I take all my pets here for years now. And they have good prices ❌BUT❌for them to be our regular vet. It's hard to get ahold of them and I'm always told they can't take on new patients when my pets arnt new to them.

Dr Farris is an awesome vet. He really cares about the animals. He has neutered both our cats and both were crazy as ever after the drugs wore off. Neither of them looked butchered, as I have seen with other vets. He really cares and it shows.

Literally just got off the phone asking to schedule and the receptionist informed me they’re not accepting new patients but asked me to hold. I waited for 4 minutes & she then asked me if mornings or afternoons were better, I said “well you just told me you’re not accepting new patients and I am, so are you making an exception for me or referring me elsewhere?” She then said “ya we’re not taking new patients, sorry about that.” What?? Why was I placed on hold? Would’ve been nice to have held for at least a referring business accepting new patients. This was a very unprofessional call and clearly a waste of my time.

my dog had somehow managed to pierce his underbelly and made a pool of blood on the floor in the kitchen. I panicked and called a few clinics. They were the only ones that said they would help me.. for that i am in their debt. They said they would be closing but the doctor stuck around late to help my little buddy get back to full health. A few cuts and some stitches and my buddy was back up and running. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Highly recommend them

There is just so many great things about things place. They got me in right away when my 14 y/o cat was losing weight. And an hour later, we had the answer that she had diabetes. He showed me how to give her insulin and to change her food. And the best part, $220 bill!!! No one can beat that! Everyone is funny and so helpful. The whole office has a family vibe

I had an excellent time there. When I arrived, someone came out and checked me in outside. This allowed me to walk Mocha around to make it easy. We went in and I waited about 5 minutes to be seen. Dr. Farris was quick and efficient. He took the time to listen to me. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Farris.

Well after a few trips here with my felines that have now passed on, I just took on some new kittens. I need to get them fixed and called to get on the schedule. It was only after she started talking about shots and being required and I started asking questions that all of a sudden, they are not taking on new patients. So don't bother guys, they are TOO BUSY FOR YOU!

I took my baby Chica to Summit to get what I thought would be a routine oxytocin shot as she had given birth and past delivery of her and her mom showed that they retain placenta unless we manually remove it, After I took her to summit, the dr there continued to call me hourly with more test he wanted to do, and then told me my baby was declining quickly and that she couldn't push the mass out of her uterus(they took 6hrs to give her the shot even tho he agreed she needed it, within the first 20mins)the and that it had ruptured, filled her belly with fluid, and that I needed to pay $5000-$7000 to remove her uterus and that even then she probably wouldn't live, I told him there was no way I could pay that so he told me to get care credit(I don't qualify) or have my family pay it(most of my family is dead) he was refusing to let her come home and kept telling me that she was almost coma tose with a fever high enough to shut her organs down(he claimed with each hour that is was higher), Finally after my oldest son called as this was on easter and family was here even tho I was a crying mess(I delivered her and she is trained to help keep me alive due to disabilities) they gave me 3options, get surgery and probably lose her which was $5000-$7000, leave her overnight and try to transfer her somewhere else in the am with the knowledge that she would probably pass away for $1200-$1900, or bring her home with meds(he refused me this option for almost 8hrs till my son called) again with knowing that she would probably pass away and that if she lived and I found someone else to operate in the am, that she would be ok(even tho if they/summit operated he was almost certain she wouldn't make it,make sense? No didnt think so) for $620, well we picked that. She did live and was sick but ok, nothing like how they described her and was alert and fever had went down when they bought her out to me, so I could tell they were just nickle and diming me... Next morning starting at 7am I began contacting all spay and neuter places summit told me to contact, including going into nw spay For 2 hrs because they were not answering calls, most couldn't fit her in, and Nw spay/neuter was thinking about helping but summit was taking their sweet time sending over blood work/xrays/ultrasound, and so the dr decided he couldnt help by going off of their paper stating ruptured uterus. Two of my fur grand babies see Dr Farris, and even though Chica was not a patient and Dr Farris was already triple booked for the day, after waiting for summit to send the paperwork, them only sending paperwork not test, Dr Farris told me to bring her in, because I made it clear he was my last hope. After we got there they checked us in, told me summit still needed to send test, so they needed me to call them AGAIN and then we waited till everyone was seen and office was closed(he saw other patients till an hour after closing) summit finally sent everything and Dr Farris looked at Chica, told me they were wrong about rupture but she did end up getting an infection, told me her discharge was keeping it from exploding but that it made more sense to remove it right then and there, he then picked her up, said see you at 9pm and away he went to help save my baby!! Dr Farris is old school and keeps it short but I can tell he truly cares, surgery ended up costing $200 more than I was quoted but he waived that extra cost, he showed me what was removed, and even cut it open so that I could see if it was a puppy like summit claimed even tho history shows they only have 4, or placenta(it was neither just fatty growth to try to cover where it was trying to tear), he let me record it while he explained all issues and what it was doing to try to protect itself. Which I found really cool and said Chica could feed her babies where as summit said no and that had her depressed. She is doing great now Thanks to Dr Farris!! Thank you so much for saving my babies life, I could never repay you for all the generosity you had towards my baby, I wish all vets were like you!! Highly recommend!!

The staff was amazing and so helpful. The building was a home on the outside and very clean and welcoming on the inside. The vet was not. He was very short spoken. Did no introductions, and just started grabbing my dog who was clearly uncomfortable. My dog was brought in for a check up after a dog attack. The wounds were not examined. I expressed concern about his teeth and switching to a different food and was told don't worry about it other dogs have it worse. When I asked if I should continue meds until they are all gone I was told to use my best judgement. My best judgement was to ask my vet questions and get answers, and that did not happen. I went there after numerous recommendatios, and was very disappointed.

The Dr is rude and short spoken. He’s simply not pleasant or informative, it’s almost like he doesn’t want to help.

We bring our four cats here and this place has the most wonderful staff! They helped save Milo's (our 15 year old cat's) life last August when he had some gall bladder problems. They're nice, professional, and what they have going is a passion project. Our own little local James Herriot!
