Very friendly, calming vet with great hours (open til midnight) The Veterinarian is very involved in the community and helps out those with pets very serious injuries. Past winner of "Best in Richmond" readers choice awards. No sales pressure to buy certain products or treatments.

My healthy pomeranian died here. He had an accident where his leash clip latched onto his paw and wouldn’t come undone. We took him to see the vet here. Dr. chaudhry ended up sedating my dog, without asking whether or not he had eaten, and then left him alone after the operation was done. Sadly, he ended up choking on his vomit and died. Upon demanding an explanation, we were given excuses and even blamed us for what had happened. We signed a new pet form when we arrived that night. Next day we called in and it seems as though we were erased from the system. Honestly, it would’ve been alright if he just admitted his fault and apologized. Dr. Chaundhry went as far as to saying we lied to him about our dog having dinner before showing up to his clinic. He made false medical reports, denied ANY wrongdoing. We have submitted a complaint to the BC vet board and they are currently investigating Dr. Chaundhry’s practice and taking them to court. Truly despicable practice here and should’ve listened to the REAL reviews on google. Perfectly unavoidable if we literally drove 20 minutes further to our regular vet. Ever since the incident, the more fake 5-star reviews we’ve noticed have been showing up to prop up this failing business. Here’s a tip: show some genuine care for your clients and their pets and you won’t need to write fake reviews.

My cat and I visited this vet for a physical exam after her adoption from the SPCA. I called to make an appointment and they scheduled us for the following day. The reception area is very small but is very quiet and clean and has 2 benches so that my cat and I could sit a reasonable distance from the other patron and her dog. Danielle greeted us and helped us set up our records. Dr Chaudhry who examined my cat had a very calm demeanour and my cat purred through the exam. He kindly answered my general questions about caring for her and took a closer look at her toes when I voiced a concern. We went home with parasiticide and a deworming pill. I felt really welcome and I felt I got everything I needed from the appointment. As an improvement, I think it would be great if I could send my cat's microchip number in advance as well as her vaccination record so that the intake was simpler. In these times why not take the opportunity to reduce exposure time and physical pen and paper forms. It could be printed for me to verify at the appointment, and we could have booked additional vaccinations and boosters for the same trip.

We took our cat to the vet (she’s 13), a 3 TIMES for the same issue and got antibiotics each time which only worked as long and the medication lasted, the fourth time we took her she was in pain, scared and peeing on everything, the vet did an exam and said it was likely a UTI, so we left her there over night on IVF THATS IT, and sent home the next evening with again antibiotics, the vet that evening said he didn’t know what the problem was, mentioned they didn’t do any other tests expect a blood rest, he told us it was idiopathic (didn’t know what’s wrong!!), and said it’ll be $300, we go to the front desk to pay and the receptionist says, $556!! I didn’t say anything, neither did my Mom, but all I could think of was “wait you said $300!! And you claim to not know what’s wrong!!”...Needless to say, my Mom is fuming and we are not returning, vets an idiot!!

Had my dog spayed recently and the vet was great. Pricing was better than what I was quoted at other vets and my pup received top notch care.

Thanks to Doctors at terra nova for helping our dogs even considering the circumstances. I can't thank them enough for helping Eri. The staff is super nice and so friendly. Even eri was so happy when we took her fr recheck. I have never seen a dog jump with happiness at a vet but seeing eri that happy just shows how good care they took of her. Thank you guyz, thank you sooooo much

I would give this place a 0 if I could. DO NOT BRING your pet here. Third Visit, the doctor does not listen to you. He diagnosed my cat improperly. He did not want to do any blood test or check anything when I told him there was a bump on his chin. He provided some meds without doing any proper diagnostic and he proceeds to charge me a couple hundred dollars. I Immediately went to another vet the next day, with proper diagnostic, and blood test, it was confirm my cat had cancer tumour which only had a few weeks left to live. If I had followed his instructions, I would have wasted another week of his life with unrelated meds. If you love your pet, you wouldn’t want to bring them here and suffer unnecessary pain.

Went there this week for my bunny nail trimming. After back home, I found bunny very nervous and did not move for several hours. Then noticed one nail got cut way too short which caused bleeding. I would say only 30% of the bleeding nail still exists. The staff there not professional at all they do not even know there is a bottom line for cutting nails. Plus, after the nail trim, they did not mention anything wrong. Instead, they told us everything is good. You did not feel ashamed for cutting my bunny nails way too short causing a lot bleeding and saying everything all good? The Indian Receptionist was still laughing when she talked with us, seems like nothing happened. Lots of blood on my bunny’s foot around there. I do not think they ever sanitized the wound. They have no sympathy for the animal, they have no professional knowledge, if they don’t know how to do nail trim properly, how can they finish a surgery for our pets? It was just unacceptable that the receptionist firstly have no knowledge and experience for simple nail trim and secondly lied to customer and hid the truth. Worst experience ever! Will not go there again!

We had an emergency on our hands. Our 2 y.o. German Shepherd had gastrointestinal bloat. I knew it was a life & death situation. We had no time to spare. We called Terra Nova Village Vet. They told us to come in right away. We did. Dr. Chaudhry and Harjot saw us right away and acted immediately. They did the necessary diagnostics and very calmly, competently and professionally informed us what they need to do. Dr. Chaudhry performed the emergency surgery (it was major surgery) and put our minds at ease. When they took our beloved pet to prepare for surgery, I asked if they needed payment and Harjot said no, as they needed to do the surgery as soon as possible. Most other Vet offices require funds UP FRONT and a large deposit of money prior to even looking at your pet. Surgery went well. Dr. Chaudhry showed us what was found and also showed us by video a part of the procedure. He was VERY transparent about what he was going to do and what he did. The invoice also was very detailed. The medication regimen was detailed and prepared for us ahead so that we would not make any mistakes. Harjot explained all of the post-surgery care and welcomed any questions or to contact the office in the days to come. Our dog healed up very nicely. Dr. Chaudhry is skilled, CALM and competent. He never pressured us in ANY way, shape or form. He explained every in detail to us. THANK YOU Dr. Chaudhry, Harjot and the rest of the TN Village Vet office for making a terrible, frightening experience in to a much less anxious, comforting situation. We are EVER grateful for you all for saving Dax's life. :o)

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Chaudhry and I would definitely recommend trusting him to take care of your fur babies. I was very nervous coming in because my cat is a senior and I don't have pet insurance. Dr. Chaudhry and his staff took great care of my cat and explained all the processes to me thoroughly. The pricing is very fair, especially since I was provided with such great service. It felt like Dr. Chaudhry and his staff genuinely cared for the well-being of my pet, they're also a very responsive and knowledgeable bunch. Because of them, I was able to go home with a healthier and happier cat. Thank you!!

I've been taking my babies to terra nova village vet for 7 years now. Everyone there has always shown a great deal of compassion and professionalism towards myself, and my furry family. I couldn't be happier with the service, and I highly recommend them to everyone especially Dr.Chaudhry! I've been a pet owner for my entire life. Terra nova village vet is fantastic! They will continue to receive my business for many years to come!

Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly! I've been taking my dog to Dr.Chaudry since he was a puppy. He takes the time to walk you through what's going on with your pet, why it's happening, and what his recommendations are. The entire staff clearly loves working with animals and it shows when they interact with my dog. As a bonus, they are also open late and their prices are very reasonable :)

I am extremely disappointed and upset with what this vet has done to my friend's pet. This vet misdiagnosed his dog twice. They sent him home after being hospitalized for five days mentioning that he is getting better and that we just had to feed him his medicines. However, a day after he came home, he started puking blood and his organs started failing, and then had lots of internal bleeding two nights ago, which led to him passing away. Please do not take your pet to this veterinarian because they lack professional knowledge and blame their faults on the owner.

This was my first time and they treat my dog very nicely. Dr. Chudhary is very nice and I love that how they treat my dog. This is not our regular vet but this is closest option during emergency time. So, we went there. They saved his life. I love this place.

We did not have a good experience here. Our 1 year old cat had hurt her leg somehow so we took her here. They did an xray and we were relieved that nothing was broken. They sent us home with some medication. The next couple of days, our cat was still in so much pain and could barely walk but when I called to see what could be done, they just said to keep taking the medication which should help with the pain. Once the meds were out, our cat started to get worse and stopped eating. We brought her and they didn't suspect anything out of the ordinary and suggested we give her wet food. We did this for a few days but then after, she stopped eating and seemed depressed, withdrawn, and wouldn't move. I consulted with the dr. but he just said this is normal and should pass. We let it play out for a few more days thinking the dr would no what he's talking about. But then a few days later in the evening, I find the cat lying in the litter box. Right then i knew something was for sure off and brought her in right away. Long story short, she passed by the time we got there. The dr was speechless because he didn't expect this to happen. We on the other hand were heartbroken, upset, and frustrated that the dr kept saying everything was fine. I regret not being more vocal about my concerns and not taking her to another vet and getting a second opinion as this may have saved our cat's life. She was only 1 when she passed and had been healthy otherwise.

Always very happy and very satisfied with the quality of service from Dr Chaudhry and other team members. They’ve helped my cats many times over the years and I always feel comfortable trusting them with my pets. Prices are very good compared to other clinics. Their extended working hours have also helped when I had some late night emergencies.

At first I thought this place was very good. They were open to the public from 8am to 12am with 24/7 hospitalization. all with one doctor working. Their blood tests, x-rays etc.. were priced very reasonably too. But then after my dog was hospitalized here for an entire week, not so much. Dobey had gone in after getting pushed away from ironwood animal hospital, and they send him home that night. If I'm being honest, he was dying, so I don't know why he was sent home. But not the biggest problem. We went back the next day (16 oct 20) to have him hospitalized for the next 6 days. We visited him everyday. They said he was on IVF 24/7. and they claimed he was being taken care of. He looked like he was getting weaker but because some symptoms went away day by day, we didn't say anything. They sent him home Thursday night because they said he'll most likely start eating at home. We weren't sure, but we believed in the process, we believed in the doctor. Friday afternoon after getting fed, he threw up. We immediately called the office and they said it was normal for him to throw up even though they had claimed that he wasn't at the vet anymore. They told us to give some of the medication they had given us the first night (the night we took him home) We listened because, what else could we do? 11pm that night he throws up again, we wait and ask some friends and family before calling this time. % minutes later, he vomits blood. We again immediately call the vet, they said they were closing and can't do anything even though it was only approximately 11:30pm. They told us to go to 24/7 emergency vet. When we got to the vet, they had essentially explained the same things that Terra Nova vet had, but they said hen was dehydrated. How can my Dobey be dehydrated after being on IVF for 6 days straight. This brings up the question of negligence and malpractice, personally I can't say anything further because I'm not a vet, but the College of veterinarians of Bc can. Honestly the entire process was sketchy but we had to believe. Many times when we visited (we visited everyday), he peed himself and no one cleaned with mess, not to mention he has a bacterial disease going on. As well as, the receptionist said he was drinking, but later when I asked the doctor if he was eating or drinking, he said they don't offer water because he was on IVF. And the dehydration part as well. I honestly didn't care about the money because I thought everything was priced better than anywhere else even though over $3000 was spend to basically have my Dobey die. He definitely should not have gone home that night. There's also the question of malpractice and not caring for your dog when you're not there. Was the IVF even hooked up? After some research, we found that this vet is currently being sued by someone with similar experience to mine. All in all, I do believe they properly diagnosed him, but dobey was most definitely not taken care of properly. Dobey was only 7 months old and died from internal bleeding and organ failure. the picture below is him.

Our dog and our neighbor's dog were recently involved in a freak accident where they were both struck by the same car at the same time. This vet clinic was the only one open in the late evening close by, when the accident happened. We were impressed by the integrity of the service -- there were no unnecessary tests or procedures, and all the costs were provided up front. Given the emergency, our animals were dealt with quickly, and the price of treatment was fair and reasonable for the work that was done. This vet clinic is impressive, ethical, and professional.
