Timberland Animal Clinic Portland, Washington

There are many reviews saying this place has reasonable prices without listing what they paied and had done. I paied 79 bucks for this vet to look at my cat for 20 min or so. Then it always takes further testing to actually know what's wrong.

Wouldnt even attempt to ballpark a quote for a procedure. Have had 3 other vets quote a procedure for me in the area and they wanted me to go through the hassle of establishing care, lots of paperwork and paying for an initial visit, before they would tell me a price. Not recommended if your are looking for a new vet.

There super nice and give a good care to your pets

I picked this clinic online and I feel I made the best choice. The staff is friendly and the Dr is very kind and knowledgeable. I will continue taking my cats here.

Have had nothing but good experiences. They love my dog. They are super caring and helpful with any questions I have had. My dog has allergies and they made treating him so easy. Both my mom and brother also use them for vet services. Also reasonably priced.

Best vet possible. Good staff, professional and accommodating staff. We have 6 dogs and they take care of everytime. We moved to Longview and still make the drive to use this vet. Can't say enough good things.

We recently moved to the area and were recommended this clinic but there were a lot of things wrong here. For starters, half of the staff was un-masked and they don’t even allow you to go back with your pet. I watched a staff member lose patient paperwork carelessly flipping it around, and another talk negatively about a client with the client on hold while I waited ages for them to ooh and ahh over how cute my cat was and not actually do anything (she was already tested and diagnosed at an emergency clinic and we brought the records with us.) They also charged an exam fee twice the cost of the emergency vet we initially took her to to give us an estimate that we were not even allowed to keep at the end (incredibly shady) that was twice the cost of the identical surgery quote we got elsewhere. They also stated the only reason they needed the exam was “the doctor who does these surgeries doesn’t do them often and isn’t sure they’re capable.” If you love your pets, stay far away from here.

The vet is very personable and was great with our puppy.

Small building and somewhat difficult location but the wonderful, kind, and patient staff more than made up for any problems.

I have been going here for years they are always nice and quick to setup an appointment.

About 4 1/2 years, ago I brought my son's Red Eared Slider, Snappy into the clinic to meet with a specialist. Snappy's skull began to expand on one side of his head and I began to worry. At that time, Snappy had been with us 28 years. This month just after he turned 33 years, Snappy passed away. He was a good pet.

Vets are kind, truly interested in your pet and the techs are efficient and personable.

They are a good quality team at Timberland and take excellent care of my puppies.

We’ve been taking our dog there for 14yrs. Excellent customer service and genuine care is shown towards our dog. Dr. Merle and Dr. Becky are an unrivaled team when it comes to dealing with difficult situations with our dog’s history of CCL tears. The “Tightrope” surgery on his knees have held firm with zero complications...that’s five years post-op! Stay true to what you both do. It’s saving lives!

Dr. Merrill, his wife and the rest of the team at timberlyne Clinic are so caring, compassionate, and willing to do anything to help your pet baby. We have been with them 4 over 10 years now and when we had to say goodbye to our cocker spaniel, he made a house visit as well as joined us in prayer to send our precious cocker spaniel into his next lifetime. These guys are the real deal and I will always support Timberland Clinic!

With the pandemic, I only met one staff member. She was super nice and was knowledgeable about the dogs needs and care. I will be using this vet for my dogs going forward.

I took my chonk kitty Snowball in for a fur problem. He had some serious matting and he is a bit of a bully so would need sedation to be taken care of. My last experience with a vet was at Banfield and I was unhappy to say the least (this is not abnormal from my understanding). The staff at Timberland was beyond amazing. They were patient and understanding and you could tell they actually cared for the animals. It will now be my go to for kitty care. Thank you for everything you did for Snowba Fett. We are truly grateful.

Timberland Animal Clinic is rated well beyond five stars. The staff is the most friendly, caring individuals and the most trusted to leave your pet with. Everyone there provides the most excellent care and friendliest customer service. I cannot say enough they are wonderful. God Bless them

Great team here, has a experienced bird vet on staff, a co-owner. Came on a busy Wednesday and the staff efficiently ran out the paperwork and carried the pets inside. You will need a appointment for covid rules,

Timberland is not my regular vet office, however I had an urgent matter and my vet was not able to squeeze my kitten into their schedule and recommended Timberland. The staff was so amazing and caring even tho they knew my kitten wasn't a regularly seen pt.

They were quick and we were treated wonderfully. My dog got neutered and he was happy and not much pain. We are happy.

Great people, but I sure can't afford my pets anymore.

They were great! My Zeus was itching his paw really bad and it swelled up and was very irritated. I called and they were able to fit me in immediately. Sensing I was panicking. I arrived and they were very friendly and professional. They took Zeus in and were able to let me know what was wrong and laid out a solution. I am very grateful.

I started going to this vet during COVID, so I haven't ever actually set foot in the building. But, after several vets, Dr. Becky was the first person to correctly diagnose my cat with hyperthyroidism. She was very thorough, and recommended a series of tests accounting for what was most likely, what was treatable, and what it would cost. He's been back twice for follow up now, to monitor his thyroid and kidney levels, and every time, Dr. Becky is very communicative, veryavery concerned about his well-being, and very kind. I don't know if she is pricier than other vets for the services my kitty needs: since she was the first vet to give him a proper diagnosis, I have nothing to compare with. I know cost can be a barrier for some people, but in my opinion, her services have been worth the money.

Just got both my kittens spayed at Timberland Animal Clinic and they did a fantastic job of communicating and letting me know what my kitties need. Also learned from them that I was feeding my cats the equivalent of potato chips and I’m so glad I learned that so I could change their diet while their young. Thank you!! Would highly recommend!

These folks are all about caring for ur babies. Good Dr's and good staff make a stressful time for u a little easier. They truly have huge hearts and very compassionate about helping ur babies get well. Give them a try.
