Dr. Maxey and the team at North County Hospital have been nothing but kind, helpful and attentive. Moving here from out of state it was difficult to fine a veterinarian. North County Animal Hospital was recommended to us by another vet who was not accepting new patients. I could not be happier with the care my sweet dog receives and the kindness I have been given.

Incompetent doctors and rude staff will make you wish you never came here, they left my pet in worse condition then when I first brought her here, after 3 visits and multiple tests they continued to misdiagnosed and give inappropriate treatment and just put a bandaid on the problem rather than getting a correct diagnosis and correcting the issue. If you love you pet do not take them here.

My pets, a kitten and dog, have received nothing but the best care and service. Doggo had pancreatitis a few months ago and after we tried another vet who did nothing for 9 hours. Not giving any care, WATER OR FOOD, while her heath got worse. I was super happy North county was able to triage care for my dog, IV fluids, provide a diagnosis, and help us in treatment. I went from being so sad, angry and scared with the other place, to fully confident and happy my pet got care! Can't thank you enough for helping my dog. Now we've got a fun kitten who's getting all his vaccines, labs, and a scheduled surgery. We love you guys!

They have been so helpful over the years with my 3 loves. I have a cat that gets high anxiety in those situations and they have done a great job calming her. They always take time to love the babies.

My rabbit was examined and treated by Dr. Lane today, I couldn't be with my fuzzy girl but after speaking with the vet I felt relieved and confident that she was well cared for. I took my rabbit to another clinic two days and it turned out to be a real nightmare. North County was not all about how much I wanted to spend on my girl, it was about what we could do for her. I'm abundantly grateful for all they could do. Thank you Dr. Lane and your assistant Taylor.

Very kind staff and I felt my kitten was in good hands even though I had to sit in my car while they came out to get her due to covid restrictions. They were very thorough in explaining everything and was much appreciated. Thank you!

I recently moved to the area and needed a new vet. My dog needs Apoquel for allergies. The vet would not provide a prescription without a blood test. My previous vet didn't require one and my new vet did not require one. Their Apoquel price was also higher. The bill was $493.00 for a month of Apoquel, 1 Bravecto, the exam and blood test. Fortunately, I was finally able to get into Valley Vet.

Their staff does not understand that our pets could be uncomfortable at a vets appointment. Also a couple of times they didn’t have the meds that we needed so we had to come back for them. They suggested treatments for our pets that they didn’t actually needed.

Vet was indignant that my cat needed Rabies vaccine when Iknow she had a three year last year. I did not like how she talked with me. I will not be returning to this place as a result. Other staff seems nice and friendly hence the 3 stars.

My many pets have been going to this hospital for a few years now and I couldn't be happier. The staff are professional and very knowledgeable and the cost for service is reasonable for the quality of care. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a vet service.

Dr. Lane is the most caring and supportive veterinarian I could ask for. Really the entire team here is AMAZING! I have pet rats and I couldn't ask for better support in caring for them.

Would never bring my dog here again. They overcharge so much and have no respect for the animals or owner. I watched one of the employees practically drag my dog away from me as she fought to get to me. My dog was not greeted nor was she encouraged to go with this stranger. I told them she is a 6 month old puppy and is timid of masks, they told me they would muzzle her if needed, which would have been okay if my dog is vicious but she isn’t, she’s very sweet if you introduce yourself properly. The disrespect is annoying and I wish I never brought my dog here.

My dog recently broke a tooth. I called probably close to 6 or 7 vet offices, a lot of them were emergency vets, and they all told me that they couldn't see her. I understand that a broken tooth isn't a life or death situation, but it is urgent. When I called North County they were very sympathetic and could get her in immediately. Their main concern was the pain that she was in. They were able to remove the piece of tooth that was hanging off, then they made an appointment for the extraction within 2 days, and they gave her pain medicine in the mean time. The extraction went well, she was given bloodwork and more pain meds. Within a week I noticed the extraction site was looking a little funky. They had me email some pictures and prescribed antibiotics just in case. The extraction site is now fully healed and it looks great. I'm not sure if it was timing or a reaction to the antibiotics but my dog started to get really itchy. She normally gets a cytopoint injection every few months. I called my regular vet and they wouldn't be able to see her for a few weeks. Again, it wasn't a life or death situation but she was starting to scratch herself to the point of scabbing and she needed the shot as soon as possible. I called North County again and they were able to get her in the next day. The staff was amazing, the ease of service was amazing, and the availability was amazing. I'm so thankful that they were able to help me and my dog. I recommend them to anyone who needs urgent or other veterinary care.

Do not tell someone you'll have to muzzle their pet when they tell you they're timid of masks, all you have to do is show your face for a split second, tell her shes a good girl, and put your mask back on, social distance yourself from us if not comfortable with pulling your mask down near us. I can see through your windows and how you were leading my dog around, was not impressed. Gave us the wrong time too and told us we're late. Using a stern voice with an animal who's clearly nervous isn't a great look either gentle your voice.

Terrible customer service, lack of care for my dog and poor listening skills. I was told I would get a call back and I never did. Called the following day and the woman that answered the phone needed me to explain the situation again because there were zero notes regarding my call the day before. When I made an appointment a week ago, I was put into the system under someone else. So when I called to follow up, I told the woman that I needed to cancel that appointment anyways. She said she canceled it then today I received a text asking to confirm my appointment. Overall very frustrated with this whole experience. I’m not a vet and I rely on them to give me guidance when my pet is sick.

My regular vet couldn't get my dog in due to being booked up (it was a Friday). They recommended NCAH and we were able to get an afternoon appointment. It turned out my dog had pancreatitis and probably wouldn't have made it through the weekend without the meds they prescribed. I thought the charges, all things considered, were very reasonable. Murphy and I thank them tremendously.

Having some behavioral issues with my German Shepherd. Dr. Cara Lane helped prescribe medication that is helping. It's very difficult at this time, because of the Covid shutdown, to get good help for your pets. I was very pleased with the care and service NCAH provided.

I met the lead tech and outside the clinic in the parking lot and we spoke for probably 5 or 10 minutes and it was clear that he's very passionate about his work with animals.

We are forever grateful to the staff from start to finish when we called about our ailing bunny Rusty. The employee who answered the phone was compassionate and very sweet as tears flowed down my face. She checked with the vet and told me to bring him in ASAP. Upon my arrival, the staff continued their professionalism checking us in quickly knowing Rusty was suffering. Dr. Lane was fantastic all the way around sending Rusty on his peaceful journey to Rainbow Bridge. Thank you again to all of your staff we really appreciate everything! Frank & Theresa
