It was New Years Eve in the midst of a snow storm. My house has Covid and my puppy a bad ear irritation. The staff and doctors were able to squeeze Louie in for a virtual visit and safely hand off prescriptions on my car. You can tell the staff genuinely care about these animals

We have been going to this office for many years. It was formerly known as Vets For Less. We didn't take our dog in last year because we had moved and because the vet we had been seeing and loved so much had moved out of the area. But when our wonderful little companion suddenly started having breathing issues we called Panther Lake Animal Hospital and they were able to squeeze us in despite being booked up. The person we talked to on the phone was caring and compassionate and asked us all sorts of intuitive questions to help the vet. And our new vet Dr. Agnes is an absolute angel, not to mention her wonderful assistant. Our dog who is very anxious and suspicious of strangers was comfortable with them immediately. So we recommend VCA Panther Lake Animal Hospital whole heartedly.

Thank you so much Panther Lake for getting my cat Teddy in for an urgent dental in a timely manner! He busted his tooth and my vet wouldn't get him in for over a month, and refused dentals in the past due to his heart murmur. Teddy is feeling so much better and we're so grateful! ???? Cost was reasonable for what was done. Definitely switching vets.

Twice VCA Federal Way has gone out of their way to help me out with urgent needs!! This has become my regular go-to vet! I have also integrated a Naturalpathic vet up in Seattle for my dogs care... (Dr Barringham seems to have some naturalpath knowledge too!) About a year ago, my puppy had some kind of blockage and was SO lethargic. I couldn't get into VCA, so I took him to an emergency clinic. 4 hours + xray + $500 later, they sent me home with a "solution" that wasn't harmful, but also wasn't going to help. My puppy still wasn't doing well, so VCA fit me into their schedule. The Dr told me what to watch for and my puppy got better. (still a mystery as to why puppy was sick) Recently, my older dog developed a huge gash in her leg (I thought a bed sore from scooting around - she can't walk, but I can carry her and she's still very happy.) Again, I couldn't get into VCA, so I took her to a walk-in clinic. They looked at the wound and suggested I put my dog down... I got my antibiotics and went home. About 9 days later, I called VCA... They said it definitely wasn't a bed sore and gave her 11 stitches! (and were of me giving the best care I can in the weeks or months that she has left to live.)

I took my cat to these guys when he was having issues chewing his fur off his back end. I was concerned that when I took him he would be traumatized because he had never been to a vet and never had any of his shots. He had been to a rolling vet when he was neutered and when he came back home he would not come out of his kennel for a week. He was so traumatized. When I took him to these guys I could not go in with him because of covid. When he came back home he was his normal self even after getting his rabies shot. The people were friendly and the vet made sure I was in the loop of the care she was giving him. She made sure afterwards that I knew all the instructions. I am so impressed by them that I fully recommend them to everyone!

Today was the 1st exam for my kitten. The staff were amazing, explained the proceedures, answered all of my question and carried him with care in his carrier. The Veternarian was excellent as well.

The staff and Drs at VCA are always so nice and thorough with me and my pups. I never feel like I'm bothering them when I call 100 times with questions. They are sincere and professional and I feel very comfortable taking my pets there. You can tell they really care about animals and take their job seriously.

I recently brought my senior cat for an appointment and felt compelled to write a review. The team at this vet really radiates the empathy they have for your pet. I was able to get a work up on my cat and figure out what was going on with her. Their pricing is extremely reasonable compared to the multiple other clinics I called to make an appointment. I highly recommend this vet.

VCA at panther lake is the only place I trust to take care of my boxer. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and kind. They really take the time to go over things with you and make sure you understand the situation. I will be a customer for life! Kayla L. At the front desk was so sweet and welcoming, and Dr. B was great.

I was referred to this hospital and it did not disappoint! The team was incredibly patient and knowledgeable when addressing my concerns. I’ve had my cat for over 10 years and have always had anxiety when trusting a vet but I felt at ease during our visit. Much thanks to Kayla, Jennifer and Debbie! Y’all are amazing!

I tried to make my dog an appointment and the lady just told me they didn’t have anything available in the next couple weeks then asked me “Is there a reason why you want her to be seen HERE?” As opposed to going somewhere else...you are a vet right?? We haven’t established care anywhere yet for our puppy and now I will never go here.

I am always very nervous bringing my dog to the vet because she has such bad anxiety, but the staff here is so friendly, comforting, and amazing! Kayla took such great care of my fur baby like she was her own and took the extra time to comfort her & put her at ease! I would recommend everyone bring their pets here!

This is a vet . That use to have a very good name and reputation "VETS FOR LESS" . It has been bought up by a conglomerate and they no longer have your animal in mind . Your initial visit is reasonable , that's the bait and switch . Your next visit if you choose will be an estimate of what your animal should also have done , At inflated prices . This place has lost its honor and Integrity, and is now just a business to take your money . I spotted it right away . My family has a long history of fostering pets from" PAWS" I found another VETERINARY in Edgewood, and I am very pleased with there service.

This is the worst I have ever came across. Even one star is a lot to give. It takes weeks for diagnose to be told and when I call to talk to the doctor I have to do it daily for them to return one phone call that I have been trying two weeks. They keeps saying doctor is busy or out of the office. Doctor don’t call it’s the front desk and they don’t give you answers. I am still waiting for a phone call regarding the condition of my dog. No response. Also we did once teeth cleaning that was $200 something and This year when requested a quote it was in the $1000 range. When my sister called they gave her same quote same date but $800 price range. When I called to discuss they gave me 3rd price staying that’s the price. So which one is true ???Not to mention how mean front desk employees are. I’m so disappointed from their way of work and treating my dog. She is very sick and I can’t get medication or treatment or talk to a doctor. We changed facilities where they took care of us right away. My dog almost died. Shame on you!!!!! You could not killed her ! Stay away and protect your pets with another clinics where you actually take care of them. Not here.

I've been bringing my dogs to this location for almost 11 years. Since they switched over it has been nothing but a nightmare! The front desk, Kayla is the most unprofessional front desk I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Do not bring your pet here as they will make it a point to show you they DON'T care about your animal it's all about the money. Kayla, you should find a job where customer service and animals aren't involved because you've made it very evident you don't care about either. And I hope you never run into a situation where something or someone you care about is in immediate need where someone ignores you and them. If something ends up happening to my dog I will ALWAYS AND FOREVER remember Kayla who works at VCA Panther Lake animal hospital. Thanks Kayla! You would think VCA would hiring competent and compassionate employees rather then someone just wanting a paycheck..........by the way I've called several times to speak about this matter with the manager yet still nothing and Kayla still HAS NOT sent my records as she stated before promptly hanging up on me. These responses are very generic and made up. Way to go VCA again showing how much effort you apply for your patients, customers, and business?

We brought our senior black lab, Sugar, in for a check-up after her health seemed to decline rapidly. I hadn't realized Panther Lake Animal Hospital no longer took walk-ins and we arrived without an appointment. They were booked solid (because they're awesome) but after hearing about Sugar's symptoms the doctor made time to see her within the hour. He and his wonderful staff discovered an advanced cancerous tumor far back in Sugar's mouth and after taking the time to explain her situation, patiently answer my questions, and compassionately advise me on the options for a dog as old as ours, they performed surgery that very day. Two days later Sugar was a brand new dog. Energetic, content, and very happy to eat everything within reach. The hospital called to check on her the next day, and many weeks later when I brought Sugar in for her rabies shot the staff remembered her, came out from the back to say hello, and were genuinely happy to see her doing well. We're so grateful to everyone at Panther Lake Animal Hospital. Just a fantastic group of skilled, caring people who really seem to love what they do. They've made such a difference in our lives.

I was a little weary of taking my kitty there due to the negative reviews after ownership change, however they were very friendly over the phone and answered all of my questions. They took my pet back right after arriving and within 15 min they came back and gave me a breakdown of everything needed and i was able to make payment from my car. They did the exam, provided the medication and gave my pet his shots all within 30 minutes. Quick and friendly experience for me!

Been bring our dogs here for awhile. They have very reasonable prices. Wait times are not as bad as others claim due to them taking appointments now.

I've been taking my 17 year (this year) old cat to this clinic for several years and have always been very pleased with their vets and service - until now. I took Gracie in November for an annual checkup and a bladder infection.. She remained in her carrier until we got into the exam room when I let her out. Gracie is an indoor car and it"s cold out so she isn't even going out on our patio. In December, I took her to my former vet for scratching and she had a massive flea infection. Panther Lake takes no responsibility for this. My advice - don't go to Panther Lake!

This is not towards the actual Drs at all! All towards the receptionists. They are very rude and short over the phone as well as in person. They don’t seem to like being asked questions and hang up quick before you can even say thank you. I’ve been to other Vets before which were much more busier than these guys and received better service so I don’t understand what’s making them so flustered. The Vet Howe is great! Such a shame the receptionists are the reason patients are leaving.

Had an appointment today. Called in the morning to confirm. Got there 10 minutes before to make sure we were on time called and to let them know we were there. The receptionist told us some one will be right outt get us, 16 minutes later l called back to check. The receptionist was short and said that most Times they call their patients in with in 5 mis of the appointment but she can't be sure so I told her that it was hot outside and we had made the appointment 3 weeks ago and I didn't understand why they couldn't see us on time. Again she sounded angry and told me to wait and someone will come to get us. No one came for another 15 min at which point I left. According to me that was so disrespectful they have no respect for their clients time we made the appointment 3 weeks in advance got there before and still they didn't have enough courtesy to apologise or let us know they were running late or anything really bad service never go there. I wouldn't give any stars if that was an option.

Today was my 4th and final visit. I waited an hour and a half for a *vaccine* - which is supposed to be faster, but no .. I left before getting the vaccination because I have another appointment - we're finding another vet. This is the second time I've had to leave because of the extraordinary wait - worse, when I would asked "How much longer?" They said, in every instance, they had no idea. No idea. The two times I stayed to get my pup a vaccination I didn't have appointments after and wondered why I would waste so much time waiting for such minor care. The cost is not really a savings because the original practice was bought out by these folks. I won't have to worry about those waits any longer and there are plenty of good vets in the area.

VCA was so great! I was able to get an appointment that fit right in with my schedule. I was greeted by all the staff at the front receptionist counter. The vet Dr Barrington was really kind and thorough. The vet techs were super nice and cared for my dog as if she was their own, not to mention the practice manager that was super kind and put my dogs fears to rest. My dog usually is very frightened when going to the vets but she was happy and didn’t get upset at all. I definitely will be a repeat customer and will recommend them to all my friends and family! Thank you Panther Lake VCA! You’re great!

Your federalway VCA location is TRASH. They just made me wait 2 hours with a puppy that has something in it's throat because they are understaffed and told me they could help me then told me I was going to pay 300+ $ to tell me to go to an emergency vet because they couldn't help. After confirming with me they could. They are Literally just trying to milk for $ I am posting this on EVERY group I belong to. The rooms were filthy hair and whatever clumped in the corner, treating people who have used the location for years like pests particularly the chick with glasses and blue green hair. The original lady was very helpful and kind that i checked in with and the vet tech. The VET didn't even look or touch her neck throat open her mouth anything she came in for all of 3 minutes and left. When it was vets for less we came in and actually got help they seemed ro care for real. This is sickening. I am now waiting to get my dog some real care.

I took both my dogs here to have their teeth cleaned. I was a little concerned after reading all the reviews, but ultimately they did a fantastic job. Everyone was nice to my dogs and myself. They were professional and courteous. The price was right was less then $400 for both dogs. I’m not sure why all the negative reviews. I was comfortable and my dogs are home now with me sleeping off their big day. Was totally worth the savings over the prices many other vets were quoting for the same service.
