They love my baby. He is GRUMPY when he's there....he is safe and loved when we're gone. 100% recommend.

We recently had our cats leg amputated due to a sudden broken leg. We had planned a trip before this had happened, and due to him busting his cone off a couple time and getting into his sutures, we contemplated canceling our flight and trip. We were extremely stressed out about the situation, we came across Mittens Motel on Google and decided to give them a call and see if they would be able to board him for 4 days while we were away, they were extremely accommodating and even gave us a first time discount! I was so worried that he would bust his cone off again and mess with his sutures while we were gone, but after returning from our trip and picking him up, his wound was completely healed and they even gave him a little bath and made sure he didn't mess with his cone!! We had issues getting into a vet during the duration of the our cats amputation and my fiancé had told one of the workers at Mittens Motel about this, upon returning we discovered that she had called multiple different vet offices and found locations that would take him as a new patient!! We were so relieved and actually took him to 2 of the locations that she had given us. All together, his stay only cost us a little over $100 and seriously save us so much money, time and stress. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! They go well above and beyond. Our cat is now doing fantastic thanks to Mittens Motel. Thanks so much you guys!

I had to board my mom's cats here for a week as we were evacuated during the wildfires from an area near Sandy. They were extremely helpful, the first day that I brought them they were staying open late to take in cats from people being evacuated, and also offered to house them for free during the evacuation. You can really tell that they truly care about animals, the place was clean and all of the cats there seemed happy and healthy and well taken care of. They even texted me pictures of the cats while they were there, and offered to groom them! We picked them up after the evacuation area was lowered and the cats seemed perfectly happy, well fed and groomed. They insisted on not charging for housing during the evacuation and gave an extremely reduced fee for the grooming that they did (one of the cats needed some mats shaved off). It's obvious how much they care about the animals here and we will absolutely come back to them if we ever need to, they were so kind and helpful.

Truly caring people...Our family has had many “kitty visits” with Mitten’s Motel. You can just feel that they love what they do...

This place is amazing! The lady's who own Mittens motel have the biggest hearts they are always willing to take in cats from people that have nowhere else to take them. If you can donate to any organization and love cats this is the place to do it!

Nice facility with tons of cute house cats running and playing. Private room for my two cats that was equip with toys, a cat tree, food, water and a litter box. Friendly staff.

They really do love cats here. Your feline friends will be well cared for with attention to detail and customized approaches for each cat. I boarded to cats here previously and I've already scheduled a grooming session for one of them. I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future. =^..^=♡♡=^..^=

I will never take my cat here ever again when I dropped him off the place was really dirty and the smell was horrible and they did not do anything that I asked them to do I told them to keep me updated on how he was doing and they did it here and there and then when I would call to check up on him nobody would answer the phone and they lie about the prices just to get you to come in they told me that the first night was free since I was a first-time customer and then after that the next two days was supposed to be 20 so all together it should have only been $40 cuz the first night was supposed to be free so I'm not understanding when I came and picked him up it was $58 and they told me that they gave him a shot which they never told me about or had my permission to do when I got home with my cat he was infested with fleas and got my other cat to get fleas and we had to bomb our house cuz the fleas were so bad never in his life that he ever have fleas until then and before I took in there he had a respiratory infection which I had just gotten rid of and as soon as he gets back home he gets it again this place is terrible I suggest and recommend that nobody should bring their pets there unless you want to come back with infested fleas

AMAZING staff. I was completely comfortable leaving my cay there within 1 min of being there They took great care of my cat. also kept me informed on how he was doing, how much he was eating, how much he was playing. Price is soooooooooooo worth it. Thank you to all the employees!

They love your cats here. We were nervous boarding for the first time, but just walking in and talking to the folks made me feel better.

My cat needed somewhere to stay for 2nights while we went to Medford. The staff was very friendly and loved all the kittens and cats running around. Prices were very good. Plus I didn't have to go get all my cats shot records for him to stay. Which is convenient. If he needs it again; this is where he will go.

We have used Mittens Motel on several occasions. Brandy & Denise make sure our kitties are taken care of. One of them has to have a pill every day, and they expertly administer it to her. The last time our kitties stayed, Miles wandered around and had a great time! Mittens Motel is reasonable priced and a very top-notch company. I would highly recommend them.

Takes great care of my cat

They love cats but are clearly overworked. Ours came back very stressed and one with a UTI. I would recommend this only in a pinch, and for as short a duration as possible.

Mitten's Motel is owned and operated by animal lovers and it shows. They pay close attention to the cats individual likes/dislikes and offer a very warm, loving, and stimulating environment. If I were a cat, this is where I would want to stay! :)

They kept wonderful care of my two kitties for four months. They seemed very happy to be there when I would come visit them. The staff let me know about any health concerns that came up, mostly with my one cat who sneezes a lot. They certainly know their cat stuff and I'd definitely recommend them for boarding your cats.

I left my cat Lily at Mittens Motel for 11 days while on vacation and they took great care of her! Brandy and Denise are very capable, and made my shy kitty feel at ease in a stressful situation (i know some cats can't handle being moved and are shy around new people). I missed my cat terribly while I was gone, but the updates and picture messages that I received from them put my mind at ease. Though I know they get busy during holidays, the time they took to make my cat feel at home just goes to show that they really do care! I knew my baby was in good hands when I couldn't be there. When you first walk in there is a very strong odor of cat urine, which I discarded due to the nature of the facility. However I gave them strict instructions to keep the cats in their enclosures due to the fact that 1 was prone to infections easily, and the other had recently had jaw surgery after having a fractured jaw, therefore, wet food only. When I returned to pick them up, they had all of the cats out of the cages piled all over each other, there was a very large "public" bowl of dry food and water for all the animals. They returned ALL the wet food I had given them (despite that there should not have been hardly any remaining if they were fed it). **Verified by vet visit immediately afterwards - One of the cats has worms, and an upper respiratory infection. The other one has to have his jaw re-examined due to pain from eating dry food too early, and they both have fleas; lots of them. Also, both have pretty bad diarrhea from eating odd dry food not even remotely close to what they are used to. We were informed they also had un-vaccinated cats roaming as well because "it's okay, they are getting along!" Pros: - At least they are still alive, barely. Cons: - Extensive vet bills now because of their unclean business. I will not be going here again and I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you care ever so slightly about your animals well-being. If I knew they would be treated as such it would have been easier and significantly cheaper to lay out a huge bowl of food and water during our trip in the comfort and safety of our own home. I only boarded them because of the health circumstances and special care instructions which obviously were not followed anyways; but thanks to this business, they came back in horrible condition. I left my cat at the Mittens Motel for 2 weeks and I think he had a good time and seems more socialized and mellow than before. It's so important knowing Bailey is in very good hands when I am out of town.
