They were able to work us in their full schedule and treated my new sick puppies. They were loving and kind to our babies and really spent time checking everything and talking with us

Wonderful professionals, they helped me euthanize my Dear dog Olive and made it as comfortable as possible. Now my daughters lil dog Foxy Brown is going and having excellent care.

Dr Riley and staff are the best. Now that they do apt. We didn't have to wait long and they were so good with my Garfield. I left knowing exactly what to do to get him better. Thank you.

I'm changing my review from a 3 star to a 4 star. Dr. Shoemaker is absolutely amazing. Also, the gentleman who works front desk on Sundays is also amazing. Both him and Dr. Shoemaker made my experience great.

I love this place! The staff makes this place feel like home. They are always very sweet and gentle with my Cat (Sky) they keep me well informed and take their time explaining things to me. My schedule is always very crazy so I love that I can call when they open to make same day appointments. Very attentive and caring team. Thank you so much for everything you do !!

I know preventative appointments are a challenge to get these days, and vet clinics/hospitals tend to be scheduling roughly 2-3 months out, but they did a great job getting my cat in for his well kitty check. Staff were friendly and professional. Thank you!

We had a very positive experience at this clinic. We arrived early on Saturday morning, before they opened, to try and get in as a walk-in. They were unable to see us right away but got us an appointment for later that day. When we returned for our appointment, we really appreciated the care we received from both the nurse and the doctor. Both were very kind to us and our dog and took the time to thoroughly talk us through everything and patiently answer all of our questions. We also greatly appreciated that they told us the cost of bloodwork beforehand and offered alternatives if the cost was prohibitive.

Our puppy had 3 teeth extracted and we were very pleased with how well the procedure went and how quickly we received a call that she was ready for pickup. Her recovery has been fast and uncomplicated as well.

Quick check in, quick greet and pre-assess before the doctor, efficient operation and transition between doctor and assistant on handling my fur child. Willing answer questions and offer different procedure options upfront. Highly recommend base on my first visit. Manageable cost compare other mostly revenue centric clinic these days. Also dog appear way less traumatized post visit compare few other vet locations prior. So have to assume care handling behind the exam room where one unable see. Spotless exam room and front-office.

I've been very pleased with Value Pet Renton. The customer service is excellent, and my cats have been successfully and kindly treated. I'll continue using this vet.

My little pup was hit by a car on Halloween ????. We took him to 2 pet hospitals, and the 1st one we got mediocre treatment and info, the 2nd was better, but still felt rushed because we don't have a bunch of money for treatment. We called around and found our saviors with Value Pet, they were patient and understanding. Explained what the next step will be, amputation, and were very friendly. I live in Spanaway and I will recommend this vet to anyone, well worth the travel time.

I had to bring my boxer Harley in to be Euthanized after 11 years. I have to say that these people are truly loving and very caring people and they will do all they can to make you and your pet as comfortable as they can. I highly recommend VPC in Renton for all your pet care!

Took my cat there again yesterday, and as long as you have an appointment, it's all good. They took good care of him and were very helpful in descriptions and explaining why my cat was losing hair. Also were helpful in feedback on my new car carrier. Thanks!

Doesn't clean up before new appointments. Can't keep track of upcoming appointments. This is a DIRTY vet clinic with horrible professionalism. I was excited about value pet clinic because I was quoted $75 for an exam and shots... I get there and I'm told that it will be $130 without a plan or sign up for a plan ($54 monthly) and it will be $104 that day. That would have been fine.... BUT •I waited 1 hour and 30 mins to be seen (I had an appointment) •The clinic was so dirty I was cringing. ***There were feces on the ground in the exam room they brought me in - I get its a Vet but wouldn't you tidy up / sanitize before the next client? Definitely not covid safe either.****** So I asked myself, do I really want to sign up for a plan at this dirty clinic that doesn't care about my time? No. I'd rather pay the same price at Banfield, which I have used for years and faithfully trust. I should have known better to not go cheap with Vet care. WASTE OF TIME !!!!

Had an appt for 1045 and wasn't helped until 1120. Another person in there ended up q going up to the receptionist desk saying she had been waiting over an hour for her appt. Must be very understaffed. However, the staff is very friendly. Just be prepared to WAIT

Called multiple ERs many times for my sick dog and was told to wait and go into a walk in clinic. Got there first thing in the morning and no one else was there. Called to get her checked in and receptionist (Alyssa) told us they were too busy and had no availability. I’ve been here before and the staff is great, this is the first negative experience but I am very disappointed. Maybe they’ve changed to appointment only? Not sure. I feel like they could have at least looked at her to refer her to an ER. Was not impressed. Totally understand things are difficult during COVID for the vet field, but this was just upsetting.

I had an emergency situation with my pet and my last vet had closed in the pandemic. I called six different emergency clinics and none could fit me in, understandably. VPC not only made it work, seeing my pet the next day, but were thorough, patient, and understanding. Great work at an amazing value.

I was very impressed. Weston was the vet tech for our visit and he did a great job. He answered all my questions and was very gentle with my babies. Then we saw Dr Mau. She was great too.

This clinic was amazing for my kitten Gracie. They were very kind to me and treated both Gracie and I with patience and care. I will be going back for future vaccines and whenever Gracie needs her check ups. I am so glad that I found them on the internet.

Value Pet Clinic provided good quality care when I needed it! With the pandemic, I've found that it's been harder and harder to find emergent care for my animals and I'm grateful for Value Pet! They helped get my dog back on her feet and ready to play again! Thank you, Value Pet! :)

My cat wasn't feeling well and they figured it out. I'm happy he is on the mend, and reasonably priced.

Wow, this place has really gotten crazy. They wanted to intubate our Shih-tzu to do a routine medical demat (she is hydrocephalic and does not allow grooming). She is ten years old and has had the procedure (put in a twilight state so they can shave her down completely) done regularly three to six times a year her entire life, without ever once needing to be intubated. Her bloodwork is normal, she's in excellent health besides the congenital defect (due to a puppy mill using improper breeding methods). They only want to do that so they can charge $600-$750 for it, with no thought to what that would do to our poor girl. Additionally, over a month ago they acted like they were making us an appointment for the medical demat (we have had the procedure done at this clinic many times before), but when we showed up they had only scheduled an exam. We understand the exam *at each individual vet (she's already had one within the last six months at another vet)* is important, but why couldn't they do the exam, and then the procedure immediately following? Another thing, they didn't do any bloodwork at the required exam. They wanted to add the bloodwork onto the demat procedure. Do they have a lab in-house? Would they really wait until the labs came back to begin the sedation? Or would they just charge us for bloodwork that they wouldn't even consult before they sedated her? We had to schedule the procedure out six-to-eight weeks *after* the exam. They did get us in about two weeks earlier than they had scheduled, but then once she is in the office they spring this new charge and inflated bill on us. Previously we have paid $150 to $300 for the procedure. As I mentioned, she's had it two to four times a year for her entire life. We understand that prices increase, and vets are in high demand, but intubating an animal that doesn't need to be amounts to animal torture.
