I really liked greentreel medical clinic as they were kind to my twenty year cat bit found out they don't partner with the humane society to offer one free followup service as all the rescue animals are thoroughly examined and you get a full medical background not tests and results so you'd have to pay to get that all done there. Just out to make money. I don't see that as a company who truly wants to help animals or support rescue animals. They will charge you for tests you just had done again because it wasn't in "their office,". I'm not getting more shots she already received them so if they don't honor medical history then by law they have to assume the animal has had nothing and do all the shots. They either accept medical record transfers or not and they don't but will gladly charge you to redo an exam you just did. Any vet who doesn't honor or at least suppose humane society is not a company I'd ever reccomend

One of the employees that works here named Jonni Lynn Matthews backed her car into me on SW Oregon St then did not pull over. She proceeded to pull into her place of employment “Greentree Animal Hospital” parking lot and have all of the employees that work there come out into the parking lot and harass me to the point I had to call the police. They were making her out to be a victim and making me into some criminal. They were talking about personal things that this woman went through that had nothing to do with her backing her car into me. Playing victim when they were in the wrong. Then I was repeatedly asked why I was in the parking lot and harassed by an older woman that works at this clinic who was in my face for over 45 min, talking down to me as if I was a child. They whole staff came outside to harass me not even knowing that their coworker hit me on company time. These people are unethical and the definition of a “Karen”. I’m from this community and felt like they are a disgrace to West Seattle.

We love all the staff here cause they treat our pup like one of their own. It was especially nice to know they had AC when we boarded our dog there over the summer when it was 100 degrees out

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE IF YOU TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR WELLBEING!! GO TO JET CITY ANIMAL CLINIC!! Our 18 yr old Bichon was extremely lethargic and not really responding to much. We called Green Tree Animal Hospital just before they were about to close and wanted to just speak to a vet on the phone for a short conversation about what we may need to do. They refused to speak with my husband and so we tried to escalate to the owner of the practice and have him give us a call the next day. We called the next day to tried to speak speak with someone again and were informed we are no longer welcome to their clinic. Green Tree Animal Hospital is extremely unprofessional and cares for nothing but money. If you want a place that actually cares about your pet and family, I would highly recommend Jet City Animal Clinic. We took our business back to them and they were completely amazing.

I've gone to Greentree for 17 years and have taken 5 dogs to them. I had an 18 year old Bichon Frise, "The Ricky" who was neutered by them when he was one year old. They have provided compassionate care at times and the doctors are talented. Considering the relationship and how much business I have given them, they should be as considerate and compassionate as possible and understand how important my dogs are but recently they have NOT and only seem to care about money. They have always charged more money than other providers and I have no issue with that, and they should provide excellent service considering, yet this has not happened. Recently when my old dog was having issues I asked that they fit him in as he was dying. They said no, and this is understandable. I then asked for a 5 minute call with doctor Dunphy. She told the support staff which relayed to me that "It's just not going to happen!" with no further explanation. Dr Kleven refused to take my calls when I attempted to escalate the issue. I feel that this is unacceptable and would encourage others to boycott Greentree for this. My dog, "The Ricky" has now passed.

Back in August 2020 received a very weird call from the secretary about how she wanted to buy my dog and that he was her “soulmate” right after getting his free checkup from just adopting him. Extremely creepy.

The doctors and staff at Greentree are amazing. They are super responsive, see our dog quickly and spend the time to explain any tests or diagnoses. I am so glad we found them!

We used this vet since August 2020 due to COVID restrictions with our old vet. Our dog never had any issues for the first 8 months with GT, covering a new pet initial eval, annual shots, and even when her knee was injured back in November. Service was great and we only received positive feedback. ("she is so sweet", "she is a great dog" and "lots of kisses" etc. That all changed a few months back. We had 2 horrible experiences with Greentree staff, never received any follow up, and were told that our pet is a problem. I was literally scolded in the parking lot by a staff member. Completely unprofessional. Direct reflection on management and proper training. Customer service??? We will be moving our pets care back to our old vet. It is more expensive but well worth it when you consider how you and your pets are treated. Greentree staff should consider reading their own mission statement.

Love Dr. Klevin and Dr. Dunphy! They are both so good to our dogs. Our older dog is a little quirky but Dr. Klevin gives reassurance that he is in good hands and takes such good care of him.

I read all the google reviews and decided to go to Greentree. While the doctor is very knowledgeable and caring, I had 2 unfavorable experiences with them. For both time, the front office lady told me the wrong info and the vaccination schedule was totally messed up. For today, my pup was scheduled for the very last vaccine, and I was looking forward to taking him for walk during Thanksgiving holidays..However, the doctor told us it’s too early and my pup needs to wait for another week. I found this out only when I got to the vet... If the internal communication goes well, this sort of things won’t happen. My schedule during the holidays with my pup was completely gone.

We recently began taking our youngest dog to Greentree. Rho is a challenging dog that experiences anxiety with new people and is very reactive with other dogs. I was experiencing a good deal of anxiety myself when I decided it was time for him to find a new vet for his care. I called Greentree and explained Rho’s situation in hopes that they would be able to accommodate. We have been turned down recently due to covid restrictions and my inability to enter most veterinary offices with him to handle him inside. I was quickly assured that they could take him in without issue. Upon arrival, they verified that the lobby was cleared for him and were sure that he had his own separate room. Dr. Stein was thorough on the phone after his examination and gave me all of the information that I needed. All of my questions were not only heard, but answered. The relief that I felt after speaking with both Dr. Stein and Rene was incredible. They told me how sweet he was, despite his anxiety, and provided me with options for the treatments that he needed with a full price breakdown. Needless to say, we have found long-term primary care. Thank you to Dr. Stein and Rene!

They took SUCH good care of our mini dachshund. She was in need of extensive dental care, and they did an excellent job with her cleaning and necessary extractions. Her follow up visit was thorough, and they explained the healing process and future care to me very well. I appreciated all the time and love they gave my pup! So happy to have found such a wonderful veterinary clinic so close to home!!

I stumbled into greentree because my other vet couldn’t see my dog for three weeks due to covid delays. I am SO grateful I did. My senior dog, Hazer, was struggling with arthritis, and despite the difficulty that covid brings to vet visits, Dr. Stein explained everything in detail over the phone and provided me with a host of options considering my budgetary restrictions. Even better, she’s incredibly kind. We have been frequent flyers since his initial vet visit, because Hazer had surgery and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Therefore, we have had the pleasure of working with each vet, and they are all absolutely wonderful. We also are very fond of Rene and the rest of the administrative staff. All in all, this is a wonderful place to take your pet, and you will be so glad you took them here for their care. Thank you, Greentree!

Greentree is "okay" but not great. I took my dog here once several years ago and had pledged to not return, but just brought him back for an eye issue that was urgent and they had an opening to see him. To be fair - the staff and vet techs are all pretty great - but I don't vibe with the doctors at all. I feel like they are "nice" but in a very surface way and their prices are not cheap; plus a heads up that you will not receive a breakout of fees until after you've paid. My dog's eye issue ended up being something he needed to go to a specialist for, after 3 separate visits to Greentree. When I called the eye-doctor, the specialist asked me to contact Greentree to ask if the doctor could do a quick doctor-to-doctor consult with the specialist so they could evaluate when to see my doggo. When I called Greentree I was told "the doctor will send over the records but that should give them everything they need". The specialist then called back to reiterate that a brief conversation would be helpful but still wasn't given any time. Today I received a brief email from Greentree saying that my dog should be seen "sooner than later" but still no one would reach out directly to the specialist. I understand that time is money, but I've spent $450+ for 3 15-minute visits, a cone, and some eyedrops -- it would have been nice for the doctors who said "they just loved my little patient" to spend 5-10 minutes talking about his needs with the specialist that they referred me to. In short - "Okay" service, but could be more personal and authentic.

I have a service dog whose job it is to be with me and alert. When i called to book my appointment they refused me service unless they seperated me from my service dog. This is an ADA Violation and Dr. Klevin should be ashamed in how their clinic staff handled this situation.

I can’t recommend this clinic highly enough. I brought my cat in on a Friday morning with an issue that was much more serious than I thought it was, they got him in immediately, and saved his life. Dr. Stein and Dallas at the front desk have been communicative, honest, knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate the whole way, willing to work with me and explain my options comprehensively, and understanding about financial limitations. Hands down the best veterinary care my pet has ever received.

Our first visit was under Covid-19 restrictions. They handled our visit with great aplomb. Very kind. .

Our experience has been reduced to a 1 star due to the unprofessionalism of their front desk staff. We scheduled a tooth cleaning and were called on 2 separate occasions to reschedule - originally delaying our appointment by 2 weeks, then another 3. This was due to a vendor delay in delivery of equipment. That I can understand. However what I can’t understand is the fact that their front desk receptionist took an extremely defensive and disrespectful tone with us and hung up twice when we pushed to get more information to better understand the situation and new timelines with our appointment. Shame on Greentree for hiring individuals who resort to hanging up the phones on customers and not working through an issue together. This will sink your business if you let this continue.

Still feels like a small town vet. Love the care they provide and how they're protecting owners and their pets from COVID.

They were able to slot us in early in the morning when my cat was having some problems. Very glad they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. Plus, the staff is super friendly and very capable. Will definitely return.

The most rude, uninformed staff I have ever dealt with. They don't know the basic rules, medication information, etc, misinformation, lies, after years of conflict we left. Stress inducing experience.
