Have been going here for a few years and even after traveling for almost 2 years they still made me and my dog feel so comfortable! They have amazing patience! My dog has bad anxiety going in for exams, but Dr Castle and her assistant were so warming with offering treats to show him he can trust them. I appreciate all they do. Thank you! ????

We’ve been coming to Portland Animal Clinic since I moved here 5 years ago. Dr. Castle is seriously amazing and went above and beyond when my 15yo pup needed emergency surgery and we were having trouble getting him in anywhere. Dr. Castle always puts both of my dog’s health first and is the best animal advocate I have ever met. So so grateful to have found this clinic! Also, the vet techs are always amazing and so sweet. Both my dogs are comfortable here and that is so important to me. Cannot recommend enough!

Lisa is the best groomer we’ve found in Portland. She takes such good care of our dogs and they always leave looking show ready!

Our Cat got into a fight after hours. Wait time at Pet ER was 12 hours. This Vet was able to see our cat the next morning and give him the antibiotic and pain medication he needed.

It's always great to find a place your dogs feel comfortable going to, and you feel good about taking them too (And I have Chihuahuas). I'm just had our first medical visit, not for vaccines or a wellness check up. These visits used to cost so much. But they looked around to help find a good deal on my dogs medicine for me. Portland Animal Clinic quickly scheduled time to see my cat with a suspected urinary tract infection. My cat was in the clinic less than 30 minutes after I called! Their care has always been outstanding!

We love Dr. Castle and the team at Portland Animal Clinic! They took great care of our cat as she went through cancer treatments and then palliative care at the end of her life. We really appreciated the excellent care and compassion they showed during a difficult time. We continue to take our animals to them even through we left the neighborhood.

Dr. Castle and her staff are wonderful. We rather drive an hour for her clinic than any others nearby. They're fair and transparent with their services.

Dr. Castle and her team are amazing! She helped me navigate my pugs end of life care and was realistic with what I could afford. She now cares for my new pug. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

The Portland Animal Clinic has been a huge part of our lives since rescuing our pup on March 29th. In the last month we have called and visited the clinic at least 6 times and the entire team (reception/techs/vet) has been thorough, patient, and kind while we worked through some unexpected and difficult health issues with a puppy we are still getting to know. I absolutely recommend the team based on their knowledge and genuine care for our girl, Kona.

I am always impressed by how friendly and welcoming every person at this facility is. I am a new puppy mom and old cat lady, and Dr. Castle consistently and calmly quells my nerves. Thank you for being great providers for my fur babies!

Great service. I always feel like the staff genuinely care about my sweet baby boy. I've been to vets where they upsell you an obscene amount, but here they recommend only what is needed and are very upfront and honest. They also do a great job grooming. I'll be a customer hopefully for years to come (my sweet boy just turned 16!)

The staff and Dr. Castle are very kind and professional. They've been wonderful to work with since I've started going there and have helped my pets tremendously where some other vets/staff have failed.
