Short-handed too many people too busy blah blah

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel I should. We recently moved to the neighborhood and our dog was over due for a nail trimming. So we swung by during their walk in hours. They told us our dogs nails weren’t long enough to trim and to wait for our grooming appointment. So we trusted them. The grooming appointment came and we stressed that we wanted his nails and dew claws trimmed. They again, did not trim nails and told us they we’re not long enough. A couple weeks later I decided to grab a walk in at our old groomers. They were surprised zimmers had refused to cut his nails, and said they couldn’t fully trim the dew claws because the quick had grown out. Our dog has always been excited and happy when we took him to groomers or vet. This trip he was physically trembling, something he’s never done. Which makes me worry about his treatment but I can’t be sure about that. All I know is we will have to do weekly trimmings to get his nails back to healthy length. Bummed we won’t be able to keep going here. Maybe they are better with small dogs?

Cosette hates going to the groomers but these ladies are so sweet to her. I love that she doesn’t have to spend the whole day there and she comes out looking adorable. Fair pricing, great quality and customer service.

She’s so fast and efficient! She has certain hours that you can walk in for nail clipping and your probably there for maybe 5 minutes! She’s the best

My pup has never been so happy coming out of a grooming appointment! Bring cash to pay, but MORE than reasonable prices. $5 nails, $5 glands. Plenty left over to tip the nice ladies :)

Our fur kids love visiting for their grooming. We call it their spa day! The ladies are always friendly and they are always considerate of any special needs or requests. We highly recommend their services!

Best groomer in Portland! They always go the extra mile to make sure Koda is comfortable. I doubt I could take her anywhere else. Thanks for taking such good care of my baby!

Great service. Kelly & Judy will take excellent care of your fur baby. I recently moved from St Johns to Beaverton and I still drive all the way to St Johns to have these ladies take care of my angel.

I took my puppy in. The lady came from behind the counter and asked ME to hold him. He was squirming while she tried to cut his nails. He was crying....loudly. We were both devasted. This was horrible. It was his first time. Never Again.

Small local business in St John's neighborhood. My family has taken our pets to them ever since I was young. They are very catering. Since my dog panics inside they come outside to cut her nails. (Only 5.00) I havent found any other grooming place that only charges 5.00 for nails. I have been happy with zimmers dog grooming. I would recommend them. I like how they groom pets in the front (customers can see) I take that as they have nothing to hide.

Ran by two ladies and is the best place for grooming we've found so far. Doggo comes home happy and gorgeous everytime!

Very friendly and helpful. My dog hardly will let me tuch her paws let alone do her nails. She bucks like a horse and she's very strong, it usually takes my girlfriend and I plus one of the groomers to get her nails cut. But they are very safe and respectful of our little girl.
