an active participant in the conversation. It was very clear she has "the knack" with animals and on top of being knowledgeable about our semi-exotic animal. We hope not to have to be seen for any health complications as our bunny ages, but feel he would be in good hands if the need arose.

I love the staff at Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital. The environment there is perfect for my child (dog).

Love this place. Everyone is friendly from the receptionist answering the the phone to Veterinarians checking my dog. The facility is clean, which we appreciate. They just love my dog and he loves them. The prices I would consider to be very fair given the service provided. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone’s pet.

Definitely animal lovers. Their kindness towards the clientele was only exceeded by their love and kindness for our furry friends.

We have 6 pets that go to Sacajawea, three being exotics. We are more then pleased with all the service we have gotten. We have been seeing them for about three years now. We saw them after our dog got her leg amputated after a train accident and even just for all of the normal visits for the turtles. We normally see Dr. Crouthers who is amazing and sees all our animals but Dr. Mason sees our snake and does amazingly with him as well. I could say so much about some of my favorite Techs as well. We haven't had any bad experiences in the last three years. We recently moved quite far away and honestly its worth it to get such amazing care.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. My dog who has struggled with dry eyes and redness is doing better than every since visiting this veterinarian. She had been growling at me when I would put medicine in her eyes before. No matter how much medicine I would give her for her eyes, it wasn't enough. It means so much to see that my dog for the first time does not have red eyes. She is no longer growling at me.

I was taking care of my brother's cat and it got bit on its head by something with very sharp teeth and was torn, bleeding and in pain. I called his regular vet where he gets shots, Sacajawea Vet and explained the situation and that they were his vet. Their response was that they could see him in two weeks. Obviously this was incredibly unhelpful and seemed as if the person hadn't heard the explanation of injury. They offered nothing else. This is how they treat their regular patients? No thanks. Needless to say, I called another Federal Way vet hospital that the cat had never been to and they saw him immediately and gave him excellent care. My brother no longer takes his pets there.

This is a great clinic! Our first visit here went extremely well from the scheduling all the way through to the end. They were helpful, friendly, informative and accommodating. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. My dog was extremely happy and relaxed throughout the whole visit. Usually he gets a little nervous and anxious in new situations like this but he walked in wagging his tail and I ended up having to hold his tail still while getting a shot because he kept wiggling his butt from his tail wags. He is having surgery there next week and I couldn’t be more comfortable or confident in his care.

We have been with Sacajawea Vet. Clinic/Hosp. for over 20 years. They have ALWAYS been kind, professional and attentive. Follow-up is routine, and they never seem rushed to get me off the phone. I have seen all the doctors and have always received great care. The techs. and reception are equally amazing. I highly recommend them. So great to know my special animals are so well taken care of. We love Sacajawea! This is our second rescue pit Bull type that has been a patient there and we just love how the staff adore our bully breeds. If you own a bully breed you know they can be high maintenance and have skin issues along with needing hypoallergenic food on top of having all the joint issues. The staff do such a great job of making sure our fur babies get all the care and speciality things they need to live a full and happy life.

Even though they are a busy practice, they listen, take time to hear my concerns, and get back to my messages. Quality care with this practice which is nice since many other vet clinics in the area seem to care more about quantity of patients seen...not the quality of the care.

Horrible experience. We were referred here to do an ultra sound on our two year old. We scheduled the appoint more than a month ago and it was clearly communicated that it was for an ultrasound. We also had it clear that we dont want our girl to get an X-ray as it’s invasive. On the appointment day the lady at the reception acted as if there was no existing reservation. We shouldn’t have proceeded further. After searching for a few minutes finally she was able to locate our ultrasound reservation. The doctor was not very good. And she performed an X-ray. I haven’t seen such unprofessional people ever before. They later sent us an email report (nothing mentioned about the X-ray) with no subject line. I called them three times and were told that the doctor will reach out soon. Till now I haven’t heard back from her. If you love your pets stay away from this place.

Plus one star for accepting new animals. Very friendly staff, but having to wait outside is a little off putting. You will get the service you ask for. Meaning, if you don't have needs, questions, or concerns, solutions won't be offered up freely. What they don't know is what they don't know. They're within walking distance for me, so I'll keep going there for now.

The doctor didn't seem interested at all with my husband or my dog. Seemed like they were mostly pushing for procedures $$$. Nice facility.

Excellent staff . Dr. Coruthers is fabulous. She loves all the kids. They love her too. She took care of our 2 english bulldogs from their first dr visit to their last. They are like family. We now have 2 French Bulldogs and she just spayed and neutered our new babies . We will always bring our babies to Dr.C even when we move. We have been going to sac for over 40 yrs. I do agree that having hospital in the name is misleading as they are not an emergency facility . When you call and get connected to emergency you don't realize you are connected to Pearl . When it happened to me I was so freaked out i assumed it was sac . It was all new because of their move to the new facility . Realizing that you won't find a better vet. Go on the paw plan. It makes it affordable.

It was difficult to find a vet who was taking new pet patients. But I was able to make an appointment for my dog with Sacajawea within a couple weeks. The office is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and spacious. Our vet is compassionate and professional. The front desk staff and technicians are excellent: efficient and friendly.

I took my 6yr old mix poodle for the first time and it was a good experience! We saw Dr Mason and she was super gentle, caring and patient with my dog (she was very nervous). Front desk people and nurses were very kind as well.
