We’ve had very positive experiences and great care for our crew of pets from the team at CC vet. I also want to give a special shout-out to Dr. Shroeder and Jeana who went above and beyond to help us when our senior pup needed emergency care.

Incredible team of vets, techs, assistants, and front desk. I'm blown away by how responsive the team is in getting our kitten the care that he needs with his condition, whether it is in refilling his meds, getting his special diet food, or returning our call for urgent checkups and tech visits. Their prices are also very reasonable. We're blessed to live so close by to such a great clinic.

Lots of hard working people, increase in pet ownership has changed my personal experience. They did great work on my little dude for years. Good luck with your pet!

Overall this place provides great care for my two dogs for routine procedures. The problem is their policy when you need your pet seen for a sickness/issue. You have to call at 730a for a “same day” appointment which are very limited. If the issue arose after that, good luck getting care here, you’ll be invited to call at 730a the next day (if you can get through at that time) or seek care somewhere else. Their front desk staff has become incredibly rude, forgetting there are long time patients and customers here who just want their pet to be seen by their vet. It is unfortunate how the level of service and accessibility has goes down here, it used to be an awesome place.

I was very impressed with the care and treatment we received yesterday when we had our cat euthanized. I am a LVT but did not want to go to my place of work for such a difficult and personal event. We did not feel rushed, the staff were very professional and calm, there was no air of stress in the building at all. The staff were all pleasant and polite and our dear little Aero had such a peaceful end in a caring environment. Thank You.

Went to CCVH for the first time last month. The team is put-together and knowledgeable, they had me in early BOTH times I've seen them. Vet pegged my dog's allergy in the first 5 minutes and was right - it's been a life-changer for me and my pup! Thanks!

This is the Vet I went to when my much loved, long term Vet Dr Young in Rainier Beach sold his practice. I was impressed with the care my elderly cat received from Dr. Lizzy Dean and the rest of the staff. I feel confident that their care allowed my furry friend to live another year and a half of good quality life.

We love this vet! Even in times of COVID they have been personable, attentive, and quick responses to email and phone. I was leaving town and needed to get my pup a flu shot and they were able to get her in next day. They also helped me track down her previous records to determine whether or not she'd need a booster. They have really stepped up where past experiences with other vets have fallen through. I live in the area so location is convenient, but I'll continue to make the drive should we ever move. They are worth it!

I have been taking my senior cat here for about 2.5 years. They have taken amazing care of him, and always are upfront about cost, needs, and the reasoning behind everything. On top of that Lizzy Dean, vet and co-owner, goes above and beyond in explaining in detail to me my cat's condition and all the ends and outs. I always feel well taken care myself, and like my cat (as grumpy as he is going to the vet!) seems to get the highest level of care.

I had a very good experience with Columbia City Vet. They were very professional, informative and courteous. Was in and out with my Rusty boy in less than an hour.

Dr. Lizzy is incredibly caring, professional and knowledgeable. I completely trust her expertise and recommendations for my pet's health and longevity. Clinic communication is excellent and Dr. Lizzy follows up with a personalized video reporting on your pet's test results which I think is a great value add to the care. My appointments have been prompt and timely and all communication leading up to them, including new COVID protocol has been seamless and well done. I love this clinic and though I have closer options, I choose to drive from 30 minutes away to have my pet taken care of here.

I moved to Seattle about a year ago, I was very thorough when looking for vet clinics. I love this clinic! It's small but very friendly atmosphere, and amazing staff! Would recommend it to anyone else.

Dr.Lizzy is the best vet I have ever worked with. She genuianly loves all the pets and does a great job communicating in a way that we can understand with what is going on with my pet. I am sad that I had to leave Seattle, but Sadie LOVED this place. Thank you all again for your support and helping get Sadie feeling better again.

Columbia City Veterinary Hospital is by far the best place to take your pets. I was incredibly nervous for my little one as it was her first vet visit and it was not for a routine health check. I received such a warm welcome and was calmed by Dr. Lizzy Dean. She answered my million questions and was so sweet to my fur baby. I even requested that they put one of her favorite toys in with her and they did! I love their texting options and they are very quick to respond. Both Dr. Lizzy Dean and the hospital attendant Imani were terrific! I cannot thank them enough for helping our little family out. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Such a wonderful vet and staff! They are so helpful, kind, and willing to answer my MANY questions. I felt very comfortable with my (very anxious) dog in their hands.

Otis actually loves it here, despite the nervous shakes. They're very good with him and I. Definitely my vet for the life of him and future pets. Highly recommended. ❤️❤️

I’ve never written an online review before, but Columbia City Vet deserves it. When our cat had a reaction to his vaccine, we took him back in and they gave him a Benadryl shot at no cost. Our dog gets excited just going in. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve been to a lot of different vets, and CCV is my favorite.

The staff's lack of experience translates with their very expensive treatment plans. They are not sure or certain about anything and therefore, they run all sorts of tests so the bills for my dogs are often in the $200 - $300 range for a visit that should not cost more than $60 - $80. The more expensive visit's I've had here are in the $1k+ range and I've always left feeling uneasy about how much I am being charged. Here is the final straw however - I had an appointment this Spring and ended up waiting for two hours. I then elected to leave my dog their based on their request for more time. I didn't have a choice since we were heading into the weekend and need my dog seen. Hours later, I had not received a call (they said she should be seen in the next hour) so I called to check status and they still hadn't gotten to her. Zero communication ruined all plans that evening with out of town guests and I received a $280.00 bill for treating Giardia (gross)! It doesn't stop there, I had to pay for a full appointment for shot updates for Bordatella when we had already done a full wellness check earlier that year but they refused to do it with out another full exam so I ended up skipping the service and going somewhere else...Urban Animal and the total cost was $60.00. I kindly let the Dr. know that it was unacceptable one afternoon after I had had enough. I had not been back sense until my husband was in the neighborhood this afternoon and decided to give them another try and dropped in for a nail trim. He walked in and they tried to tell him that they had never seen one of our dogs (quite the opposite) and that they required proof of a rabies shot to do a nail trim...which is ironic since she had her last rabies shot with them. He walked out in disbelief. That's it... we're driving all the way to Cap Hill for a nail trim and never going back to CCVH. Do not recommend.

We took our pup, Charlee, here who has an abundance of allergy issues. We knew what we wanted and what has historically worked for her. They were prompt with scheduling, getting records from our out of state vet, and even re-scheduling our appointment we scheduled a lot sooner (day of!). The place is clean, they have really cool marketing, and the staff are all really nice. Regarding pricing, I found this to be one of the most transparent prices I've ever seen. I'm a healthcare professional myself and I've never seen a place more open to the cost. I wish hospitals were like this. The doctor broke down everything before we went to the counter in room privately so there was no shock once we went to the counter. The only downside was our pup is very (!!) people anxious so they couldn't complete all of the bloodwork needed today because our dog wasn't very cooperative in the back. May not be the greatest for uber anxious pets but still a great place with great staff and honest pricing.

Highly recommend. They are straight-forward, and Dr. Lizzy is very nice and personal in discussing your pet. I appreciated their communication via email and ability to answer questions after the appointment. Will definitely be bringing my dog back here, they are great.

as a fellow veterinarian (large animal), I have known Dr Lizzy Dean (and her horse!) for years and she has a way above average energy and dedication to medicine and animals. She is an cutting edge practitioner, has the rare balance of being both practical and truly compassionate. I have total confidence in Columbia City Vet and bring my own animals and those of my family to her practice for anything I cannot do myself!

This place is the best vet I have ever been to. Being a new puppy mom, I freak out a lot and no matter how many times I call them, they are ALWAYS so nice and beyond helpful. They're so sweet to my puppies and take good care of them. I honestly am never taking my dog to any other hospital. I'd give y'all 1000 stars if I could but I'm limited to 5 so there you go

Personable, friendly, attentive and integral to the community. You'll find this place offers medicine that isn't rushed so fast that silly errors are made. The staff is genuinely friendly and they make you feel right at home. I love the small space and local vibe of this clinic. Stop in and say hi sometime I guarantee you they'll be happy to see ya. I previously thought that a walk-in model was perfect, but not when it comes to medicine. And the great thing is, if you have a serious issue or a concern that you feel needs immediate attention - the team will make it work. Even if it's just a paranoid pet daddy worried about nothing. Thanks Columbia City Vet! Ya'll rock.

CCVet is incredible! Very considerate and tender care when our elderly cat came to the end of his life. And super responsive, including a house call, when one of our pups was in too much pain to be lifted into the car. They're more than a business - they're genuine humani-doga-cata-tarians! ❤️

Amazing vet. Very friendly and nice facility. Vet really went the extra mile to figure out what was wrong with our dog. Really took the time to talk through everything. Was conscious of costs as well.

We love taking our dog here. They treat him and us so well and they do such a good job with him. They have a traveling surgeon that comes through for more serious procedures which we have had to use before. I'd highly recommend people in the area to take there pets here!

Wonderful staff and very friendly doctors who really took the time to help an aging Greyhound get the best care plan out of life. The hyper Terrior mix gets his nails done without a squeak and they e-mail me notifications on upcoming shots and results of labs. Tech Savvy with good people and pooch skills!
