One of the best vet clinics I've ever been to! They really care about our dog, and go out of their way to provide personal attention and care.

Great staff. They caught my cats hyperthyroidism very early & we've gotten it treated before he started to lose too much muscle

This is from the owner. We make every effort to offer reasonably priced custom care for pets and their people in a personal neighborhood setting. We're in a 1911 era house, so it's a little quirky, but we get the job done!

I have used this clinic for over 25 years. They are the best! The really have a great bedside manner and really care about your pets. They even compiled for me a remembrance book when my last dog passed away. They are both extremely professional and reasonably price.

We have been using Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital for two years, and they have been wonderful for us. We adopted a pair of kittens a bit young - only about 6 weeks old! - and they helped us make sure we were doing the best thing for our two sweet girls. Dr. Nordeen in particular spent a lot of time with us talking about how to help make sure they stayed healthy and happy, explaining the issues they had and how to best treat them. When one of our cats swallowed some string and had to go in for emergency surgery, they were extremely helpful in making sure she recovered well, again taking extra time to answer our questions and help us learn how to give meds in an effective and painless fashion. They have been excellent to us!

I couldn't be happier with the pet care quality here. Everyone I've met here over the years is friendly, loves animals, is compassionate, and professional. The facility is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They are do good with animals our dog is excited to come here, no matter why. It's a great place.

Phinney Ridge has been our vet for 2 years and has consistently taken the best care of our dog. They shower him with love every time he comes in, know his quirks, and we always leave feelings 100% that he has received the best care. Amazing, friendly, and helpful staff that all clearly love animals.

To give you an idea of how negative my experience was at Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital this is the first google review I've ever felt compelled to write. I've had bad service and experiences, but what occurred today borders on negligence. I brought my 6 yr old Pomeranian in because he's been having accidents inside the house (normally very well house trained), and seems to be overly thirsty. When I called their hospital to make an appointment I told them these exact symptoms. All I was told was to bring him in and they would have his records transferred from his old vet since I just moved to the area. When I arrive, the first thing they ask if he's used the bathroom because they'll need a urine sample. I informed them that he just went on the walk from the car - I could have easily prevented this by carrying him. After talking to the veterinarian she further explains that they need a urine sample because the symptoms sound like it could be a UTI. Since after a walk we were unable to get a sample, they try using a catheter. At this point, I'm sitting in the front office hearing my dog Arlo scream in pain, knowing that it's probably in vain, and could have easily been prevented if I was informed he shouldn't use the bathroom before arriving. I won't go into the details of the rest of my negative experience, but long story short I was promptly charged almost $200 and given an empty cup to get the sample on my own and bring it back. I expressed my displeasure and in response given little to no apology as the person I spoke to rolled their eyes back. In retrospect, I should have probably assumed they may need a urine sample along w/ a blood sample. But when I have ever gone to the doctor personally, or another vet hospital for my dog and a urine sample was required, I was always informed to lay off using the restroom before. Furthermore, it's not a usual situation for me, all I'm thinking about is getting my pet to somebody that can help him. THEY ARE THE EXPERTS AND SHOULD ADVISE ACCORDINGLY. This occurred earlier today. Now I'm left with a dog that was unnecessarily put through pain using a catheter, and needing to collect a sample on my own which I'll take to another vet. I've already requested they send the blood results to another clinic once they arrive.

I cannot speak highly enough of every single person at Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital. In my opinion they are the best general care vet in the area. I have been to a few other vets closer to my home but ultimatley decided on Phinney for my dog's primary care - not just for their expertise but also for the fact that they go above and beyond without fail. My rescue dog Fitz gets very stressed out seeing other animals (usually pretty hard to avoid at a vets office). But at Phinney they do everything they can to ensure as smooth of an experience as possible. The cost seems on par with other locations but they are very respectful of financial considerations when making vet care decisions. I also love how clear and informative they are to ensure I can make the best choices regarding my dog's care. When Fitz has had situations going beyond standard care they have partnered with other locations / specialists to ensure that information is shared freely and everyone is up to date on current the current situation. From the front desk to the technicians and vets themselves - I have never met such a caring group of people. I highly recommend this location.

Very friendly and accommodating. Adopted a rescue cat with several health issues. The Vet was so very thorough and gave me options for me to choose due to finances. She acknowledged my concerns and addressed all of them. I arrive without a cat courier because the shelter courier that was given to me was far to small to get my cat into without traumatizing him and turning my upper limbs into hamburger from my cats nails. They offered me a cardboard box, but soon found me a larger cat carrier to donate to me. I was on tight funds so the carrier was a true blessing. Can't say enough good things about them. I left a message during business hours and my call was returned in under an hour, very impressive. Thank you all for your wonderful support and friendliness. Street parking is easy on Greenwood.

I've been going to Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital for over 15 years. They cared for my Jack Russell and my Wire Fox Terrier. Now they care for my little Schnauzer mix and I can't imagine taking her to any other Vet. The staff and Vet techs are friendly and calm, and the Drs are patient and kind. They successfully performed surgery on two of my dogs and both were healthy and fine afterwards. I highly recommend them.
