Always take great care of our dog even though she can be a bit anxious! Unlike the groomer, she is excited and runs straight in when we visit!

Dr. Watson is the most brilliant vet I've ever met. The office is beautiful and tranquil. Really feels like home.

It has been over a year since I went to Big Valley for my chocolate lab, Coco. Unfortunately, Coco passed away from cancer. I think Big Valley Vet walks on water. I did not know what was wrong with Coco & when I contacted them about my dog's problems they immediately came to his aid. They were extremely thorough & caring. Unfortunately, when they discovered what was wrong it was too late. I will be forever grateful for their services. Just wished they were located closer to Sequim, WA.

Dr. Watson and her staff are always professional, personable, helpful and kind. We will be bringing our pups happily to Big Valley Vet for life.

Love big Valley Vet! They are a holistic veterinary practice. I brought my Springer and cat in for rabies shots with a technician today. My dog kept scratching at his ear even though he had no redness or yeasty smells. Dr. Leska found the time to check out his ears even though we didn't have an actual vet appointment for him. They found a lot of gunk and infection deep down in his ears. They cleaned it all out and applied meds deep within the ear. Thanks to Dr. Leska and the vet techs my boy is a lot more comfortable now!

Excellent veterinary clinic- knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, warm/friendly environment, kind and gentle. My pets are members of our family and I trust Dr. Watson and her staff completely. Thanks!

I love taking my cat to this vet! They have the best prices by far.

Did nothing that improved the condition of our dog. Huge expense for a misdiagnosis.

Genuinely enjoy the style and approach at this veterinary care clinic, such as nutrition, and holistic approaches. Nice to have traditional medical as back up in case those lines of defenses don't remedy. Didn't see any price gouging, as I checked on a few things. I travel over a half hour for their services, and is well worth it.

My puppy loves this place. We lucked out and saw a friend's dog while visiting. The staff all make a point to relate with the animals

Dr. Watson is good, but some of her tech and a receptionist are incredibly opinionated and rude. Some tech treats you as you know nothing and Ivonne the receptionist is the most offensive. She is not willing to listen to the client concern. The office manager never returned my call. Just to compare I called the local vet who does some holistic care and the receptionist who answered the phone is fantastic. I asked the same questions, and she was delighted to answer that. The receptionist has to be pleasant and polite because they are in the front to represent the clinic. If I need the real holistic care, I will take my dogs to my old vet even I have to drive far. I'm revising my review after I talked to the office manager Haley at Big Valley Veterinary service. I still have not had a positive experience with Yvonne( or Ivonne). My last visit at the BVVS was good but Yvonne stared at me not even greeted me. If you cannot at least smile to a customer, there is something wrong, and she shouldn't be in a front. Dr. Watson, Haley, the tech, Michelle and Jeanne at the front I saw the day was good. Dr. Watson offers excellent service so I will continue to bring my pets there.

This place is the best Veterinary service in the wider area, better than both vets on bainbridge, far more thorough, far more aware of price and very holistic and non invasive in their care plans. Feel increasingly lucky to have Dr. Watson and Dr. Leska, and every single person on their team helping me as my dogs care becomes harder. Can't recommend highly enough.

I've been taking my dogs here for 15 years or more, I lost count. Dr. Cable is gone and that was an upset for me. Over the years I had developed a strong trust and it was a huge relief for me to have that through the tough times. But, so far so good with the new Doc. Shelby Watson.

Excellent quality of care and more than reasonably priced. Wholeheartedly recommend Big Valley Vet for any pet care you may need.

We recently switched vets to Big Valley (Dr. Shelby Watson specifically). Our previous vet was okay but not what we were looking for for our dogs. We are raw feeders and have a holistic/natural approach to health, for ourselves as well as our dogs (Alaskan Malamutes), and minimize vaccines by following Dr. Jean Dodds' vaccination protocol. We got tired of the seeming apathy in general by our prior vet's office, and their constant pushing of vaccines and chiding us for raw feeding (and of course their lack of knowledge about nutrition in general). Thank goodness we found Dr. Watson! She's been absolutely fantastic. She has a well-rounded background in species appropriate nutrition and really understands why it's important. We brought our young adolescent male dog in for a comprehensive exam, which includes a thorough discussion of nutrition (so refreshing! Most traditional vets know very little about nutrition, just what they learned in vet schools, which are owned by pet food manufacturers!) and any other questions you may have. Dr. Watson was wonderful with our dog, clearly understanding the need to build a relationship with the dog rather than just rushing in and doing their business like so many traditional vets do. Another thing that's really important to us is that Dr. Watson is happy to converse with us by email or phone between appointments if we have any questions. Once you establish your pet as a patient she's happy to do this and that means a lot to us. It really shows how much she cares about doing right by the dog rather than having a silly one-size-fits-all policy.

The atmosphere and people are wonderful. I don't dread going to the vet anymore! We just moved to Poulsbo from the Seattle side and have been so pleasantly surprised by the reduced cost, expertise, and over all experiences we've had at Big Valley. There's so much love and care for the animals. I highly recommend it!

Dr. Shelby Watson came into the room, made eye contact with me and allowed my suspicious GSD to take a moment to sniff her out. Then Dr. Watson sat on the floor, continued to talk with me as she offered my dog a treat. Other vets wanted to muzzle my dog and/or take her into another room, whereas Dr. Watson had my dog eating out of her hand in minutes. Dr. Watson patiently listened to my life story while evaluating my dog. She allowed me to hold "Lucy" while she looked in her ears and gave her a rabies booster. Lucy was a good girl and made me proud. She even listened to me and heeled to the front desk, making me look good. :-D It was such a great visit, I asked Dr. Watson for a hug afterwards. I look forward to bringing my dogs to Big Valley in the future, and I'd highly recommend them to you. 10 Stars!

Our dog actually likes being boarded, they give him such special attention. Have found staff to be friendly, helpful and they genuinely love our dog. It's nice to go away on vacation and not worry about the pet!
