We’re very particular about where we take our doodle and finding a groomer was not easy. We trusted K9 and they were amazing. Our sweet boy unfortunately had mats and they were able to shave him down while still keeping some fur on him. They were very communicative throughout the entire process and I loved that once done he was able to hangout in a kennel in the main area where he could still see people and other dogs getting groomed. He smells great and his cut is very even. Would definitely recommend, additionally they also gave him the cutest scarf! Before and after photos attached.

My dog is usually a pretty good behaviored animal. She was raised knowing and experiencing the grooming lifestyle. ❤ However, after a couple grooms the groomer had requested me to not come back! Very Rude!

Beyond happy with Bella's haircut! She had a total transformation today and I appreciate the extra care and attention K9 Design gave her. Everything looks clean and even cozy and they have the sweetest people. They treat your pets with so much love. My pup is older and cold so I let her hair grow out but for a mini poodle thats quickly dangerous and dirty. They were amazing with her and at the end let me know of any trouble areas and kindly gave me tips and advice. They made sure to give her a beautiful even cut, plucked her ear hair gently and slowly, were very mindful of her skin tags and honestly Bella looks like she had a great time there! She was in a fenced area rather than a kennel when she was done and I really loved that. $75 before tip is such a great price and honestly seems low for the quality experience and care (but please don't change that!) They even gifted her the cutest knit scarf, she looks absolutely adorable

K9 Design Grooming Salon is the absolute best! They are great at what they do, and are genuinely kind people. I love that this is a family owned and ran business. They provide exceptional care and are accommodating to various needs for pups. I came upon them in my search for a Spanaway based groomer after being extremely dissatisfied by Woofers down the road (which quite frankly, I only selected because they had a lot of online reviews - don't waste your time with Woofers and their rude staff). I'm so glad that happened because I am now a loyal client to K9 Design. Their quality of service and compassionate staff is unmatched, you can't find this kind of care just anywhere. I have a Norfolk Terrier, which is a breed that requires hand-stripping. I didn't even have to tell them because they immediately knew and were knowledgeable in that area. I was pleasantly surprised as hand stripping is not a commonly offered service at various grooming salons. All in all - you can't go wrong with K9 Design. The kindest souls are running this place and are a true delight to see every time. My pup is happy coming here every time! :)

Called late within an hour of them closing and they were more then happy to do a couple of nail trims. They were super good with my Shibas which is no small feat knowing the breed. Would definitely come again ????

I take my ultra fluffy Alaskan malamute for grooming. He is not an easy dog to groom by any means. The girls do an amazing job all around. The only groomer I will go to!

As always my golden doodle walked out happy, clean, and handsome! I totally recommend this business. I am a college student and they made sure to get Hank out on time for me to make it class, they truly care about their clients.

The ladies in the salon have exceeded my expectations with their kindness, professionalism and great treatment of my dogs. I trust them with my babies completely. I will be a life long customer!

I am a new dog owner and my little guy needed some cleaning up. I reached out to my friends that own pets and checked out the places they recommended. While I was checking out groomers, I came across K9 Design Grooming Salon's website and felt like I wanted a spa day there! I made an appointment for my little guy. When we arrived, I didn't quite know what to expect. We were warmly greeted, my pup was invited into the grooming area and was free to get comfortable with the area while one of the owners and I talked about the process. The sister owners are very knowledgeable, very kind and were attentive to both me and my pup. The owners are great, really care about what they are doing and do a great job for a good price. They don't scrimp on their products, they listen to you, and offer a great menu of treatments for your furry friends. Check them out, they are awesome!

This is a family owned/operated business & the sisters are wonderful! Everyone that I have come across here has been great. They do a great job with our dogs who are very active and tend to have separation anxiety. Our older dog is part shepherd & he has a lot of hair which sheds everywhere. The deshedding that they offer is well worth the extra money! I do not plan on taking our boys anywhere else!

I have been looking for a reliable groomer in the area and I couldn’t be happier with the experience at K9 Design! The owner is lovely and kind. The business is clean and attractive. All of the dogs looked happy and I know my Hank came out very happy! His haircut looked amazing, I couldn’t get over how cute his paws were groomed! I can’t recommend this place enough.

I took my baby there today for the first time for her first groom with us as her new family since I adopted her three weeks ago the owner at the front desk was very friendly she was very calm and she let me stay there until I felt comfortable enough to leave her when I went back to pick her up my for baby was clean and she was happy and the experience was wonderful I even scheduled my next appointment and this will be my new groomer they have my business I highly recommend

Awesome service at a great affordable price. The sisters who own and run this business are great. I bring in my whippets to have their nails dremmeled and my female can be quite feisty and hates having her nails done. With these gals, she’s well behaved, a lil squirmy at times but hasn’t tried to nip them. They allow you to come back and hold your dog which makes for a better experience for the dog...and for everyone. These gals really know how to handle dogs and keep them calmer. The best experience I and my dogs have ever had. Highly recommend this place. They’re now the only place I will take my dogs.

Best experience ever! They were able to squeeze us in as there was a last minute cancellation. I wanted to surprise my step mom by getting her dog groom and they did an amazing job! Best she has ever looked! We won’t go anywhere else now.

I've been going to K-9 Dog Grooming since it's inception and my dog Buddy looks great every time I take him. The staff there is very professional but also very kind with all the dogs in their care. I highly recommend K-9 Dog Grooming.

My long hair Shepherd had not been groomed in several years. She was a mess! K9 took the time to groom her in such a way that the undercoat was not damaged. She looked like a new dog. We could tell she felt better as she prance around the yard. A month later and she still looks wonderful. I highly recommend them.

These two wonderful groomers have the best demeanor and positive attitude there is to have with any type of dog you can imagine. I have been bringing my now one year old great dane Titan to them for the full treatment and each time it gets harder to leave with him because he enjoys being there so much. Danes are prone to allergies with certain shampoos or foods, but this shop knows their stuff and uses nothing with any chemicals that can hurt our fur babies. Both women are very educated and knowledgeable on everything there is to share with owners regarding their family member (pet). I would never trust just anyone with my dog, but I trust them with his well being and happiness plus he always smells great and stays cleaner longer after they take care of him then when I bath him. Go check these wonderful ladies out they wont disappoint!
