Mt Tabor Veterinary Care is the gold standard of veterinarians. We got a pandemic puppy this year, and Mt Tabor has provided the most incredible care to both our dog and to us; anxious new pet owners with a puppy who has a knack for getting sick or injured. I can’t count the number of times I’ve called and spoken to the clinic staff. They’ve advised me so many times at no cost or fit my pup in for an emergency appointment. The vets have a wonderful manner with the animals. You can feel that the staff here REALLY cares about the pets and owners that they serve. The clinic itself is so warm and inviting that pets can barely tell they’re at the vet. The way it is designed really feels unlike a foreign medical environment like most vets, and more like a home. Clearly a lot of thought has been given to making an environment that makes animals and people comfortable. I could really go on and on about how much we love Mt. Tabor Veterinary Care, but I think you get the point, dear reader. A heartfelt thanks from myself and my pup to all the staff at this wonderful clinic.

They are very professional and caring. Answered all my questions did not make me feel bad about any decisions that I made. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I cannot say enough good things about Mount Tabor veterinary care. I have been going to see Dr Lisa Williams since 2014 with my dog and my cat. Their service is amazing, they are kind and compassionate, customer care is their number one priority, and your pet's welfare is the most important consideration during any appointment. I never feel pressured to get services I cannot afford. If you can have your pet seen here by any of the staff know that they are going to be well cared for.

Front office staff could use more coaching when dealing with pet owners who have lost their pets. I called about an hour before closing and was very upset due to the fact that I came home to my cat who had passed away. The front office person (Theresa) gave me phone numbers to call and handle the cremation myself. She said that it would just be easier rather than them being the middle man. There was no offer of me bringing him in or them helping me which was shocking since he had been a patient there for years. In my previous experience the vet office would help walk the family through the process and handle scheduling cremation or burial. The whole thing just felt extremely insensitive.

If you can get a new client spot it is a fantastic vet practice. Efficient covid practices as well.

I absolutely love Dr. Bussmann - I don’t have the words to honestly tell you how much it means to have a vet who not only understands my fear aggressive, very anxious dog but listens to me as a vet tech and an owner when I say “I can restrain him” (**note** this is not a normal situation, nor is it recommended for most owners to restrain their pets). I’ve had other vets in the past not listen to my request and it’s resulted in my dog peeing, screaming, attempting to bite, you name it. She is gentle and has wonderful “bed side manner”. My other dog (a lab who thinks everything on the planet was put here to love her) adores her as well. Her technicians are amazing and also read dog body language well and again, listen to me as an owner. Can not recommend Mt Tabor Vet enough. We drive 30 minutes from Vancouver just to keep seeing Dr. Bussmann!

I would bring myself here if it was possible. From start to finish the staff explained cost, listened when I asked questions & answered them with options. I couldn't have had a better experience.

When I first got my dog I did a ton of research on vets and thought Mt Tabor's approach looked a bit different, so I decided to give them a shot. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Zawadzki's gentle and thorough way of treating my dog has been a lifesaver. She always takes her time to make sure that all of my questions are answered, and is incredibly reassuring. She also never forces anything that's not necessary and it definitely shows. Even after some unpleasant treatments my pup still gets super excited to see her friends at Mt. Tabor! Heather, Tracy and the vet techs there are all so professional and kind, and they've handled all the Covid-19 issues and everything that accompanies that like complete pros. Seriously can't recommend them enough.

My husband and I have been taking our cat Hamburger here for 3 years and we love it! We see Dr Chrissy Bussmann, and she's the sweetest vet. Our cat Ham has skin allergies and upper respiratory issues, but Dr Bussmann has always been dedicated to finding solutions for his issues that are long term. Hamburger really loves coming to the vet and all the techs and Drs treat him like a king. He gets treats or baby food while they do his exam, and he loves the attention from everyone. We're so appreciative that Dr Bussmann has worked so hard to find out what was wrong with his skin, and Ham is back to the happy boy he was after we first adopted him! It really says something when your vet is your cats third favorite person on that planet!

Lefty and I had been with Mt. Tabor since their close to their inception. Dr.Kristin Amundson-Speer and the staff of doctors, nurses and aides are kind, caring and supremely attentive. As the pet's owner, you are treated as part of the team when it comes to your pet's care and given complete clear explanations. Mt. Tabor helped Lefty and I get through two major incidents in our 10+ years - hepatic lipidosis and a really aggressive UTI and back to full health. Sadly, we could not win our last battle - but not for lack of trying. During what has probably been the most difficult bridge I've had to cross I am beyond grateful to have have had everyone there by my side. The doctors called and followed up with me to check on Lefty's progress after our appointments. Dr. Williams returned my emails and called me ON HER DAY OFF when I had questions to see if we could make things better. After Lefty passed their grief counselor has reached out and followed up. I really cannot express my gratitude. Lefty and I had 17 beautiful years together. And although he broke his promise of living forever, he certainly would not have made it past age seven without the care we received at Mt. Tabor Veterinary.

They are really fantastic here! The staff are soft spoken and loving, each exam room is set up like a small living room to make your pet feel more comfortable, and the doctors are knowledge and very good! I'm glad I found this vet when I moved here. They also connect with Vitus Vet and my dogs insurance so it makes it very easy to coordinate her care.

Such a lovely staff all around who really care for animals. The low lighting and soft surfaces in the exam rooms put animals (and people for that matter) at ease. My dog was scared when the doctor came in and they immediately realized she was scared of her white lab coat and the doc took it off. Exam and blood work went super smoothly. They even helped with getting my reactive dog in and out without having to interact with other dogs. Love this place!!

Feels like the staff care about their furry clients. Unfortunately they were not able to determine what was wrong with my friend.

We just love this vet. Before we came here, we where using the traveling vet clinics, and our dog was not getting the right follow up and vaccines. They have been so pleasant to work with, and I feel like my dog is in good hands. We even had her teeth cleaned and they did such a good job.

The people at Mt. Tabor always go the extra mile, and has cared for my pets through everything, whether it's a common respiratory issue or a rare cryptococcus cyst.

We have been going to Mt. Tabor Veterinary Care for a decade. They have helped us keep our animals healthy and happy. Our dog loved going to this vet so much because of the people, the environment, and the treats. On her last day the team gathered around her and helped her leave our family with dignity and grace. She could feel how much the team at Mt. Tabor Vet loved her. They showed us that our dog was part of their family too.

people sometimes give this place flack for superficial reasons (like the design of their exam rooms, etc.) but i’ve found them to be reliable, organized, responsive and super attentive to my and my pets’ needs. they are great at explaining everything and i never feel pressured into paying for any procedure or medicine, unlike at some other vets i’ve been to in town. and the vets here always go the extra mile to ensure your pet receives the best care. i recently had a minor health scare with my cat just before going out of town. mt. tabor took down the information over the phone, gave me multiple follow up calls within the day, managed to get me in for a last-minute appointment and then ran all the labs while i was there so that i could get an immediate answer. i can’t say i’ve experienced that level of responsiveness at any other vet i’ve taken my cat to in her 13+ years. they are so thorough and on top of things here—i trust them 100% to give my cat the best care every time.

Very kind vet office. I stopped in just to check it out and drop off some materials and the front desk was very cordial. Upon a quick visit this seems like a very organized and kind veterinarian's office.
