Dr. Amy in one word - Angel! Our labradoodle, Linus, had a very sudden onset of disease, and Dr. Amy went out of her way to prioritize a visit to our home. She entered with gentle, empathetic energy, walked us through a beautiful process, and allowed us the time and space we needed to say goodbye to our fur-baby. I simply could not provide a higher recommendation than House Pet Vet Visits and Dr. Amy. Thank you for guiding our "pack" through this challenging time!

Had a very good experience working with Dr. Amy Cottrille. From the day we brought our golden retriever home from the ER to when we had to send her to puppy heaven 3 weeks later, Dr. Amy was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive, offered great tips and advice on what to watch for and provided a very caring and professional experience at our home when when our pups final day came. While we miss our dog tremendously, having Amy caring touch there at the end made us know she was in good hands.

What an incredibly caring human Dr. Amy is. Couldn't recommend enough.

Our cat went into heart failure, and we did NOT want to further traumatize him by crating him up and heading to an ER clinic. Our regular vet recommended Dr. Catrille for home euthanasia, and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was so incredibly warm, caring, compassionate and sensitive to both our cat and us. She did not rush the process, and her approach to euthanasia was so gentle and smooth. Our Wylie slipped peacefully away on our couch, with no stress, anxiety or fear. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Catrille. She clearly adores animals and treats them as if they were part of her own family. BLESS YOU, DR. AMY!!!

Amy is a wonderful vet who cares as much about your pets as you do. She has been taking care of my cats for years. She is incredibly compassionate. She is very bright and will spend hours investigating unusual symptoms or possible treatment plans.

I can’t recommend Dr. Cottrille enough. My 17 year old cat was having problems for a few weeks so we had scheduled an euthanization for the next afternoon. He suddenly took a turn for the worse and we weren’t sure he’d make it through the night. After calling tons of 24 hour clinics and mobile vet services we finally got a call back from Dr. Cottrille and explained Buster’s situation. She agreed to come out and help us end his misery even though it was 9:00 at night. She is so kind and thoughtful, doing a quick examination to ensure we were making the right decision, talking us through the process, and then during the process asking us about what Buster was like. Dr. Cottrille was not just there to do the job, but actually cared about Buster and made sure we had the time we needed to say goodbye. She even carried a clay piece with her so I could have a paw print of Buster. The final piece that let me know we had the right person come was when she took him away, she carefully laid him in a cat bed she’d brought and tucked him in with a blanket so he just looked like he was peacefully sleeping. I am so thankful for Dr. Cottrille and her care, she made a heartbreaking moment a tiny bit easier for my family and let us know we made the right decision. I would have her come and take care of my pets again in a heartbeat and for any service, not just euthanization. Thank you so much, Dr. Cottrille - the world needs more vets like you.

It’s a very difficult thing when your family friend of 13 years is near the end of his life and has lost his mobility, some faculties and is in pain everyday. You don’t want to have to make the choice for him, but you do. Dr. Amy Cottrille came to our family and supported and guided our family and our pet through this process. She was warm and kind and knew all the right things to offer and say. She made our dog comfortable and peaceful and was a great comfort to us as well. I appreciate what she was able to do for us and our dear family pet.

Dr. Amy's love for pets and people was so comforting to our family when we had to say goodbye to our furry friend. She was responsive and knowledgeable, allowing us to keep our pet with us as long as possible... but not so long that she was suffering. Our Izzie passed peacefully in comfortable surroundings and with her persons, without the anxiety of a trip to a clinic. Very professional and compassionate.
