My furry daughter either injured her ACL or has bone cancer according to this Vet. Upon 1St visit which cost upward of $600 blood was drawn amongst other treatments and a few days later this Vet called to tell me that my daughters blood counts showed bone cancer. Needless to say I was devastated. 2 weeks later she needed more blood work done so I took her in. This visit was upwards of $200 and amazingly the Vet was able to check blood right away and all of a sudden the Vets not sure of what is going on and after thinking about it felt Panda "might" not have cancer but an ACL injury but will not know for sure without x-ray. Who does this? The vet should not have even mentioned cancer if not absolutely sure. My dog is my family so I (and friends) cried our eyes out when vet said bone cancer. Time to find a new vet. How can I trust a vet who makes not for sure diagnoses like bone cancer? And why would I consider spending anymore money for more tests/labs and/or X-rays as if the vet can be trusted in her lack of ability to thoroughly diagnose and even mention something as terminal as cancer to only change her mind 2nd go round? I have lost all faith in this clinic/Veterinarian. The least she should do is offer free X-rays but would I trust her impressions? So if your loaded with money unlike me and love a doctor who throws cancer out there good luck. So disappointed and beyond upset so I DO NOT recommend this clinic and/or Vet.

My daughter made an appointment for her dog to get his shots. The clinic confirmed the appointment. She had to work that day so I took her dog. They refused to see him because it wasn't my daughter that brought him. Hello?! Don't you think you should have mentioned that she had to bring in the dog WHEN the appointment was made?! So, the dog didn't get his shots, I drove all the way across town for nothing, and your clinic lost three customers ( as my whole family has been bringing our pets here for years). But what really upset me was the indifference from the receptionist. It was almost as if she took pleasure from refusing to see our pet.

I am leaving a review not because I visited this provider, but rather to let the clinic know that I am chosing not to use this clinic based upon the reviews I have read here. Sure there are many positive reviews and that is great, but there are also negative reviews. Thecreadon I decided not to visit is vecause many of those negative reviews were never addressed which I found to be unacceptable. A business us never goingvto please everyone, but ensuring that a customer's concerns/issues are at a minimum acknowledged says a lot about the values of the business. As a potential customer I look for negative reviews a business has been given not for the issue but rather for how they responded in order to get a feel for how they may respond if a problem/concern with their services happened for me. Unfortunately based upon the posted reviews and like of response by your clinic, the most probable outcome would be nothing, not even an acknowledgement.

Our dog Meme needed her boosters and she hates the vet. But the folks at PVWC are so great and Swift and efficient and kind Meme doesn't comeback distraught only slightly disappointed in us as her humans for making her go in the first place. We're the worst according to Meme but the techs at PVWC are not. Thank you for taking care of our pup!

I called about having to put my dog down deu to an injury. They were rude and said they have no idea what it will cost. It is such a hard decision to make and for them to be rude on the phone just goes to prove how they treat their patients aka fur babies

Amazing help from their employees. Found a lost doggo and they let us come in and sit while they scanned for a microchip. Ended up finding doggo's person. Thank you guys for helping

Friendly, efficient, a good value..it'll be even better when COVID restrictions are less stringent and I can accompany my pet inside. But for now I'm happy with Portland Veterinary Wellness Center and grateful for the dedicated professionals who make it what it is. Thanks ♥️

I was so pleased with my experience at Portland Veterinary Wellness Center. Dr. Flott was incredible and answered all of my questions and reviewed a treatment plan with multiple options to make sure our needs were met. She was thorough and extremely compassionate with my sick kitty. I’m so grateful he was in such good hands! The prices were extremely fair and affordable and the quality of care was top notch. I can’t recommend this clinic enough! Nowhere else I’d want to take care of my sweet boy.

I'm new to this vet. I think they're doing a good job; the techs are nice, the doc is attentive and all my questions and concerns were answered.

Dr. Emma, was absolutely Fantastic with my 2 girls. Sasha, who is 12 years old and Diamond who is 7. She was very thrustful and the girls warmed up to her really quick. The Staff all were definitely thoughtful and took in my girls as if they were one of theirs. I will definitely be coming to them in the future.

Super friendly. This is my new Doggy health place. Not pushy or info-mercial about my little pup. But helpful and fair priced.

The staff there are always so caring and the vets are very thorough and answer all of our questions. We know our guinea pigs are in good hands and that’s so important to us. We don’t live close by but we will continue to make the trip.

I requested some exams and a rabies vaccine for my dog but somehow they added 3 other vaccines. I feel ripped off.

Very friendly staff they handled the paperwork out at my car. The only downfall was all the pills they were pushing on my dog

Very caring environment! I was genuinely choked up a little when I saw that they have a small candle they light if anyone is experiencing having to let their dog pass. If you have ever experienced that pain, you know small gestures like that feel like big hugs.

Portland Veterinary Wellness got us in quickly when our current vet had no appointments for our injured old dog. I am so pleased with our care and can't say enough about Dr Schwartz and her team. They are up front about costs and different treatment plans for any budget, but most of all keeping the care and wellbeing for your pet in mind. We will be switching over for all our care from here on out at Portland Veterinary Wellness. Really appreciate all the reminders and follow up confirmations for my upcoming appointment. Thanks!

My small dog and large cat both had a problem with fleas and I had to take them to the vet for treatment. It was our first visit to this Vet Clinic as our previous vet had retired. I was very impressed with our Veterinary Tech. She was very professional and listened and offered suggestions. I liked her very much.
