I love Play and Chase. Staff is so nice, the space is awesome, and my dog loves it. They are great for grooming too!

Friendly staff. Good groomers. The dogs get to roam around and interact instead of being put in a cage (if they behave!).

They take great care of our puppy!

Our rescue pup LOVES this place. He will wag his tail and jump when we approach the entry and greet the employees with kisses and giant tail wags. This is probably normal for most dogs, but our dog is normally very skittish and afraid of people. I wish their video camera was up and working. The employees will tell me how he did when I pick him up, and he sleeps for a very long time when we get back home. The place smells like dog pee, but that's expected.

They took great care of our dog! We have a rescue cocker spaniel who gets really anxious and can lash out when she’s scared. I was worried about taking her to a groomers because I didn’t want her to have a negative experience and have more fear of groomers. When I explained the situation they were awesome! She had some matting and desperately needed a nail trim and an ear cleaning. They booked her first thing in the morning so it would be quieter, and they took their her time with her. They called my boyfriend with an update a little bit after we dropped her off to let him know she was doing great. We will be going here in the future!

This is to address the review of the homeless situation next to the property. If you are so very concerned about your friends living in a tent with their two children during a national crisis, you should have taken them into your home. Bashing a business for the reason you stated is wrong.

My dog loves this place!!! Whether he stays overnight or spends the day playing, he is always happy when I pick him up. Staff is wonderful and takes extra care to make him comfortable and welcome.

Love these folks! Our dog is a tripod and gets to hang out at the desk. She lives going there and enjoys the staff and the mellow dogs who can respect her space. They also board and can help point you to folks who do in-home visits.

Friendly, professional and reasonably priced. The quality of grooming is excellent, and they really do care about the pups there.

Left my dog for 3 days and the owner was super helpful and my dog had a lot of fun.

I took my new Yorkie puppy for his first grooming. Knowing that this breed hates water and is mistrustful of strangers, I expected the worst. However, the groomer here knew exactly how to make his first haircut a pleasant experience and he looks great! Highly recommend.

I have 3 Great Danes and have been a dog sitter on rover. I had friends with Children 10&12 who became homeless because of the covid pandemic. They had their tent NEXT TO the property of play and chase, not even on it. The owner apparently had no problem with them there, (at least to their faces) but yet the cops were called on them multiple times by the people at Play and Chase. I would not trust my fur babies with the low lives who treat good people and their children like that.

Best place ever! I always recommend play & chase to friends. Our boys have always seemed happy after boarding, and the grooming is 10+ stars!

Play & Chase is absolutely amazing. As I write this at 930pm our giant dane/shepherd mix is snoring loudly instead of wanting a late night walk. Mac's dog park socialization is better because of her time at P&C. I tell every dog owner I can about them. They are truly great people in an excellent facility. Boarding, day care, nails, you name it, they go above and beyond.

I have been taking Shasta here for 4 years now for everything from grooming to boarding. The staff there is always friendly and the gals that groom Shasta have always done a fantastic job. When I board her there she is not left caged up but is allowed to be out and play and is always treated like royalty! You can really trust them 100%.

I took my labradoodle Henri in a few weeks ago. He loved the girls and their open style of grooming . They were very good with him, and he looked very handsome.

Great staff. We were visiting from out of town and they were very helpful and accommodating to our road weary pup. We would definitely recommend P&CDC to anyone needing dog care in the Portland area.

My pup loves this place and they also groom, which is a plus. Wouldn't take him anywhere else.

We take our Rusty, our 10# Pekingese mix , when we leave town and can’t take him with us. We are completely confident that he is safe and very much loved. He often sits with the counter people, on their laps while they do their paperwork. It is wonderful to be able to count on them for both short term and long term stays.

ALL of the staff so friendly to both dogs and humans! Our go to place for grooming and day care. They worked with us to change our, at the time, 8 month puppy who was afraid of grooming to be much more willing and cooperative.

I’ve been having my dog (Clementine) groomed at Play and Chase for two years now. I’ve always been very happy with their work. Most recently, she got a de-shedding treatment and it. Was. Incredible. She was shedding in CLUMPS every day, and now almost NO fur is falling out. This is practically a miracle for a border collie mix; I’ve never seen her shedding so little since I adopted her. It’s also always been easy to get an appointment, and the groomers are very professional and easy to work with. Even if it weren’t super convenient for me location-wise, I’d bring my pup here for grooming.

My pups are always very happy here and I feel get taken care of well.
