Losing my baby boy to cancer was already extremely tough but Resting Waters was very helpful and empathic of the situation. They answered all my questions, worked with me to get him there, set up a nice staging area to say one last goodbye, & work with me to give him the best. I got his ashes back quick and securely. I appreciate what they did for us and how genuine they are with the procedure. I highly recommend them.

The very fact that you are in a position to be reading these reviews makes me assume you are enduring a unbearably painful time in your life and for that I can't express enough how much my heart breaks for you. But please rest assured that Resting Waters will care for your baby as if they were their own. On December 3rd we said goodbye to our baby boy, Alex, after having loved him for more than a decade. Darcy was very sympathetic and helpful over the phone and Kale, there are not enough words to praise Kale. If we were not in a pandemic I would have hugged that beautiful soul and I'm not a hugger. Kale drove up to Bothell to collect Alex on the 4th and he sat on the floor, pet his body and I could just tell this was a person who was going to love our baby for the short time he had him. And he did. We drove to their business today, the 11th to receive Alex's ashes and everything was packaged so carefully and beautifully. We received a vial of his soft black fur, card paper with his little paw prints, and a plaster pressing of his paw, and of course his ashes with an identifier tag to insure that he wasn't confused with another's sweet baby. (Pictures are of what we received, Alex and this grieving brother Nimbus, and the urn we ordered online) This is not a service anybody ever wants to need but as pet owners we will all find ourselves facing this eventually. I cannot recommend them enough. Their services are very inexpensive compared to traditional cremation but most importantly these people care so very much about their clients and the precious bodies they are trusted with. If you are planning for the future please go hug your baby and cherish them. If you are on the fence this is your sign. Use Resting Waters. You will be so comforted by their service.

Resting Waters was even more amazing than we expected. They were so thoughtful and caring throughout the process; the urn we got from them was beautiful and the paw prints were perfect.

I’m so grateful for this facility - after we unexpectedly lost our kitten, we were able to get an appointment at Resting Waters right away. The staff was extremely kind and empathetic, and we felt 100% comfortable trusting them with our kitten’s last journey back to kitty star. With our package, we received a paw imprint (at a small extra cost), ink prints, fur clippings, A heartfelt card, along with the remains (very carefully packaged) in a beautiful wooden container and the certificate of aquamation. Everything was so well-packed that they survived a rogue attack from my other cat.

I can't say enough good things about them. They are kind and compassionate, gentle and understanding. They work with lovely artists for their memorials and their pieces are enduring expressions of love. I couldn't bear to polute with my sweet service dogs remains and this was a perfect alternative to cremation. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I would highly recommend the lovely people here at Resting Waters, especially if your loved one isn't a fluffy cat/dog. They show so much compassion and understanding, without badgering us about paperwork right away. When our beautiful South American Orange Iguana, Brahm, passed, we called several places to get him cremated, two of which said they wouldn't take him because he's an exotic. That hurt alot. When I finally called Resting Waters, they were friendly and informative, without a trace of an issue with our exotic boy. We were also able to get him in quickly. Had I not called them so close to the end of their day, I probably could've gotten him there sooner, but we *unfortunately* don't get to choose when our babies leave us.

I have had, unfortunately, the very sad experience of losing two beloved pets earlier this year. One was completely unexpected while the other was anticipated. Resting Waters provided caring, exceptional service for such an emotionally difficult time. I was able to make an appointment the next day in both cases. While you choose what service and receptacle you want, they will annoint the body with calming aromatics and stage your pet in the parlor area where you can say goodbye. I was able to take final, peaceful pictures of Fang and Curly to remember them by and hug them for the very last time. About a week later you'll get a call that your pet's remains are ready to pick up. Resting Waters' pandemic protocol was curbside pickup. Even though I'd chosen the low-cost route, I was surprised at how nice the whole package: box, certificate, packet of aromatics, ID - it all looked like it cost more, and yet the cost was on par (maybe even less) with what you'd spend at your vet. I know it sounds nutty but I felt fortunate discovering Resting Waters and the aquamation process. I will choose this method for myself when it's my time.

We worked with Dr. Owens when our kitty was at the end of her life due to late stage feline leukemia. She came to our home to help us say goodbye, and took our girl to Resting Waters. The services they provided have given me so much comfort over the last few months. They have a beautiful selection of urns, when we got Butter back we got ink paw prints, ceramic paw prints, a vial of fur, a letter... it was beautiful. I know the drive into West Seattle is a bit of a headache right now, but it was worth it to honor our girl in the best way we could.

We just got our kitty back today. Resting Waters is AMAZING and I recommend them to anyone experiencing the loss of a pet for the dispensation of their loved one. It's a more eco-friendly way, less violent than traditional cremation, and you actually get more back in remains than you would in a traditional cremation. Additionally, they were AMZING in helping us have remembrances of our kitty (including giving us all of his fur, paw prints, and nose prints). I am so grateful to them and hope others work with them in the future.

My experience this week with the crew at Resting Waters has been exceptional, from the very first tearful call to just now, when I got the courage to open the prints they sent of my baby's claws and tail ???? Sometimes it's hard to find compassion when grieving any pet, but reptiles rarely inspire empathy. They were patient and kind throughout, and Darci let me mourn my Nairo in a way I didn't feel embarrassed about, nor need to justify. I'll never stop missing my little mama, but I'm so grateful that the Resting Waters team made me feel like my care for her didn't have to end with her last breath.

It was a very pleasing experience during one of the most difficult times in life. They were very accommodating all the way from picking up our golden retriever Katie and extending the memorial service time so that our friends could join. These ladies did an amazing job giving Katie a bath and making her as pretty as ever. The whole process definitely eased the pain a bit. Thank you.

Resting Waters did a wonderful job with my guinea pig. She passed on a Sunday night and we were able to bring her to Resting Waters the next day. They clipped some hair from her and put it in a keepsake vial, took ink prints of her paws, and gave me a memorial clay piece with her pressed paw prints. I also purchased a simple wooden urn for her ashes that sits on my nightstand along with her clay paw prints and hair clipping. I really like the environmental aspect of aquamation, so Resting Waters was an obvious choice. I'm so happy I went here rather than doing the traditional cremation route with my vet. I paid around ~$180 for everything (aquamation, clay print, urn, etc.) which is the same price my vet quoted me for a traditional cremation (not including anything additional like an urn or clay paw imprints). I can't recommend this place enough. The customer service is excellent, the prices are fair, and they help make the pain of losing a pet a little bit easier by taking such good care of them. They will do a fantastic job with your pet just like they did with mine.

Resting Waters took such good care of my dog Zoe and I last year, and they are so much more eco-friendly than a flame cremation for the same price. They also care so deeply for their clients and our beloved pets. I recommend them to every pet owner I know when their pets cross the rainbow bridge.

I will definitely be using Resting Waters when the time comes for my handsome cat Teo. When I learned of his diagnosis, I had a lot of questions. But Darci and Joslin addressed my concerns with a compassion, gentleness and grace that let me know how much I could trust them beyond just my questions. Thank you for being there, friends--I feel much better prepared knowing you'll be there for me <3

Kind, compassionate, amazing people. We lost our beloved cat, Jade, on a Sunday. I called Resting Waters and I was just a mess. They were so patient and understanding. We took her in, not sure of what to expect, as this was our first time losing a pet. There was a beautiful bed set up on their back patio for our Jade, with 2 chairs for us to sit in and take time to say goodbye. We got her remains back, along with a lovely vial of her fur, a clay paw print with her name, and a handwritten letter from the company. I can not put into words how grateful we are.

The sisters cared for my sweet lab, Prince Charming, like he was theirs. I am forever thankful. There was a tenderness in the paw print, tuft of hair and whisker that were given to us. They all sit with his remains are on my shelf of honoring those who have died.

Wonderful experience using these guys , when my cat suddenly past away I was referred to Resting Waters , They offered a pick up service which is very convenient when grieving. When calling I was able to get a quick response and was able to have my cat picked up very quickly even when she came at 5pm during rush hour traffic which they were willing to do. There was never any pressure to buy anything that you were not expecting they simply offered serves which can be added. My cat was ready to return home within the two weeks that was quoted. I would highly recommend Resting Waters to anyone who is going thorough the grieving process with a pet

My cat passed away suddenly resting waters was the first place I called. The person who answered the phone was kind, caring and compassionate they got me in the next day. when I brought him in they told me to take all the time I needed to say good bye. I also appreciate that it is an aquamation that is safe for the environment and sounded like such a gentle to have my cat cremated. I had such an amazing experience with them. I highly recommend them.

These ladies got me through one of the worst days of my life. On a day that I didn’t think anything could make me feel better, they gave me some calm in my heart. I felt so much better knowing that they had my dog after he died, and that he was still being treated like a pet instead of a body. I don’t know how they keep it up day after day, but I’m so grateful that they do

I'm not sure I can describe the peace Resting Waters gave us after our dog passed away. Piper and Joslin were absolutely wonderful, warm and knowledgable about the aquamation process and are masters at holding space for grieving families. I'm so thankful for their help during a tough time.

I’m not sure I can adequately put into words how wonderful the ladies at resting waters are. To put this in to perspective I traveled over an hour each way and spent significantly more money because I knew resting waters were the only folks I felt comfortable with. As a funeral director myself, I had many specific questions that were answered easily and without hesitation. From the first phone call I felt like Fig was the most important dog they had ever taken care of, it was evident they truly cared. On arrival the facility smells amazing, that’s weird I know, but my brain now has a good smell and sight association with saying goodbye. I was never rushed, given as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes and then allowed to place fig into the unit. I can not give enough stars here. Ladies keep doing what you are doing. You are bringing comfort to a place where there is often cold resignation.
