I called today to check the cost for first kitten appointment and for the procedures he will need(vaccine, microchip)to know how big my bill might be. Lady on the phone told me that she doesn't know that and doctor will discuss it with me upon arrival(with kitten). No thank you I would like to know it in advance. Later I gave a call to another clinic and they gave me the answers with no problem.

I really appreciate them... The Cedar River Animal hospital staff is wonderful and amazing towards me and my furbaby. My cat is taken care of very well....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would like to give 6 stars ????

This was my first time there and I didn't enjoy my experience simply because we weren't called in until 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. The service was good, the doctor was friendly but we waited a while and I'm not sure if this is a regular thing as it was my first time there but I don't think I'll be coming back.

I had the best possible experience with a vet here. I brought my kitty in and they were so kind and caring. They walked me through what they were doing, looking for, and also what they thought would be the next steps. 10/10 will be bringing my babies here again ????

When I arrived I notice a white couple were in the building talking to the front desk. I then notice that another white couple came out with there dog. A father and daughter also white walked out of the animal hospital as well. My partner and I were approached by a hospital attendant and she informed us that only one person can come in with the dog. Mind you we are an interracial couple. It was odd to me that they allowed the white couples to enter but I was asked to wait in the car, while my partner enter with our dog. It was strange. Our dog was being check on because we wanted to make a decision on if it was his time or not. Unfortunately, I was unable to even hear the conversation and had to decide based off my partners word. Very unpleasant experience.

Vet Tammy is great. However they need more last minute appts so we dont need to go to e.r. and spend a ton of money when not necessary.

This vet is amazing. He is so kind and your can tell her truly loves our pets. I found them when my girl was very ill, I lost her and they were so kind during that ordeal. My new pup is a patient now and we got the same level of compassion and professionalism....They are great.

Cedar River has cared for our dog and several cats. They were very skilled and sensitive with end of life decisions with two of our elderly cats. They have continued to provide excellent care regardless of our pet’s stage of life.

Decided to try a new Animal Hospital and my first impression/experience has been great! From making a request online, receiving a call within 24 hours to set up an appointment, the ease of making an appointment (answered by a live person, no automated hoops to get through), received a call to confirm appointment and to arriving at appointment, left me feeling like I made the right choice. Minimal wait time from car to inside room and to talking with the Vet! Vet tech thorough in collecting information, professional and friendly. Receptionist was friendly and helpful as well! Lastly, it’s a small thing but sometimes it’s the small things that make a difference. I received a baggie with supplies to obtain a stool sample, a container that has my pets booster medicine vs being handed a syringe as well as a bag to put both items in!!! Hoping the next visits go well!!!

Great service, took my kitty in and had to have x-rays done. Thought I would be there forever but things were done so quickly. They even called me the next day to check up on my kitty. Super recommend!

These guys are always super busy, especially during the pandemic. However the staff are always gracious and informative. I feel comfortable knowing that my two dogs have a kind place I can take them when they have health issues.

I’ve been taking our dogs to Cedar River Animal Hospital for 10 years. Everyone there is always friendly and professional. The doctors happily answer questions and offer helpful advice. I highly recommend them!

Brittany and Dr. Aluas are godsends! The last week of April, our 5year old Siamese-Tabby dislocated her left hip. After the emergency vet was unable to get her hip reset without it popping back out, we were ultimately faced with surgery as our only option. Keeping her heavily sedated every 3 hours was hard to do and to watch. After calling 9 different clinics all saying they wouldn't be able to get her in until June, Brittany made magic happen! We got our kitty into the clinic 4 days later and during surgery setup, Dr. Aluas was feeling around the joint and it popped back in solidly! He kept her for observation for a few hours and sent us home with medication to keep her sedated enough that she didn't hurt herself while her soft tissue settled and healed. I love that he didn't want to do the surgery and was able to get her in so quickly. You and your team are amazing!!!!!

We have taken Finley to Cedar River Animal Hospital for several years now. They always treat us with respect and provide down-to-earth honest advice on how to take care of our pet. Their prices are fair and they don't ask for additional services that aren't really necessary.

I took my dog because she was limping and it was getting worse. They put a splint on her and gave her pain meds with instructions. She is doing so much better and more pain free. The staff is really caring and knowledgeable. So glad we have good care close to home.

The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They have a great process for COVID-19 compliance. You park and stay in your car, call them and tell them you are there, and they come out and get your pet. The vet calls and explains what they found and discusses treatment. It works great!

We love how much the staff at Cedar River cares for our pets! We have been going there for nearly 20 years and they have always given us the best of care!

I would give this office 0 stars if I could. I took my kitten if for the first time. I told the person that took the kitten it to look at the kitten's face and we wanted the vaccines. After the appointment the doctor called me and I asked about the kittens face and he told me, "I already finished my exam." He also told me that sometimes they get eye goop on their nose. I was never told where the vaccine was given and that the reaction of the kitten would be to be very tired for the next day. When our daughter, who is a vet student, came over we asked her about the face and she said the doctor was wrong. There is something wrong with the face. He had ringworm before and she looked at his face with a black light and verified he had it again. She told us where the shot would have been given and that is was normal for the kitten to respond how he did after the shot. I also was expecting to get all the shots that was recommended for his age and did not receive them all. I called the doctor back and asked that they please re-examine the kitten for ringworm (as I cannot get the medicine to treat him without a prescription) and administrator the other vaccine that he didn't get. He refused to see the kitten again without charging us again. I couldn't believe it. He failed to do as we asked and wanted to charge us for having to bring in the kitten again to do what we had asked the first time. I will never go to that vet again and would advise others to avoid this vet office.
