Finally an animal hospital that actually cares about animals/pets unlike Taiko animal hospital (who only care about money) Our Doberman was incredibly sick, we went to different animal hospitals and they all turned us away so we came here and they immediately came to our aid and did everything in their power to make sure our dog was nursed back to health. The vet was very informative and tells you everything they've done, the reason why they did it, how to take care of our dog afterward, and that he was a phone call away if we had any questions. I believe the people reading this know who I am, I simply wanted to say thank you very much for always being there to help us in our time of need ❤

I take Dora here. Olivia and Sabrina are both super kind to both of us every time we visit and they make it as comfortable as possible for Dora to enter the "dungeon". That's what I imagine she thinks of the Animal Hospital. The vet is amazing and takes his time to explain everything. Recommended!

My dog's eye is blind as misdiagnosis. And triple charge of blood test compares with my current animal hospital. Front desk assistant didn't have enough medication knowledge. I won't suggest any of my friend visit there. What a nightmare.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling appointments needs to do a better job. I had an appointment today for my sick cat and they kept her in her carrier for over an hour and a half because they were busy. They didn't even call me to tell me this, I had to call to find out because I was worried I hadn't heard from them. My cat is very anxious and hates car rides, if they were too busy why didn't they cancel my appointment or at least tell me to come collect my cat. They called me back hours later to tell me they could see me and by that time I was home already.

The staff are pleasant and professional and my cat is always well treated when he is there.

The worst Animal hospital I have ever seen tbh, my girlfriend’s puppy throughout every time after examination in their place. And when I check the comment, I find out a customer even says this clinic keep all pets with laundry and chemical substances in the same room together. These things are really awful, probably this is the main reason why they won’t let their customers into their clinic waiting room, or maybe they don’t even have an regular size exam rooms.

I found an injury rabbit in the community center parking lot a few days ago. She seemed to be lost her mother and ran around in the lot at 4 in the morning. Her leg was limping and injury. I was worry that she may easily being caught by raccoons or coyotes, so I took her in until she gets recovery from the injury somehow. She may be only 2 weeks old by the size. But this morning, I found her barely moving and appeared very weak. All her legs are in frozen position. I still have no idea what to do even after calling SPCA, wildlife in Burnaby and different places, because they don't deal with rabbits. I was so worry that she may die in any minutes. In the hopeless moment, I gave a try at #2 Rd Animal Hospital nearby. I did not expect any solution because I know they most likely only take care of dogs and cats and it will cost me a fortune if they treated her. When I approach to a young vet tech lady at the door, she was so please to see such a cute bunny. She took the bunny in to the vet. A few minutes later, she came out and asked me if I took her back or not. She said they will warm her up and gave her some cat milk and see how she will react. I know it is way better to pass her on to a professional than take her back by me. They took me by a big surprise that they will take on some animals beyond their business call which is making money. Such a real professional people are very touched. I am sure they will do all their best to care any animals that pass through their door. Our pup had a severe nose bleed two days after Christmas after struggling with pneumonia and being on antibiotics for a month and a half. Our regular vet was closed and recommended emergency but we called around and thankfully No.2 had a spot available for us. The staff were so sweet with our nervous puppy and the vet was very knowledgeable. Things that made our experience stand out: - They sent us home with a back up treatment in case our pup got a nose bleed in the middle of the night so that we wouldn't have to suffer the stress and cost of going to the emergency. Thankfully we didn't end up needing it but appreciated the forethought. - The vet followed up the next day with the first test results and to check in to see how our pup was doing. - Our pup is doing MUCH better on the new antibiotics we were prescribed. No more runny nose/blood and getting back to himself. Thank you No.2! You guys were awesome and we would recommend your hospital to others. L + D

They are good people with good intentions, but it feels like the nurses and doctors get comission of every little thing. The secretary sold us on switching our cat to a dry diet and expensive cat food. After a month my cat is peeing blood.. do not take advice from this clinic... I'm sorry to write a bad review but if you love your animal like I do .... spend a bit more money and go somewhere else..

ive been taking my dog here for 8 years and have had an okay experience, today i took him in for a check up after his surgery and the orange cat they have attacked my dogs face. my dog is not violent at all hes very small and friendly and all he was doing was standing near the cat, the vet didnt seem to care or even apologize, usually i wouldnt make any complaints but this really upset me as my dog is still healing from surgery and is already afraid of going to the vet. if you cant have a cat properly trained or behaved cat around other animals maybe its not the best idea to keep one as a pet in a vets office

A lady who worked at Tisol on No.3 road recommended me to go to No.2 Road Animal Hospital after I told her my dog was having some skin problems and his main vet didn’t do much to help me the first time around except push for more testing and use of the Oxygen Hydrotherapy chamber. When I went to my appointment at No.2 road, the vet and staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Malhan gave me a quick estimate before anything was done and explained to me all the procedures and made sure I was okay with everything before even touching my dog (which I appreciate!). After initial examination, he gave me a diagnosis which my main vet was not able to do and actually took a sample of the infection for even further diagnosis. I am switching to No 2 animal hospital full time now because I trust their staff and I know my dog will get the best care needed. Thank you ❤️

After going to Vancouver vets for two years, and bleeding money for what felt like very little attention and help, we decided to look outside of our postal code. That’s when I was recommended No 2 Rd Animal Hospital, and I am so so so grateful I booked my cats dental cleaning and surgery here. The staff has been so attentive and so professional, especially since the healing has been especially tough for our senior cat. However, they have been extremely wonderful in helping him get better, as well as reassuring me through the process. Thank you so much ❤️

This was my third attempt at finding a competent veterinarian in Richmond and I'm so pleased to say I finally found it. Dr. Aulakh and his staff are what you hope for in a vet, and they seem to really care about your pet which is not easy to come by these days. For me, my cat is family, and I trust Dr. Aulakh with his well being.

I have been bringing my 2 dogs and cat here for a couple years. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and most importantly they care! The Veterinarians we have seen here are great. Very professional excellent service! A special thanks to Vanessa the vet tech there who has gone above and beyond for my furry family members.
