They took great care of my cat. Not sure he knows really what he was allergic to, but very compassionate and helpful on treatments!

When Sumner turned us away the day after Thanksgiving Lake tapps stepped up an saved my service dog in which a stick punctured his throat.Standing in the parking lot I pleaded with the attending worker an she sent out a an assistant to do a urgent exam,then proceeded to check him in. I was from out of state an my brother took us. They were very professional, very responsive an excellent quality of care. My service dog is recovering nicely, an it was a blessing we ended up getting help from Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital. When I informed Sumner I am a disabled female veteran an this was my service dog, their customer relations was rude nasty

it's an awesome place to take your pets to. they are very friendly and especially pet friendly.

I loved them before the ownership change and they're even better now. As with every Veterinary Clinic right now, it's tough to get an appointment, but they do their best. They treat my pups very well and prices are reasonable

My father brought all of our family dogs here for quite sometime. When they had a disagreement with him, instead of finishing the care before discontinuing business, they stopped caring for a poor dog with a ear infection. So sad when all he needs is medication.

I am really happy to find a great vet in the LakeTapps area. My puppy always comes back happy with tail wagging and now he even likes the car ride. I know they’re really looking out for him, explaining everything I needed to know.

We are new to the area and wanted a quality vet so we found lake Tapps veterinarians. They are so communicative, understanding and worked well with me to make sure my puppy got his needs met!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before. Shouldn’t the animals best interest be the most important thing at a veterinarian’s office? Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital refused to treat our cat without sedation. In fairness, she is a very feisty/aggressive cat when she goes to the vet. However, when I showed up for the appointment I had our cat premedicated with 100mg of gabapentin to make sure she was as calm as possible. Still they refused to treat her without sedation and refused to let me come in and keep her calm (post CoVid restrictions). I cancelled the appointment and immediately drove to an emergency vet to get her ear infection treated. Blue Pearl was great, and treated our cat without sedation and without incident.

They are not accepting new clients, yet they take appointment requests on their websites. I wasted a couple of days waiting for an appointment. Very unprofessional, and uncompassionate.

My dog was attacked by another dog. I already had an appointment scheduled for him to get his allergy shot. I called them the night it happened (after called the 24 hr vet) and let them know what happened and wanted to make sure they could still see him. They called me before my appointment and told me to still bring him in. Even though they had a full day they fit him in, he had to have some surgery to close and clean is wounds. They never once made me feel bad or feel as though I was burdening them.

With the Covid-19 restrictions, the visits/services are limited to just 2 days a week, yet they are trying to take care of things the best they can. Looking forward to the day they can open up completely. So far they have done a good job with our puppies.

Takes amazing care of my 4 dogs. Always caring and so responsive. I so appreciate having professionals like these to provide care for my pets and concern for the owners. They communicate. So very important. I highly recommend this business. The previous review was based on Dr Padilla and the current staffing at Lake Tapps. It is my understanding the staff is changing along with the vet as of the first of March. The vet is from Buckley, Dr Woods, who I previously posted a highly negative review due to her condescending attitude towards owners and I am not the only owner who has expressed this view. If Dr Woods becomes the vet at Tapps I would highly recommend another clinic. I have been with Tapps for many years and with many pets. Dr Woods is the worst vet I have had to deal with in probably 20 years. I needed to put an addendum to my previous comment as the current staff is amazing and the vets that have been filling in since Dr Davidson left have been extremely helpful and caring especially Dr Padilla. Dr Woods is a different comment.

Have gone here for 15 years and treated wonderfully. Unfortunately, Dr. Susan Davidson recently retired. I thought, OK....there are 2 new vets, I will give them a try. But apparently the entire staff has turned over. I called on Feb. 12, 2020 for an appointment and was given one for 5:15PM on Feb. 14th, Valentine's Day. That's fine. My husband and I took our dog in at the scheduled time only to be told that we did NOT have an appointment with them and furthermore, they do not schedule appointments on the quarter hour. I was told that I must not have called them but someone else instead. I promptly pulled out my phone and showed them the recent calls which showed "Lake Tapps Vet" and was told that that did not prove anything because they could not see the number. I pressed on the words "Lake Tapps Vet", displayed the number, and 3 minutes and 47 seconds call time and asked if it was theirs. They said yes. They then realized that they had scheduled my dog under someone else's name. No apology for acting like they thought I was in error. We then found another appointment a week later which I took. We brought our dog back and loved the vet Dr. Danielle. She was comforting and took time with us and our dog. She performed a needle aspiration of a lump and we were told that the results would be back Monday or Tuesday. I never heard back, so I called on Wednesday. The person answering the phone told me that the vet would have to give me the results and would call later that day. It never happened. I called again Thursday morning and was told the same thing. I told her that I just wanted to know if the test was normal or abnormal, so she then looked up the results and told me that it was indicative of a lipoma (a benign fatty tumor) and that the doctor would call me later. I thanked her and hung up. Dr. Trikha did call about 3 hours later and gave me the same news for which I thanked him. He then explained that he was very busy and since my dog's diagnosis (which I waited dreading for 5 days) was not serious, that the call to inform me could wait and that he understood that I was unhappy. No s***. I again thanked him, hung up, and am now going to a different vet. The new staff was AWFUL. So sad since we have gone there for so long and they were so loving to my other furry friends.

The dr here is amazing. She has taken care of our fur babies for 10+ years. She is very knowledgeable and really cares for our four legged friends.

Absolutely excellent excellent customer service Excellence bedside manner extremely thorough extremely great with animals never had an issue I've only been going about a year although my family has been there for about 15 years and I know other people that also go and they treat everybody very warm and friendly I really appreciate them and feel very safe taking are animals there

I went with a friend that had to take his cat in, they were quick in was in the room with an minutes. The employees were awesome, and my friend was happy with the price. Would recommend to anybody that lives in the area

I've been going to Lake Tapps Veterinary for years. They have the nicest people working the front desk. Before covid you could walk in and feel like the staff really cared about your pet and you! Now everything's done by phone but I still get that feeling they care. They're not as expensive as some of the other vets in the area.

Very nice and clean office. Staff very friendly. Dr very friendly and pleasant.
