Very friendly staff and meet the owner (I think ????) My Maggie was clean, soft, nails done and very pretty. She was definitely well taken care of and prices were more than reasonable. They have a customer for life!!

I arrived early to pick up my dog to watch one of their employees yank his harness hard then slam him down (they were informed of his hip dysplasia. The next day his eye was blood red so I took him to the vet and they said it was due to stress and being choked. I’ll never go back.

Very friendly and knowledgeable about her work. Is very patient with the animals and the owners. Great service even with just one person working.only issue is they aren't good at returning calls.

Highly recommend. I've been bringing my dogs to Portland Pampered Pets for almost 10 years - first with my old dog (Newfie/ Golden mix) and now with my Great Pyrenees, Flo. It feels like such a treat for both my dog and my family - I don't know how they do it but my dog has *always* come out looking and feeling like a silky cloud and it saves me weeks of shedding. My pup even knows she gets a ton more pets after being groomed. I see some reviews with complaints about cash only and unclean and such, but to me, it's an older Portland hole in the wall grooming salon and I don't expect it to be a sparkling, top of the line facility (most grooming salons aren't!). I honestly think it's perfect the way it is - the owner is a sweetheart and so is Chelsea, who has been grooming Flo recently. If you have specific needs or requests for how you want your dog groomed, I would recommend just asking them, they've always been incredibly accommodating over any requests I have. I so appreciate the work these gals do - thank you PPP!

Ezra is amaaaazing! Our two giant breed dogs have a TON of fur and love the mud and they look like different dogs (in the best way) when we get them back. And the prices are totally reasonable!

Wendy is amazing. She takes wonderful care of my elderly little Yorkie, Scooter. I highly recommend her. I’ve had nothing but the most positive experiences with Portland Pampered Pets and all their groomers. He absolutely loves going there! Thank you for all the love throughout the years!

called multiple times to make sure they offer the services i am interested in. i received no response during business hours. i left a voicemail which was also not returned. this business might be permanently closed.

Our go to spot for our airedale. I think they treat him well there bc he doesn't mind hanging w them. Always look'n sharp.

They took off way more hair than I asked for and my dog came home with fleas.

They have been great at quickly tending to our dogs claws. I only go there for walk in trimming. Nice people.

I love love love this place. They are pleasant, will always squeeze in and great handlers of my scared doggo. He has wonderful nails, smells great and is super soft when I pick him up. Great pricing too. Note: cash or check only so be prepared.

This place is amazing my poor dogs needed a grooming so bad because of covid and my work schedule.and one of the wonderful ladys there stayed late to groom both of my dogs and well one of them im sure made her wish she didn't ... but she was wonderful with them I can't thank them enough.... I highly recommend this shop I will continue to come here if they will allow us lol... yes my dog is that much of a brat.

Affordable, easy to get an appointment during a very booked early summer for dog grooming! Took off a star only bc the shop is a little bit anxiety inducing…lots of loud noises, crates and they certainly aren’t hiding anything! A turn and burn kind of place, but good in a pinch.

Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible either. My problem is they don't have any set pricing, and will charge you whatever they feel like charging at the time. My roommate's 70 pound husky got a wash and nail trim for $40. My ten pound chihuahua got the same thing for $30. Another review online had a chihuahua of the same weight as mine that got a wash, nail trim, AND cut for only $25. There's no consistency at all with their pricing and to be honest, if it's not leaving me and my dog hopping with joy, which it wasn't, I'll just trim her nails and wash her coat at home for free and get the same level of quality.

Took my puppy in for a full grooming. Not only didn't they do what I asked, there are wild hairs sticking out everywhere. Have her face is shaved and not the other half. Same with one back leg. This was my second time there, first time was just okay and that's the reason I was specific on what I wanted. I would take her back, but they would probably be mean to her for having to do it again. I say this because they are so rude to humans. It's close to my house and I was hoping the second time would be good. But I will never go there again. Worst dog haircut ever and now I have to pay for someone to clean her up. Don't waste your cash.

Portland's Pampered Pets is amazing!! Our dog was always nervous at the groomer's, especially when it came to blow drying. Other groomer's would have to leave him wet to air dry. But the staff here is always able to make him feel comfortable enough to dry him! They are great with him and he always seems happy when he leaves. We just moved out of the area and will really miss taking Scotty here. Would highly recommend!!

My dog's hair wasn't done the way I asked. I arrived early to pick her up and the groomer was yelling at my dog to sit still. The place was a mess, hair and dogs all over. Wouldn't recommend.

I called them in the morning and they got my shih tzu in that day. Took about 3.5 hours. They did a great job! She has gotten so many compliments on how cute she is.

I’ve had my 12 pound Bichon/poodle mix groomed here about 4 times now. They do an amazing job! It usually takes about 2 hours from drop off to pick up. Since our most recent visit two days ago we’ve received so many compliments from strangers while out walking around the neighborhood. I’m sure we will continue bringing him here for a very long time.

The employees here are great, they do a job I am not able to do myself (trimming my dog’s nails), and they do it quickly and kindly, even though my dog tries to squirm around. They are even open during the pandemic to support the community. I really appreciate this place.
