Dr. Thompson is knowledgeable, kind, very patient, and nonjudgmental. We also love the techs and staff! Everyone is always happy to help us, answer our questions, and provide us with resources and support whenever needed. We appreciate everything Northwest Veterinary Hospital continues to do to support our little Domo, and in turn ease our new-fur-parents' worries =) Highly recommend!

I have been going to NW Vet and sister clinics for nearly 2 decades. Whether adopting a new puppy, teenager, a few senior dogs, and a unique stray alley-cat, or routine care, minor issues or ER scares, recoveries, or too many euthanasia’s, I have entrusted my furry loves confidently in your care. I value your dedication, professionalism, expertise, care, and compassion. A million woofs and meows of thanks for all you do. The entire staff is valued & noticed.

We have been here now for 2 separate visits with our cats. We have had great experiences so far, with very kind, patient and knowledgeable staff. It was very cute when they complimented our cats- they know how to make the owners feel special! We had an appointment we needed to schedule and within days they were able to accomodate. I appreciate their extra Covid-19 precautions as well. During visit, it was nice to have quality time with Vet and vet tech to talk through my concerns - never rushed. Highly recommend!

Best staff (from the veterinarians to the admins) I've ever seen. Articulate, caring, intelligent, there's not a single thing to even nit-pick. If you are in the area looking for a Vet, I can't recommend them more.

I love how easy it is to get ahold of the providers at this veterinary hospital. They are always so helpful and we get our issues with our puppy taken care of usually within the same day or no more than 3 days. I know it has been a crazy time for veterinary medicine and I’m always bragging about how wonderful this clinic is. This is the first time my husband and I have owned a dog on our own and it’s been a big learning curve. Having this team of veterinarians, technicians, and staff as a resource has made the process that much easier.

Dr. Whereat saved our dog's life when he was young by diagnosing him early with an aggressive form of cancer. He's now an old man of nearly 13 years old and she is still caring for him. I appreciate her compassion, clear explanations and recommendations when we're weighing big decisions and her wisdom. She's an incredible doctor.

NWV has been taking care of our 4 legged family members for 10 years. They have always been competent and professional. I do believe they have the patient's best interests as their top priority. Friendly staff, and COVID conscience as well.

We've been taking our dogs to Northwest Veterinary Hospital for 8 years. The front desk staff, vet techs, and veterinarians are all excellent. Everyone in the office is friendly and they all seem to genuinely care about our pets.

We love the Vets, Techs and Staff at Northwest Veterinary Hospital. They are all responsive, kind, smart, pro-active and so helpful in helping us be the best caregivers for our dog. Since caring for our senior dog and helping his final transition with dignity, at home, through the joy and challenges of helping us raise a new pup who is now a happy, healthy mature dog, we've always been in great hands with the NW Veterinary Hospital team. We can and do HIGHLY recommend them.

The staff are always bright, helpful, and compassionate. Unfortunately, the last few times we've called because our animal is sick, they've been booked solid for at least a week, across all locations. Every time, they've referred us to the ER (so expensive). But looking at reviews here it seems no one else has this problem. Are we blacklisted? I couldn't imagine why? Regardless, it really is a fantastic clinic, if you can get an appointment. :) UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review, we began to have more luck with this location, which is greatly appreciated by us and our little dog.

The staff at NW Veterinary Hospital are always so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they're taking precautions to protect everyone from COVID while still making the visit process quick and easy. The doc really took the time to answer all of my questions about my kitty's care and feeding and I know he's in excellent hands with these folks.

These people are so lovely. We haven't been able to join our cats in the room since the pandemic hit so it's always been a little stressful to send them in, but the staff at Northwest have been great at communicating what we need to know and allowing us to ask questions.

I recently moved to West Seattle which is a bit of a drive to your clinic, and while I’m sure there are great veterinarians in my new location - I will continue to bring my furbabies to your clinic. All desk staff and techs are very nice and professional. I was sent to NW Veterinary hospital from Greenlake animal hospital because no vet was available for my 14 yr old dog’s urgent matter about 2 years ago. Dr. Heeren squeezed us in and I was immediately sure I found my vet. Not letting her go! :) She is very knowledgeable, explains everything really well (I never feel like I’m being rushed) and always returns calls in timely manner to any of my questions. I also saw Dr. Whereat twice because Dr. Heeren was out of the clinic that day. In both cases it was my decision to see Dr. Whereat rather than waiting 2 days for Dr.Heeren. Dr. Whereat also explained everything really well both times. Neither doctor ever “forced” me to do all the tests under the son. They explain, recommend, give suggestions and I ultimately make the decision based on the info I was given. And I trust their recommendations. Thank you all! :)

Everyone on staff is absolutely lovely! So sweet to my anxious dog and wonderful to work with.

Excellent care and service, clear covid-19 instructions.

We have been taking our 17 month old Standard Poodle here since she was a 2 month old puppy. She never seems nervous or or timid about going inside with them. The staff are all so caring and friendly. Since the beginning of COVID they have done a great job of adhering to safety practices. I would highly recommend them to pet owners.

Very friendly, great with my dog and answered all my questions about my dogs health. They also are very well organized and able to get me in promptly even though I was a new client.

I started going to this clinic last year. Everyone who works there is so kind. I just got a dog and they treat him so well. Anytime I had a question about my dog's treatment, I could talk to one of their vet techs in the same day. They'd even call to check in over the week after prescribing treatment. They're incredibly responsive over email. They help me work with my pet insurance. The vets and vet techs are all very knowledgeable and are able to explain my dog's issues in a way I can understand. Overall, I'm so grateful to this staff for how well they treat my animals.

They are amazing! We sadly moved so we don’t go there but I am still very grateful for their entire staff. They always were helpful and quick at giving us tips and tricks and help our dog who isn’t crazy about going to the vet. Thank you so much for all you did for us and Mochi
