Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital Portland, Washington

I was very impressed with my first visit to Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital. I was allowed to come in and be with my cat which I really appreciated. I saw Dr. Martzall who I liked a lot. She and her assistant were very gentle with my cat who didn't seem too upset by the visit. Dr. Martzall took the time to sit down and talk with me about the visit and what might be done to help with some of my concerns. I will definitely be using them as my Veterinarian. My visit was excellent .

New to the neighborhood, a coworker of mine recommended this clinic, so I took both my cats in for their rabies vaccines and an establishing-care checkup. Cats and I were all warmly greeted and welcomed. Both cats have minor health issues, and the vet and the techs listened and were responsive to my questions and concerns. I didn't feel rushed, but they also didn't keep me waiting, or recommend any unnecessary tests or procedures. The clinic is bright and clean, with COVID procedures that are easy to follow. Would highly recommend Heartfelt! I'm so glad I found them.

I’m new to the area. It took a while to find a vet that would accept new patients, and then there was quite a wait, but my girl now has a treatment plan and is feeling much better. The vet was great. The visit was seamless and I was able to be in the room. Thank goodness!

Dr Sullivan saved my cat. Twice. Other clinics couldn't figure it out. Dr Sullivan ran the tests and found what she needs, offered cost effective treatments, and good follow up. The staff have always been kind.

Heartfelt has taken wonderful care of my fur kids. From CL diagnosis on a newly adopted dog, to dealing with my fairly mean little dog and having a plan in place for him. I appreciate the love and care. We’ve been using them for 5 years and very happy.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Zuver and Heartfelt Vet to describe how happy I am with them. We followed Dr. Zuver from another vet practice to Heartfelt, and while its a longer drive, its well worth the trip. They even have separate entrance for cats and dogs!!

Heartfelt has been so good to me and my older cat, and really live up to their name! All the care I have gotten has been so great and I can tell they go the extra mile whenever they can.

This place is great. I've only been going here since i got my kitten a month ago, so 2 visits, but both times they've been so friendly, and really treated my baby kitty, Marsha Mellow, like she was one of their own. I got onto one of their plans, that make sure your animal has all the things they need in their first year of life. It's like $48 dollars, and makes sure that she just isn't going to run into any problems we don't know how to handle. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind. Big thanks to the techs here, for always being so friendly and making sure my fluffy bug is well taken care of. ???? ***2/10/21*** EDIT - I was going to write a review for this Veterinary Hospital, having just had another really awesome experience with them, but then I saw that I already have written one, so the only thing I can do is edit my previous review. We just had our Siamese cat spayed here, and the group at Heartfelt did such an awesome job, taking care of my pet AND taking care of us as pet owners. Truly, you can't say enough about how thorough this place is. It's like picking up your human friend from the hospital. They go over discharge plans with you, and make sure your questions are answered, and print off everything you're supposed to do. It's just such a great feeling to know that such caring, skilled, and professional people are there to have your animal's back. Why I decided to come back and write a second review is because the day after cat came home from her surgery, they actually called me to check up on my cat, and to see how she was recovering. They wanted to make sure that we knew that if we needed any support, they were only a phone call away. I did in fact need support, since I was having a hard time getting my cat to take her pain meds. But they talked me through some tips, which worked(!), and told me that if I couldn't get the meds down, that we could just bring my cat back down there and they would help us do it. Amazing, stuff. They deserve flowers, they are so great down there. My cat is recovering nicely, in case anyone is wondering. ???? For ANYONE with a new animal, the plans they have here for kittens or puppies, they really are amaaaazing. They are only like 30 dollars a month, for the first year of your animal's life, and for that small price, your animal has everything it needs to be off to the best start you can hope for. (They also have other plans that are appropriate to other stages of life). Vaccinations, deworming, check ups, spay, and an awesome microchip in case they ever get lost, are all included. It really takes the guesswork out of being a good pet owner. And it saved us a pretty sizable stack of money. Get the plan for your animal! To anyone who loves their animal like they are family, I really recommend getting involved with Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital. It's the best thing I could imagine doing for my furry friend. I know she's in good hands when she's there, and I don't know how to thank them enough for all of that. Really, thanks everyone. ❤️

My cat is a patient if record with Heart Felt. When Dr. M owned the clinic the service abd care were top rated, 5 stars. Now......nope! My geriatric cat is showing signs of the beginning of the end. He needs a blood test. Just a blood draw and quick lab. NOPE! Sorry, they won't see him.until Friday! Crazy, they don't care about anything. Keep your animals far from here. I drive to Kelso to see Dr. M. HE ACTUALLY GIVES A DAMN!

The staff and the doctor here are 1st rate. They are all about the welfare of your pet. They are compassionate and honest. I highly recommend Headtfelt.

We love Heartfelt Vet, and are so grateful for their care and expertise both in regular puppy healthcare and in emergencies (we have received urgent care on two occasions) . They are always responsive, considerate and professional, and I never doubt that my puppy is in the best of hands. For new puppy owners, I recommend their puppy plan.

Our dog has gone here for a few years now and it's the best. They know my pup as soon as he walks in. The staff is super friendly and always willing to answer my questions. The system to communicate with the office is simple and the responses are so timely. You can always count on amazing guidance and honest recommendations. My husband & I recently moved to Portland from California. So finding a Veterinary during this time of the pandemic was difficult as a lot of places aren't taking in new client, which is understandable. Thankfully Heartfelt was taking in new clients especially 3 new ones (my cats). They were super friendly & professional on our first visit. They examined our boys very thoroughly & helped us with an ear infection in one of our cats who still had it from before the move (we were already treating it before hand from our previous vet but it was still hanging on one) definitely recommend Heartfelt & happy to have them treat our furbabies in our new home.

We love Heartfelt. The staff is so kind and love our dogs like their own. They keep amazing records of every call and visit to keep all the dogs healthy.

Brought my Cat for the first time last weekend and had an amazing experience. From the pre call, the checkin and the great detailed exam result.

Super kind people, good technology for scheduling and whatnot, nice clean spacious location, good covid practices, awesome place to bring your pet.

We have received great service at Heartfelt. The doctors and staff are very thorough and give a lot of attention to detail. I feel like they are very interested in the well-being of my dogs. I am so happy to have have found their practice.

Good experience taking my cat BaBa to vets. Dropped her off in her crate. Someone came out to my car to pick her up. Had wellness exam and senior bloodwork. Vet called me back a few days later with results. Suggestions given for work needed in future.

Have not been there yet, but did email them to see if they were taking on new clients. They answered promptly and professionally. I look forward to taking my pack there as needed.

The Doctors here are amazing. Always treated my poochie well, and you can tell they truly care about the bond between an animal and their human.

SO pleased with Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital! We just started taking our 4 month old kittens here and couldn't be happier. The staff are all very attentive, friendly, and have navigated this whole COVID situation with no undue stress to the patients' owners (I'm sure it has been a difficult!). Our kitties are in great hands here.

I really like this place! Smart, competent, and friendly. I take all three of my pets here.

My partner and I have two cats, and we were taking them to the vet we had a coupon for when we adopted them. But Heartfelt is just around the corner, so I wanted to check them out. I'm so glad that I did. They are responsive, caring, and clearly devoted to pets. The other, corporate vet felt kinda cold and impersonal. But I have the feeling that Heartfelt really cares and wants the best for my darling cats. They're very collaborative in treatment, making sure we understand how to use medicine, when to follow up, etc. And their office fees are actually cheaper than the corporate place.
