Pounce Play and Stay Portland, Washington

I cannot recommend this place enough. My kitty is my baby, and it was such a relief to know that he was so well cared for.

Very detailed oriented and in tune awareness to cat psychological needs. It's been my second time using PPS services and am at ease with Windy's care for my domestic short hair. Lots of room to roam, personal attention, and daily pics with updates. Love it

Highly recommend this place!!! I was out of town for almost two weeks, and I was extremely hesitant to board my cat, because he is a pandemic pet who has had basically no socialization and never been away from us for any significant amount of time. After some research, I chose Pounce and Play to board my cat and it went great!! This is truly a business by and for cat lovers. ????‍⬛ Windy was very understanding of my anxieties about leaving my cat and did a great job of explaining how cats are introduced to the communal space to ensure their safety and comfort. They gave me daily updates (with photos!) about how he was doing and what kind of attention he was getting from the staff. Windy has a strong risk management mentality, so even if your cat is super shy, they'll be comfortable and safe. Pick up and drop off was smooth, booking was well done...just every step of the way was great. You really can't go wrong with these folks.

I love this place. I boarded my cat here for over a week while I was on vacation. They sent multiple updates (with pictures - one is attached) which gave me peace of mind. When I picked her up it was clear how much attention they paid to her - she was so fluffy from multiple brushings! Windy was very communicative throughout the booking process as well. She was great to work with! I will definitely bring my girl here next time I’m away.

Boarding our cat during a heatwave while we were on vacation gave me peace of mind knowing he would be cared for in a nice, playful, air conditioned environment. Wendy is a great communicator and she sent updates regularly on how well our boy was adjusting to his first boarding experience. She knows cats well and predicted he would become a "player" and he did! I will definitely use Pounce, Play, and Stay again, thanks, Wendy!

Great place for cat boarding!

Pounce Play and Stay is a wonderful place to board your kitty who is maybe best not left alone at home. Our cat can be hard on pet sitters, so we found Pounce, and we'll definitely book again. Windy is very thoughtful and does a great job of sending us updates and photos. The cats have their own apartments, plus a communal area to mingle. It's a nice option for your cat, with guaranteed companionship while you're out of town.

Great place to board your kitty

I can't say enough good things about this company! I recently just went on a week long vacation. I decided to go with the at home visits- once a day. Stephanie and Jack provided us with a detailed update, with pictures, everyday! They took such good care of our kitties and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. We will be definitely going with pounce play and stay for any future cat sitting needs :)

They are doing such a great job! I was so happy that Jessie could stay at this place.

Our cat Georgie stayed at Pounce and Play for a few days last week. IT'S LIKE A FANCY CAT RESORT, PEOPLE. Very nice employees, excellent facilities. Recommended.

I love Pounce! The staff there are awesome, always really responsive and accommodating. I prefer this place over other cat boarding options because they're not locked in their little room the whole time. I know my cat enjoys being able to play with the toys and socialize with the other cats because Pounce sends picture updates! I also appreciate that their check-in and check-out times are flexible. Highly recommend!

Ver caring staff. Acomidated to every need and beyond.

I love the service at Pounce and Play. Last time I was late to drop off and they stayed late to take in my kitty. I am so grateful to have this cat hotel in town, where my Siamese can make friends, play all day, and have his own cabana at night. They always send update photos to make me smile while I’m away. They take such good care of the cats and establish relationships with each pet. Would highly recommend them— Dio loves to go!

I'm new to town so I didn't have any options for having friends check on my cat while I was going to be traveling. I wan't thrilled about boarding my cat because she's never been boarded before and she's a very nervous kitty but I'm so pleased and impressed with the staff at Pounce Play and Stay! They took such great care of her and sent me daily pictures of her as she acclimated to the space. I could tell she was getting lots of love and attention and was doing okay while I was gone. I'm so glad I found this place so I can travel without worrying about my cat while I'm gone!!!

Staff is very friendly and flexible. The space is perfect for kitties, with lots of open space and toys, but also condos where the cats can spend time alone if they prefer. Love this place!

Our cat doesn't do well when we leave for more than a couple days and we needed to find a place that could give our little boy the attention and care he needed. Pounce Play and Stay is just that place. There's tons of nooks and crannies where our cat likes to hang out and every time we've gone there, all the cats are getting along. If a cat wants to hang out in their multi story room they can, but it just seems like there's more than enough space for the cats to be alone if they want or interact with each other if that's their preference. We love that Jen and Lisa are so good with cats and really love them. And we also really like getting pictures of our buddy while we're away so we know he's doing well and what he's up to.

Pounce Play and Stay is awesome! Ginger, Lisa and the entire team are so loving and thoughtful with the cats. We feel safe and at ease leaving our cats here for overnight visits. Great rates, cozy environment and most importantly, lots of love, play and attention for the cats. Peace of mind is everything when we travel and Pounce provides that, plus they'll even clip our kitties nails too. Love it and so happy this opened in Portland!

Our little Magic loves to stay at Pounce, Play, and Stay. Both staff and other kitties are great. Magic makes herself at home in a New York minute, because that's just how hip and catnip this place is. Each cat gets their own condo to stay in, but they also get to socialize with others as they like. There's plenty of lounge areas and toys to keep the feline intellect engaged and at ease. I highly recommend this kitty camp to other humans who wish only the best for their cat overlords.
