Camp Crockett has been a blessing to our family. We have a very active pug who can't get enough playtime with his buddies. We have boarded a few times over the holidays and I've always received great feedback when I call to check in and that peace of mind is priceless. Also, the owners and staff have been very informative when we have questions about training and resources to use. These are great people to work with.

My husky has been using Camp Crockett on Delridge for almost 3 years now and we love it. The staff is great when it comes to dealing with my hard headed dog and he always runs in the door to say hi his buddy Josh. There outside area is huge with ample shade and spaces to run. We have an activity tracking collar and my boy averages over 3 miles everytime he's there, which is just unbelievable, there's no way I could give him that kind of exercise on a walk after work. We really couldn't be happier.

Camp Crockett is a lifesaver! My "little dog" (128lbs Irish wolfhound mix lol) Grumm loves it here and the staff are so sweet and awesome! He's a very happy and excitable boy but they haven't had a single problem handling him in the two years he's been going. He loves it there, and I love knowing my boy is safe and happy when he can't be with me.

Very bad experience at this place. Our dog came home after being boarded for 4 days and his paws were sore so we let him rest for a few days. His paws continued to get worse and it turns out both front paws had infections. When we took our dog to the vet she stated that this has happened before with dogs at Camp Crockett. We called the owner to address the issue and he would not listen to us saying our dog was fine when he was there and offered no support eventually cutting us off and hanging up on us. Our dog is still currently healing. After paying $240 for boarding as well as over $300 for vet visits and meds and having our dog on bed rest for weeks I can say this has been a truly horrible experience. I would not recommend anybody taking their dog here.

*This review is being changed from 5 stars in December 2019 to 1 star in August 2020* We have boarded our dog here several times over the last year. This review is for our latest experience, 08/27/2020-08/30/2020 (Thursday-Sunday) at the Delridge/West Seattle location. I dropped off my dog in the afternoon on 08/27/2020 with enough food for 6 meals and asked to have his nails trimmed for an extra $15 on the day of drop off, everything was normal and friendly. I picked him up afternoon on 08/30/2020 and was told he was very friendly. I mentioned that his nails were still untrimmed so they must have forgotten or been too busy. The employee offered to call the owners to find out what happened but I declined since I figured it was just overlooked. In the car I checked the bag I was given and realized I was given back all of the food I sent--all 6 meals. He ate a whole bowl of food as soon as he got home. My husband called Camp Crockett when I got home and showed him all of the food that was returned and the employee, Jaime, told us that she usually worked at another location and would contact the owners and call us back. An hour later, she called back and told us that the owners told her our dog didn't eat much when they fed him, so it was returned back to the Ziplock bags. Mind you, we were given back what looked to be ALL of the food that was sent. He is exhausted so he clearly was exercised a lot, which means he should definitely have eaten something. What they are saying is that he did not eat for 4 days and we were not informed with a phone call or notified when I picked him up. I have boarded dogs professionally for two years in my home and would expect to give owners much more information than "xxx is friendly" if a client's dog was clearly not eating for an extended period of time. It's very common for dogs to skip a few meals when they stay in an unfamiliar place...6 meals deserves AT LEAST an email or phone call or mention at pickup. To me, this means my dog is not getting the overnight family care that is advertised. We will not be returning, especially since this stay cost us $180 where my dog was not fed or had a requested service performed. Several times when we have boarded here, we were returned quite a bit of food but this was a longer stay than normal and was very concerning. Now I'm questioning his prior stays as well. The owner seems very nice from the one time I spoke to him, but this is incredibly disappointing.

Terrible customer service when inquiring about boarding my dogs. A young punk kid with a "Yup" attitude. I can only imagine how they treat my dogs while away. "Yup"......I choose to NOT use you and suggest others do the same. Yup.

They take our lunatic Border Collie for the day, she comes home and passes out after playing like the little demon she is. Worth it.

We love Camp Crockett and so does our dog! We have a Labrador who loves to play, and he sprints into Camp Crockett smiling and leaves with an even bigger grin. The team in West Seattle is exceptional and you can tell they truly care about the dogs. I've noticed a few reviews about paws being damaged by the gravel... We've had no issues with this, but we take our dog for regular walks and play outside on all terrains. LET YOUR DOGS PLAY!!!! You will thank yourself for taking your dog to Camp Crockett when they come back happy and tuckered out from play!

Yet again we've been floored by another experience with Camp Crockett West Seattle. It's been a while since they've been able to get a groomer in and when we saw in their newsletter they were offering grooming again we jumped at the opportunity. We've taken our golden to a number of places all over West Seattle, I've even tried grooming her myself during the pandemic, and we've never been truly happy with the results. That all changed with Chelsie (spelling?). I called to confirm an appointment for her grooming and dropped her off early in the day so she could play and then be groomed before I picked her up that evening. Chelsie was super helpful, laid out what I could expect with the grooming, asked if I had anything I wanted her to focus on and Delilah was all set. She even offered to take her upstairs to hang out inside once she was done so she could avoid going back outside in the rain and just get filthy again. This was going above and beyond and we certainly appreciated it. (Delilah would have loved to jump go romp around in the rain afterwards though. ;) ) After all said and done this was the most affordable and best grooming result we've ever had. I would definitely recommend getting your furry child groomed at Camp Crockett. I can't say enough wonderful things about what the owners, Joe and Vanessa, have done with Camp Crockett. While I haven't personally been to the Little Campers, off 35th, or the location in Burien, you should know everything from the way they've put their camps together, structured their rates and kept all of us informed throughout all of the pandemic with their newsletters they pour everything into making Camp Crockett a safe and wonderful place for your four-legged family members to be.

I was really hoping this would be the place I could bring my pup as needed because it’s close to my house and the facility looked great! When I got there, the associate let me know that my dogs paws might be a little sore after a full day of play because of the type of gravel they use. That made me a little nervous but had already planned on leaving him there all day after the temperament test and figured it couldn’t be that bad! However, after I brought him home, I noticed he was limping a bit at first and it got worse the next day. He didn’t eat his breakfast or dinner and was super lethargic. I ended up taking him to the vet because I was worried he was sick but the vet let me know that when puppies are in pain that can be enough to make them not want to eat or drink. She also said he had some small, bloody, open sores on his paw pads! I called the facility to let them know that they should put a warning up on their site regarding the tough gravel, rather than wait until owners are ready to drop them off so that they can make a better informed decision. The manager was super nice and helpful but I’m definitely going to go elsewhere for daycare unfortunately. If your dog is an outdoor dog or an adult they may be just fine as there were plenty of happy dogs there! But if they’re a puppy or an indoor/outdoor dog, I’d carefully consider it. The gravel must be inexpensive and easy to clean but it makes me sad that it hurts some pups!!

The owner is probably great with dogs, but terrible customer service. They will not allow you to fill out the waiver on the premises, which they do not tell you ahead of time. I was running a few minutes behind, still within their grace period, but decided to go inside to fill it out so they knew we were there. It’s a short waiver, nothing out of the normal or atypical. Would have been better off filling it out in the car as I got kicked out for not having it filled out and another dog was coming in right at that moment. Wouldn’t even talk to me about it. I emailed the owner hoping to work something out and it turned into a nasty email encounter. I’ve never experienced anything even remotely close to this from a company before, especially a small local business. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone, there’s plenty of other doggie day camps to choose from.

My dog has been going to this place for about 3 years. I use both the Burien and West Seattle locations and find the staff to be amazing at both locations. The owners are a couple that live on site, so when I board my pup I don't have to worry about my dog being stuffed in a kennel and left alone all night. Instead my dog is in the owners' home, relaxing on the couch, or cuddling up with another dog on a doggie bed in the living room. The staff always lets me know if there are any incidents (for example, my dog was lethargic one day), and worked really hard to gain my dog's trust. I always recommend this place. Even if they do goof up, which has happened, they work hard to make it right! I truly love this place.

Staff is beyond rude! I called numerous times asking to schedule my dog and each time I was treated with disrespect and a Terrible attitude.Constantly have attitude when I call and no one is ever off their phone when I go to get my dog from burien. The staff at Camp Crockett live that dream we all aspire for, that is loving their job so much they don't ever "work" a day. They love all the dogs and were genuinely excited to see my pup, and the owner Joe, almost seemed a little sad that I came to pick him up. They had a ton of information about his stay, and it showed how much they love the dogs and enjoy watching over them. Anytime I need a space for my dog, or anyone asks, Camp Crockett will be my only thought.

This is a great place for our active dog. It's convenient and the package deal is cost effective. Knowing we can board her here is also helpful. She leaves each day tired and happy and with a bunch of new friends.
